  • [center][fancypost=background-color:;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt]Brooke slowly padded over to the border of RiverClan, a large gift basket in her jaws. She was happy to be giving gifts to a dutiful ally, her bright brown eyes radiating her happy expression. "My name is Brooke Hyland and I'm here to deliver gifts from WindClan," the guardian called out, smiling as she set it down so she could speak. Inside the basket, there was treats, jewelry, weapons and just about anything a person could think of.

But now those days are gone and I'm not so self assured

    [

Mark was the first to pad up, which surprised him, since he was so new, but he was glad because it was always nice to meet others, "Thank you, Brooke, I'm Mark, and we will appreciate your gifts."
He smiled slightly and looked in the basket, his flower crown falling into it as he did so, and landing on a baby blue blanket, huh, that'd be nice to have, he drapped it over his shoulder and put his flower crown back on, stepping away from the basket and looked up at Brooke again, nodding his head in appreciation.

ooh, gifts. the canine always loved gifts, they were a sign of friendship and stuff. too bad nobody ever gave him gifts. oh well, a gift towards the clan was just as good now that he had been promoted to an "ambassador" role of some type. trotting up, the australian shepherd recognized the moorish scent of windclan, and was tempted to curl his nose back due to the foreign smell, but did not. blinking, he stopped next to mark and smiled warmly at brooke. tempted, again, to just rush at the gifts like a madman, he stopped himself, knowing he was in a higher position and that he shouldn't act like a fool. [color=#F0FFFF]"thank you. these are very nice gifts you brought for us, and riverclan appreciates it. i'm arcanepaw creux, by the way." he greeted the labrador.

Albeit she was thankful for the gifts, she couldn't help but frown as doubt began to race through her veins. If they had pissed off WindClan by accident, or this wasn't actually a WindClanner, then the baskets could be containing some dreadful things. Briefly pushing her doubts and worries aside, she allowed her gaze to drift back to Brooke's face, forcing a smile upon her own muzzle. "Thank you," She barked, echoing what Markiplier and Arcanepaw had already said. "Do you need water, food, or anything before you head back?" The blue merle asked politely.

  • [center][fancypost=border-width=0; width: 450px; line-height: 120%; text-align: justify;]Gifts were always a good thing, as it reassured Ivylee that her allies still wanted to keep their bond between both clans close. Perhaps she should send some of her clanmates to send gift baskets out as well, since they hadn't done that in quite some time. "Wow, thank you so much for the gifts, and it's a pleasure meeting you, Brooke!" The cheerful leader exclaimed, smiling brightly as she observed the contents in the basket. The jewelry and treats were what seemed to catch her eye almost instantly, though the Samoyed refrained from taking anything, deciding that she would enjoy the gifts later. "I'm Ivylee Xerses, by the way, the leader here! Please send my thanks to the rest of WindClan as well. Also, how is Jonathan doing?" She had heard not long ago that he had stepped up to leader at last, but never had the chance to travel to WindClan to congratulate him.

[color=#e0e0e0]Ramses's tail wagged as he trotted up to the group, his head cocked curiously. It seemed as though gifts were few and far between these days, so it was a welcome sight to the Riverguard. What with Rori gone, a bunch of his Clanmates being captured lately... Well, sometimes it could feel like RiverClan had enemies on all sides. A reminder of their bonds with their allies was something that heartened him a little bit - not that he was ever really that down about it, but still. It took a lot to drag Ramses down.

Windclan. Mae was almost positive she hadn't seen much of them around in a while and so this was refreshing. At least their allies were still doing their best to keep up with them. "The gifts are a very kind gesture." Mae said softly as she padded forward and dipped her head politely towards the Windclanner as she padded up to the border and settled beside Ivylee happily, her golden eyes gentle. "We appreciate them and will be happy to return them in due time. Sylmae, by the way." Sylmae said and grinned happily.

"How do, ma'am. Mighty thanks for all this." He felt he was reassuring and reapplying to the statement. It had been forgotten by him that it may get old to hear the same tiding over again. He just wanted to support what Riverclan had to say and just wanted to be kindly to her.

  • Gifts were always a lovely thing to have, whether you were on the giving or the receiving end of them. They were always a great way to show someone that you cared about them and cherished their existence. This thought brought him back to the time when he'd given a box of biscuits to Trey, which hadn't been too long ago. Had he given those to him for the same reason, that he cared for him? He did in a way, but.. that was something to think about later.

"Thank you for the gifts, Brooke," Lonewolf grumbled as he ambled his way over, politely making his way to the front to make himself visible to the WindClan member. He offered a light yet visibly tired smile before he continued on, "I wish you safe travels for your journey back. But as Kynthia said, is there anything we can get you before you depart?"
