  • Calmly, the sixteen year old girl sat by the pond, dragging her fingers through the lukewarm water. This forest was indeed dangerous, but at least it was better than being out in the open in the city, just waiting to be kidnapped and sold as a slave. The pond is where she felt the safest. Here, she practically had everything. Food, water, trees, fish...it was a great place for her to stay. At least in the summer it was. During the winter, she preferred to move to any abandoned houses that were nearby, or live in a cave if she could find one. She had been lucky so far. Just recently, an unknown neko girl had rescued her from her pound, and this is where she had stayed ever since.

Even though she lived right next to a pond, she didn't like to eat the fish as food. If she couldn't find any options, then she would, but she felt so comfortable just watching them. The fish were like her light in dark times. Even when things got rough, they would always be there, and she could just watch them swim peacefully in their home. It was like watching a crackling fire place to her. The ducks that occupied the pond were sweet too; and she especially loved seeing the little ducklings follow their parents. To her, though, they weren't as special. Ducks would always come and go. They were free. The fish were forever trapped in their pond, though, just like Rachel was trapped in the body of what humans would consider lesser beings.

OOC: This is just the starting post, kind of just introducing my character. I have no idea what the plot will be.

  • (Ah no that's fine! Hm, plot ideas... This is trickier than expected since they all come from different backgrounds. Well Dijex is a wanderer so he's more of a character that can go with whatever... Perhaps there could be some sort of a Neko uprising since they're sick of being treated like slaves and people are beginning to take sides. Ex. kitsunes siding with nekos; demons siding with humans. Reapers would likely remain neutral since this would give them more "jobs")

  • Ooc: That sounds alright, but if we go with that, I should probably change my character ;w; I kind of already have her story planned out and was hoping this would be have a similar outcome to her future (so I was adding on to her history with this thread) but if there's a neko uprising, I'd want to use a new character.
Or, we could just ditch the neko idea entirely and revolve the roleplay entirely around reapers and demons. I do actually have a reaper character who I haven't used in a long time.
The best picture I have of her rn is a Sim version of her I created, sorry xD Her name's Jessa, and her father was originally written as "the" Grim Reaper, but that can change in this thread.

  • I tried writing out of plot for it all, but it sounds really complex, so I was thinking of a more simple plot. How about, your reaper goes to reap a girl's or boy's soul because they have a terminal illness (such as cancer). But, once he sees her, he just can't take her soul. He feels too bad for her because she has such an upsetting past or something. So, because he refuses to kill her, he gets in trouble with higher authorities of reapers and they create a relationship. Does that sound good?

  • That would work with my character. =^.^= I might also create for him a best friend who thinks that he's being stupid by allowing himself to get into so much trouble xD

  • OOC: Changed the thread name because it didn't really fit the previous one :)
    IC:
Lucas sighed, scrolling through the channels on the television. This was absolutely boring. His parents weren't home; they were out on a date and eating dinner at some fancy restaurant. So now, he was just left alone, forced to find his own food and entertainment. There wasn't even anything good on TV. What was he supposed to do with all this free time? He could read a book or go on the computer, but those were boring, too.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a loud knock at the door. Standing up, he went to go answer it. As soon as he opened the door, he was pinned to the ground by a stranger with brown hair. This stranger...didn't even look human. He had long, black horns on the top of his head and a skinny, black, fur-less tail. Red eyes glowed from above him and demonic laughter erupted from the being. Without any words at all, this complete stranger shoved a knife into both of his knees so he couldn't stand. Pinned helplessly to the ground, Lucas looked up in horror. The man was now standing up, laughing hysterically and staring at him as he lie on the floor. Lucas screamed in agony, hoping someone, anyone, would help him. But no one answered. And, before he even knew it, flames surrounded him and eventually engulfed him entirely. Everything he had known and seen were suddenly flashing before his eyes. Was this the end?

  • (I didn't even know you could do that! OoO)

Dijex casually strolled through the door, brushing back his bright blond bangs with one hand boredly. "What do we have here?" He mused, balancing his scythe on the back of his shoulder as he glanced about the scene before him. The blond reaper sighed faintly and shook his head, pressing one hand to the one third of a mask he wore over his right eye. What a job here.... Such a tragic shame, really. I didn't look much into the case file but this...

  • Though Lucas laid unconscious on the ground, the demon stared right into Dijex's eyes and leaped forward. It was odd that this demon could see him. Usually, reapers were invisible to most beings. This demon was different, though. Suddenly, he stretched out his arm and somehow summoned...a scythe? How was this possible? There was no way this guy was actually a reaper. Pulling the weapon back, he aimed to slice through some part of Dijex's body, smiling insanely. His blood-red eyes were still prominent even beside the radiant orange flames.

  • Dijex sighed almost boredly as he casually turned to the side and spun away, smiling faintly. "My my, usually I'm not targeted. Come along then I guess. I'll just have to tell a friend I did their job for them it guess," He murmured calmly, carefully watching him through his bangs with an innocent smile. "Good luck trying to kill me though. You're actually outmatched."

  • The demon tilted his head and cackled. "Oh really?" He held the scythe tightly in front of him, making sure to be prepared if the reaper attempted to strike him. "Why would that be? You have no idea what I'm capable of."

  • "Why would I tell you that? If you catch me, then I'll give you my answer. Better hurry though, you wouldn't want my friend Alara to show up. That is assuming you'd like to not die a horribly painful death," Dijex replied smoothly, his scythe still lazily balanced on his shoulder as he brushed back his bangs. "Besides, I'm far too fabulous to die myself."

  • He raised an eyebrow at the unknown name, but didn't let it shock him for too long. Speaking was not the job at hand. Right now, his goal was to get rid of this pest and continue on with his rampant commotion. He rushed at the stranger with his scythe, trying his hardest to go as swiftly as possible.

  • Dijex turned lightly on his toes, spinning aside before suddenly lashing out with a thin sword that had been hidden on the inside of his scythe's grip. He smiled pleasantly and made his scythe disappear, raising his blade once more. "Feel free to give me your all... Unless you're beginning to realize you've already lost this fight," He commented, his azure blue eye never leaving the demon as he leaned back slightly against one of the walls.
