Jack let out a sigh, "I don't know. I doubt glue would fix all the broken gifts. I might have to contact the people who made the items, ask them to make new ones, after Halloween. I just hope they'll understand." He shrugged to himself, looking away until he felt Nicole grab his hand. He rubbed his thumb over her knuckles, shaking his head a bit. He'd never been this down in the dumps. "Good thing I'm not playing video-games tomorrow." He flashed a small smile, his childlike antics returning for a moment. But, the grin eventually faded. He was happy, at least, that with this mood swing ( caused by Anti, Jack assumed ) came sadness and not anger. He didn't want to hurt Nicole. He just wanted to sleep and get this day over with. The sooner he slept, the sooner October would be over. "Do you think... We could sleep or something soon? I'm tired, I just want to... get this month over and done with. Tomorrow, I promise, I'll make this up to you." He leaned over, planting a kiss on her left cheek. He felt bad, he couldn't even spend a normal day with his girlfriend. He gazed down at his bandaged hands, narrowing his eyes a bit. He was happy that he wasn't playing any games tomorrow. He was just going to carve a pumpkin. Yeah. That didn't seem like too much trouble, what with his hand injuries. He'd assumed that Nicole would want to sleep like they always had. Cuddling in bed. But, he understood if she didn't want to do that.

Nicole nodded, appreciating his kiss, "How about you go finish up picking up that room of all the mess and I'll take care of the living room and all, then we can go to bed? My mother always said it was bad luck to leave a mess overnight.." She moved to hold him for a brief second, holding him close to her chest, she relished in his warmth for a second, then pulled away and smiled up at him, "We've got this. Only one more day and October is over, and I won't leave your side until you start feeling better... Unless you need space, but other wise you're stuck with me!" her giggles sounded like what a cute fantasy flower's laugh would sound like in a happy children's story. "Jack, there's nothing to make up for... Just breathe and we'll get through this... If you don't feel comfortable telling me what's going on inside your crazy adorable head, then at least be able to fall back on me and let loose all of your emotions... Heck, I do it at least once a week to you! You're allowed to get angry or sad or just downright depressed. I am here... I am here because I love you and I want you to trust me enough to hold you when you can't take the pressure anymore or you feel upset... I am here..." She moved and kissed him back on his right cheek.
-
Jack watched her go into the living room. He turned and went into his own room, sitting on the bed for a minute or two, listening to the thunder roar outside, and the rain pour against the glass windows. He yawned, not knowing what time it was, and not caring enough to look. He flattened out the sheets on the bed, closing one of the windows partially. After all, it was somewhat hot in his room, and it was cold outside. He ran a hand through his hair, gazing down at the carpet in which the ceramic had fallen earlier. He crouched down, running one of his bandaged hands over the carpet, happy to realize that he'd picked up all the shards. He stood up, turning towards his desk and noting he had picked up all the papers as well. He went to sit back on his bed, almost dozing off then and there. Except, well, a crash of thunder outside woke him up. He rolled his eyes, laying back and staring up at the ceiling. Eventually deciding to stand up and go help his girlfriend, he walked out of his room and into the living room, aiming to help Nicole clean up. And that's exactly what he did. Jack, nearly half asleep by now, grinned at her, mumbling in a tired slur, "I love you. A lot... What did I ever do to deserve ya-" He said nothing else afterwards, turning off the lights in the rooms all around the house and locking the front and back doors. He then made his way into his bedroom. As Nicole eventually laid down under the blankets, he did too, wrapping his arms around her and speaking softly, "G'night, Nicole. Wake me up if you need anything, but then again, you know where most everything is-"
-
Nicole had most of the living room cleaned up by the time he came out to help, she responded to him with a giggle "I love you too, silly. I ask myself the same about you everyday..." All that was left was to turn the TV off and lock up the house, but Jack had gotten to do it before her. She smiled as he helped, heading to his bedroom once all of the lights were off and everything all locked up. Once in his bed room, she stripped off her shirt and pants and grabbed one of jack's extra shirts and stole a pair of his pajama pants and slipped into his bed, grinning. She was an excellent thief of his Pajamas. When he joined her in bed and wrapped her in his arms, she cuddled close to him, whispering a muffed "I love you...Night night.." and she began dozing off.
-
Jack, after a few hours, woke up. Something, he didn't know what, though, had woken him up. He gently removed his arms from around Nicole, slipping out of bed and quietly making his way out of his bedroom, and into the hallway. He tried to flip on the light switch, but no light came on. The power must have gone out, he thought to himself. He was stumbling around in the dark, though doing his best to keep quiet. He eventually found himself back in his bedroom, only knowing this because he could hear the quiet breaths coming from his girlfriend, and the low amount of light coming from the storm outside. He sat on the edge of his bed, laying back on the mattress, grabbing one of Nicole's hands. He just hoped it would be a normal day.
;; timeskip to when they wake up,, pls ?
-
Yeah!
Nicole shifted and hummed, taking in a deep breath and looked over towards Jack, opening her eyes slowly. She smiled sleepily and moved to sit up a bit more. She didn't know what time it was, nor did she care, all she cared about was staying warm and finding a way to get back into his embrace. She had a good dream about Jack and her, playing some game on his gaming system, playing and throwing snacks at eachother as one died and the other won. The dream felt so peaceful it was almost realistic. In that dream, she realized how much she missed it when he was happy and how much she had to try and find a way to get him happy again, even if it meant he'd get mad with her for being up his butt too much (figuratively). She loved him so much, it hurt to see him in so much pain, but today was the 31st of October. Maybe today would be the end. Maybe today Jack wouldn't have any issues or pains.....she hoped and prayed hard that it was...
-
Jack was still asleep. His dark green dyed hair partially covered his eyes. He'd dyed his hair darker just for this month. He missed his bright green hair. But, it was the last day of October. What could go wrong? A frown crossed his features as he realized Nicole had moved away from him. He mumbled something like, "Come back..." But, if Nicole were to ask him about that later, he would have no recollection. He pulled the blankets up over his shoulders, looking peaceful as he slept. He was dreaming about getting a pet. A dog, at that. Nicole was in the dream, but she'd... disappeared about the exact time she'd woken up. It made him sad, And scared. He loved her company. But, then again, this was just a dream. He didn't know that. His eyes eventually fluttered open and he reached out for her, like a child to a new toy or animal. He closed his eyes as she moved back into bed. He was the tired sort of clingy dude. He wouldn't admit that, though. His chin rested atop her head, and he kissed the top of her head as he shifted a bit. Half-conscious, Jack's thoughts were scattered and didn't make any sense. Today was the last day of hell, this much he knew. If there's anything he's learned from videogames, it's that the last level, the last day, the last boss, the last...whichever, is always the hardest to defeat. He hoped it wouldn't be like that. What he did know, as well, was that he couldn't have done this by himself. He couldn't have kept at it this month, without Nicole. Every day, it was all the same for him. But she picked him up when down he fell. In turn, he would fight till the end if anyone tried to bring harm to her. He eventually opened his eyes, mumbling a soft, "Good morning."
;; heck okay idk why but this seemed rlly cute to me as i wrote it so -
((THAT WAS SO CUTE--))
Nicole nuzzled into him, holding him as close as he was holding her. He was so warm and she didn't want to ever move from his hold, pressing her forehead to his chest. About to doze off again, his soft voice rousing her again, but she didn't put up a fight. "Morning..... I like it here in bed with you cuddling me.... Do we have to get up..? We could just sleep all day and ignore the real world...." She smiled playfully, tilting her head up and kissing him, her fingers unconsciously gently tracing small patterns in his clothed skin. "How did you sleep? I hope I didn't snore too loud..." She snorted like a pig then burst into giggles, pressing her face back into him, he shoulders shaking with laughter.
-
Jack said nothing for a moment or two, just listening to her laugh. He chuckled softly, a smile lighting up his face. He rubbed her back in a circular motion, "We have to get up at noon, at least. Y'know how it is. Videos and all." He sighed, pulling the blanket up over Nicole's shoulders as well. He was hyped for Halloween, he truly was, but most holidays, he had busy days. He closed his eyes again, not wanting to be blinded by the sunlight that filtered in through the windows. "You didn't snore at all, actually. I slept... okay. I guess. What about you?" He responded, wanting to avoid getting up to make the video. He liked carving pumpkins, though. It was fun. "You know what we should do tonight? We should have a gaming marathon. Loser has to buy the winner a gift of their choice." He snickered, seeming pretty happy with himself right now. Didn't understand why. But, while he hated to ask, he had to go shopping, and he would be a a bit busy today. That, and he didn't want to get spotted by fans. While he loved interacting with them and taking photos, he's had a bad month overall. He would have to ask Nicole to do it.
;; rushed bc my iPod is about to die and aAAA oKAY BUT YOURS WAS TOO -
Nicole grinned, looking up at him and pulling him farther under the covers where it was still dark, kissing his nose and then his lips, then laying in silence for a moment just to lovingly memorize his stunning smile while she couldn't keep the grin off her face. "I slept amazing... You're always keeping my nightmares away... My own lovely dream knight.." Nicole realized how cheesy and dorky her word sounded and she wrinkled her nose up tight. She poked his side playfully, getting jittery at the thought of her dream that night coming true, "You're on! I know I'll loose, but deal! If I win, you gotta get me that book I've been looking at... When you win, what do you want me to get you?"
-
"A dog?" Jack asked, shrugging. He squinted in the darkness, "Yeah. I'm your green-haired, irish, dream knight." He chuckled, reaching towards her in the darkness of the covers, cupping her face in his hands, stroking her cheek with his thumb. "A knight has to protect his princess, that's how the fables go." He mumbled, not wanting to get out of bed. They had maybe half an hour until they would have to get up. Maybe, he didn't know. He didn't want to look at the time. "Could you do me a huge favor? If you don't mind?" He asked quietly, just wanting this day to be over with already. It would be bad, but he would try to be positive in his videos. Yeah. That's what he would do.
-
Nicole giggled, "What kind of dog, dear?" She kept her head in his hands, closing her eyes in a satisfied way, not wanting him to quit holding her face, his warm palms feeling so comforting and bracing her for the day ahead. She opened her eyes and moved her hands to caress his face as well, her more slender fingers moving slowly across his cheek and jaw bone in a massage-type fashion, then slowly applied pressure and began to stretch his cheeks back to reveal his teeth and gums, making her laugh. "My adorable green-haired knight will always save me, but sometimes, the princess needs to save her knight from his troubles and take care of him." Nicole softly nodded in his hands when he asked for a favor. "Of course, darling! Anything you need, I can do it."
-
"Oh, well, you see... I don't know about that yet. I guess we'll go look at breeds of dogs at shelters when I win." He grinned, before continuing. "I need you to get some things for me at the store, but not right now, of course. Y'know. If you do, you should probably go when I start recording, so you'll get back when I'm editing or just finishing up, and we can relax." Jack explained, sounding a bit guilty. He never liked asking people to do things for him. It didn't feel right. Removing his hands from her face, he grabbed her hands from his face, intertwining their fingers. "And you call me childish. Pfft." He snickered, speaking of her recent actions, with her messing with his cheeks. He, after a few minutes of silence, uncovered them from underneath the blankets. He sighed, laying there and staring up at the ceiling. He really did want a dog, but he wouldn't mind if he couldn't get one. That was okay. He'd get one eventually. He might even get Nicole one for her birthday, but casually spend more time with the dog than her. A small laugh escaped his lips as he thought of this. He looked over at her, as if just now realizing she was wearing his clothes. It wasn't the first time she'd done so, and it was a natural thing for her to do whenever em she came over. It was cute.
;; heck sorry for my late reply i thought I posted it but it didn't post
oops -
((It's okay!!))
Nicole nodded, "I'm afraid if we get a dog, you'll spend more time with the dog than with me..." She stuck out her bottom lip, moving from under the covers and next to him, sitting up and stretching her arms way over her head. "And I don't mind going shopping for you, don't look like you're asking me to die, silly. Just make a list so I know what to get. Also, if I picked up a bag of candies, would you prefer chocolates or hard candies?" She looked down on him. Her mass of chocolate-curls that remained as untamed locks spiraled around her head, framing her feminine face and matching her chocolate eyes and making the pink tone of her lips pop so nicely with her nice-sized figure. She wasn't sickly skinny, but she was well shaped compared her round childhood, but she still fit nicely in Jack's clothes. She always preferred his pajamas, claiming they were way more comfy and it gave her an excuse to occasionally steal his shirts.
-
Jack said nothing, shaking his head. He was having trouble keeping his eyes open. He was still tired. He looked over at her, shaking his head. "Dog or not, you're my girlfriend. I love you. I'd always make time for you." He explained, swinging his legs over the bedside. He yawned, standing up. He took his shirt off, turning to face her for a moment. It wasn't like she hadn't seen him shirtless before, so it was okay. "Both, maybe. I guess chocolates." He shrugged, "But, yeah. I'll write the list in a bit. But, be sure to buy yourself some stuff! Your health matters as much as mine does." He turned away, reaching into one of his dresser drawers, pulling out a regular black t-shirt and slipping it on, over his head. He walked over to the rather large window, and he gazed out at it. It was sunny. But, it might not stay like that. Just their luck. On the day of which kids would be trick-or-treating, it would rain. Well, he thought. It would add to the atmosphere today caused. He quickly changed his pants, now wearing black skinny jeans. He grinned, pulling Nicole out of bed. "C'mon. Get up!"
-
Nicole laughed, "You're right, you'd try, but then you'd feel bad for the puppy and the puppy would steal your attention." She giggles as he rants about her health mattering too, "Jack, honey, I'm okay." She watched him dress, more specifically his back muscles, then stood when he forced her out of bed, groaning like a little kid. "Mann...." She stood up and stretched, then picked up her shirt and pants for last night and began to strip out of Jack's pajamas. Just like with him, it wasn't the first time in the two years they've seen each other partially nude. "Hey Jack, you know whats nice?" She spiked the conversation, her eyes twinkling once she was dressed again and could face him.
-
Jack looked back at her, raising a brow. "No, what?" He questioned, deciding he would make tea for himself instead of coffee. He'd heard that tea was good for the throat. That, and he liked tea. He walked out into the kitchen, knowing she would follow. He started going through cabinets, placing a mug under the sink and, him being lazy, just decided to microwave the water in the mug anyway. He yawned, placing the mug in the microwave and pressing a few buttons on it. He was lazy in the mornings. Well, not all the time. Just a lot of times this month... It irritated him. Picking a blueberry tea bag, he set it on the counter, turning towards Nicole. "No, but seriously. Your health does matter-"
;; rushed sorry !! :(( -
Nicole bounced after him, a bight pep in her step, she hoisted herself up onto the counter, grinning. "It's so nice to spend lots of time with you... I know you're busy as Youtube is your full time job and then I'm working at the office all the time, but I love spending so much time with you and getting to show you all my affections and not worry about clashing schedules.... Every time I go back to my house with Rebecca, she's always complaining about never getting to see him and how distant she feels... But I'm so glad I see you so much... I'd be lost without seeing your adorable smile, green hair, and your childish personality. I'd probably go crazy and adopt a billion cats." She teased, obviously joking as she wasn't a cat person. "And I knooowwww, but I don't need anything.... Now write down the list before you go all ADD on me and have to text it to me last second."
-
Jack walked out of the room, into the living room and grabbing a pen and a notepad from off the table. He used the notepad to brainstorm video ideas. Nicole's name was on the list a couple of times, but he didn't think it was the right time to announce her as his girlfriend. Sure, he mentioned her in a lot of videos, but she had yet to appear in one. Maybe he would bring ask her to be in a video in a few days, announce who she was, you know. Flipping to a new page, he scribbled down some things such as honey, chocolates, chicken noodle soup, a few bags of random chips, her choice, he didn't care, brussel sprouts, carrots, and some cookies. Oh, and some bread, jelly and bagels. As if just is remembering a few other things, he hastily wrote down, vanilla cake mix, vanilla icing, orange and blac food dye, and milk and eggs. And possibly flour. A few other things were on the list, but that's all he could think of. He hoped it would take enough time that he could start and finish his video before she got back. "I love you too," He nodded, siding the notepad over to her, putting an arm around her and kissing her forehead before spinning around, getting the honey and sugar from out of the cabinets. Most of what he asked her to get was junkfood, but they were both rather skinny. He set the honey and sugar on the counter. He liked his tea sweet.
-
Nicole picked up his note pad and began to read over his list of groceries.Unable to help but laugh as she read over his list, she asked "Are we gonna make a cake? I love making cakes. Especially Orange and Black cakes.." She snorted, "I'll get some fresh fruits too, while I'm there, maybe we could try a new smoothie recipe my mom sent me...." She moved hold him around the waist as he made his tea and drank it, still a bit sleepy.
She moved away from him and stretched, "While i'm out, i'm going to swing by my house and get showered and changed into clean clothes. I feel gross re-wearing clothes. Maybe that'll give you more time to record your videos and what not... One day you should teach me how to edit and let me start helping you. I want to be more invested in helping you out... I heard theres a few you tubers who have other people to edit and post their recordings so they can just play and have more videos getting done faster." She shrugged her shoulders, "But what do I know, I can barely record a video on my iPhone..." she stuck out her tongue, "I'm not an entertaining person either, definitely and audience type..."
