LARPing?

    I'm very interested in LARPing, I have a character and everything, but I have a couple of issues:
    1)I'm under 18
    2)I'm female
    3)There isn't a LARP group where I live


    Would me being a teenager affect my eligibility? And as for being a girl, are there lots of creeps? How do I start or find a LARPing community?

    Age is generally never a problem, though you will get some groups that prefer keeping it among adults due to legal or personal reasons (some groups can't afford the licenses to take on under 18s, for example).


    Female shouldn't be a problem, but like any group of humans you'll always get a giggler or joker. But don't let it drive you off.


    Try looking for other groups involving gaming, etc. Sometimes they'll have information about hidden LARPing groups. If starting one try starting a group on Facebook, or send flyers about.
