  • oh this was weird. very weird for him. not to mention the fact it had been so long. would he even know anyone here when he returned? would anyone know him? there were so many questions racing through his nervous mind, ones he couldn't begin to even start thinking about at a proper level. oh but those who did know him would already know he was quite nervous, and in fact probably someone you wouldn't want to touch. or, if you were suicidal, then sure, go ahead, touch him. it wasn't that it was purposeful, but his large amounts of electric energy running through him were still uncontrolled.

paws trailing towards the familiar territory of blizzardclan, smudges of charred footprints in his wake, the strange canine creature would make his way up the familiar steps. who would come and find him first, he didn't know, however he hoped they would be friendly nonetheless.

  • Storm remembered Matthew pretty well. They had gone through the ranks for a while until Matthew had disappeared. Storm had since then done quite a few things. He had made it to vice-leader, had stepped down a while later and he had died. He had returned himself about two weeks ago and it seemed Matthew had managed to get back as well. "M-Matthew? I-It is y-you! H-How a-are you?" the arctic wolf asked with a slight tilt of the head, hoping the male hadn't gone through too many painful things. It seemed he hadn't managed to control his elemental powers yet, but he was used to seeing the electricity around him, so he wasn't really worried.

Wisteria initially was confused by the scent of burning grass. The confusion was soon consumed by worry, and the apprentice turned tail and headed straight towards the smell. She nearly tumbled into Matthew, only stopping a few steps short. Her eyes landed on him, then his path, then back.

The medic trainee took a few steps back, gazing up at Storm. Her memory of Matthew was small, she could only faintly remember him, so she decided against saying anything.

  • [center][fancypost= bgcolor= opacity: 0.5; borderwidth=0px; width: 450px;][font=times new roman][align=justify]Pierce had no idea who Matthew was. He was fairly new to Blizzardclan, having only joined four months ago. Despite that being most of his lifetime, he knew others had been there far longer than him. Still, the deputy was glad to see him - joiners were joiners!

He bounded forward, grinning, and halted beside Storm. So, he knew him? His amber gaze flickered between Storm and Matthew awkwardly until he cleared his throat. "Oh, hi there Matthew! I assume you used to live here? Or are you from an allied clan? I'm Pierce, by the way - deputy!" The serval offered up his large paw, watching Matthew curiously. If he had once been a Blizzardclanner, was he rejoining or just visiting? If he was from an allied clan, what was he doing? There numerous questions popping into Pierce's mind, but he decided it was best to stay silent for the time being.

  • "s-storm?" the sha creature would respond out of shock, quite honestly surprised the first creature to actually come across him was someone he knew. oh memories were starting to come back now. he remembered moongleam dying, and how sad storm and his sister had been. and how suiteheart and marg were together. and how tama led proudly, even though she was so much younger than one could have originally thought. but not all of that was probably true anymore. infact he had his doubts about many of those memories.

"y-yes, it is me, a-and i'm good, i mean, i was a cat for a bit which was weird, b-but i'm still good" the grey pelted male would respond to the follow up question the arctic wolf had asked. hopefully that was a fair response to the other. and if not, well, he didn't really know what he would do then.

stumbling backwards as wisteria skidded over, the male would let out a surprised exhale, before choking softly on his sudden loss of air. recovering himself, he would look up in time to see pierce come along as well. now this was someone he didn't know. but they smelled strongly of blizzardclan, so he felt they were probably someone he should work on getting to know.

  • Kamari didn't recognize Matthew, but then again, she most likely wasn't here back then when he was around. Storm seemed to remember him though, which was what made Kami realize that Mat must be a returner. With a nod of greeting, the reserved feline sat down with her tail curled over her little paws, casting the canine creature a light smile. "Hi, I'm Kamari Deerling, the Head Medic," she meowed softly, shuffling her paws as she straightened up a bit, tail tip flicking lightly. "Welcome back to BlizzardClan. If you ever need anything, you can um, come ask me!"

  • Wist's ears pricked as she heard Kamari's voice. The she-cat blinked and dipped her head to her mentor, in a quick greeting, before acknowledging what the other had said. Everyone, so far, was assuming that he was coming to live with them. She wanted that to be true, yet she didn't want to pressure him.

"Are you, uh, joining?" it was safe to assume that, yes, he was. But she wanted to be safe.

  • he was surprised everyone was being so friendly to him, not that he deserved anyone to act rudely to him, but he was just surprised that after all this time, blizzardclan was still quite friendly to strangers at the border. even strangers like him who gave off sparks of energy every moment or so. honestly, he could appear threatening due to this nature, but perhaps it was the fact storm had found him first that put the others at bay about his odd lack of control over his powers. whatever the case though, he was quite happy no one had bothered touching him either, because that just wouldn't be all that smart for anyone to do.

"y-yes, i do plan to return" matthew would respond to wisteria as the question was asked, happy someone had finally asked it instead of just assuming his intentions. like, they were right on what he planned to do, but it was always better to be safe than sorry anyways, at least in his opinion.

  • [center][fancypost= width: 450px; text-align: justify;][size=11][font=timesnewroman]Approaching after Kamari and coming to stand beside her former apprentice, Wisteria, Sweetophelia fixed her palely shaded gaze onto Matthew. The former BlizzardClan vice-leader had already departed from the clan when Matthew lived in BlizzardClan, but she had since returned - as had he. Although Sweetophelia wasn't familiar with the former Combatant, she was always pleased to see old members returning home.

A warm smile flickering to life at the corner of her mouth, the BlizzardClan leader approached, her lilac eyes quickly running over his figure. She didn't quite recognise what species he belonged to, but the distinction didn't particularly matter to her. A BlizzardClanner was a BlizzardClanner. "Welcome back to the clan, Matthew. We're always pleased to see loyal members return to us," she hummed, her plume-like tail swaying as she spoke. "I am Sweetophelia Targaryen. If you ever have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, please feel free to seek me out anytime. I'm always happy to see clanmates in my den."

OOC | Ayyy, I wasn't in BlizzardClan anymore when Matthew was in BlizzardClan but I remembered seeing his name a few times when I stalked the baord. Welcome back!
