"Y'ELLOO FRIENDS," the raucous call cut through the placid silence of the swamp, "YOU MIND IF I BOTHER YOU GUYS FOR A MOMENT?" Lazily making his way to the border, the alabaster wildcat would seat himself and glance around the area. He wasn't going to lie, the swamp looked nasty. With a white pelt like his, he was most definitely going to get dirty with one step in this muddy hellhole. Thank god that he didn't have to go inside though, waiting at the border was enough.

  • She narrowed her eyes. "You had better speak quickly before your fur gets burned off." she neighed, her tone soft but stern.

[color=#e0e0e0]The dark wolf sniffed in disdain as he approached, though he was not without curiosity. It wasn't often that somebody from Faust's side of the forest made their way over to RiverClan. He'd never personally encountered somebody from the Cartel before, thought to Ramses it didn't really seem like he was missing much. The riverguard took his place next to Hope, ears trained on the albino liger. He didn't seem hostile so what business did he have here?

  • [center][fancypost=border-width=0; width: 450px; line-height: 120%; text-align: justify;]"Er- what is it that you need to speak to us about?" Ivylee inquired, unsure of this as she sat down, scooting close to her nephew with her sapphire eyes widening. A cartellian? What did they want? The little leader could only hope that this wasn't anything that would pull them into trouble. She continued to sit, keeping a steady gaze upon Faust as she waited for him to explain.

The equine didn't look too friendly but that's alright. Faust was used to being met with disapproving looks. It was easily forgiven too, since she was so fun to look at. The Riverclan medic had quite an intriguing appearance after all. "I come in peace," the liger would explain, showing his paws as if symbolizing he had nothing to hide. The next one to approach didn't show or say much, just the usual look Faust got. But even so, the pale wildcat would offer them a winning smile.

And boy, was he honored to have the leader herself to see him. The pale canid was the only one he actually recognized, after all, not many leaders were small fluffy dogs with blue markings. "Jesus, you're really cute," the liger lost himself for a second and stared fawningly at the adorable face of the Riverclan leader. How was this possible? What kind of godly genetics did the canid have? But no, he was here on business not this kind of sappy gay shit.

Snapping to attention, Faust would clear his throat before speaking once more. "I was just wondering if you guys had any groups bothering you lately," he would begin, eyes scanning amongst the three figures, "because, my division's very interested in helping ya'll out if you need, for coin of course."

[color=#e0e0e0]Ramses's eyes narrowed as Faust spoke to his aunt. Maybe he really did think she was cute, but to him, it was all a suck-up act. "RiverClan has no need for mercenaries." he rumbled, the seriousness in his tone making it clear that things like that were not welcome here. The qualms with their enemies were exactly that: theirs. The thought of hiring somebody to "help them out" was not a welcome idea in his book. Perhaps Ivy would feel differently, but he doubted it. As far as he was concerned, the Exiles were one of the groups bothering RiverClan, and that meant Faust had no business here.

  • [center][fancypost=border-width=0; width: 450px; line-height: 120%; text-align: justify;]Wait... what? No matter how 'cute' Ivylee seemed to be to Faust, she didn't entirely trust him. The Cartel hadn't given them a reason to want to make deals with them or anything like that, so to the canine, this seemed like trouble. She didn't need them fighting their wars for them either, though it wasn't like anyone in particular had been bothering them as of lately anyways. To Ivy, this seemed like it could be a trap... like the Cartel was trying to butter them up just so they can turn around and stab them in the back in the end. "No... we don't need any aid from you. I think it'd be best if you would just leave." Of course she wasn't trying to be rude or anything, though the Samoyed was protective of her clan, and didn't feel comfortable with the Cartel anywhere near it.

/@ ramses - where did you get that bombass art? it is beautiful c':

Two no's, one from a member and one from the leader herself. That was a shame really. But he hadn't really expected the pro-clanners to trust them. The liger was just hoping that they would but it seemed like they weren't interested. "Okay, that's fine," the pale wildcat would dip his head respectfully, friendly smile never leaving his face, "thank you for your time, though." It was a shame, really. He wanted a job to kill time and with Riverclan refusing the Cartel's services, he quite expected his clanmates to take it as an insult. With that in mind, Faust believed his clanamtes were likely to throw a few things their way. But then again, hiring the Cartel didn't give them official immunity status anyway, he supposed refusing him was the best choice for a proclan leader.

"Catch you on the flipside," the hybrid wildcat would say as he finally rose to his feet and began heading towards his next stop.
