How Will You Live?

INTRODUCTION

An alternate reality where ghouls, live among the normal humans in secret, hiding their true nature to evade pursuit from the authorities. Including enhanced speed, senses, and regenerative ability, a regular ghoul is several times stronger than a normal human, has a skin resistant to ordinary piercing weapons and have at least one special predatory organ called a "Kagune", which they can manifest and use as a weapon during combat.
A half-ghoul can either be born naturally as a ghoul and a human's offspring, or artificially created by transplanting some ghoul organs into a human. In both cases, a half-ghoul is usually much stronger than a pure-blood ghoul. There is also the case of half-humans, hybrids of ghouls and humans that can feed like normal humans and lack a Kagune while possessing enhanced abilities, but shortened lifespans.
To hunt down the ghouls, several government-sponsored organizations around the world were created.

Biography (Optional):
Early Life: Maxwell Curts, an only child, moved from America to Tokyo with his parents at a young age. His mother's family was from Tokyo so they'd always visit until finally they moved and stayed in Tokyo.
Growing up: Maxwell was shy as a child, he felt out of place in his new home but as he got older grew accustom. School steadily got easier for him when he found out how to distance his emotion and careless for what the others thought of him. Everything was going well for him for a while until they made an appearance in his life. He'd heard rumors about Ghouls but chose not to believe it, it was just some myth he thought, that was until his mother's life was taken by one. He wasn't there to see, but watching his father break down and in his drunken states, cursing out the beings. Maxwell grew a dislike for the creatures and further distanced himself from others, unsure who to trust.
Later on in his years he met Suki Aiko, he knew he could trust her after her kind approach at a café. They talked for hours, went to parks and played chess. The acquaintances turned to friends then bloomed into a relationship. 2 years later, Maxwell decided it was the right time to ask, Suki accepted happily and was now his fiancée. Only happiness followed the two as they planned for the future.
Then a year ago happened, he wasn't fast enough, he wasn't there soon enough to protect her. He received a phone call from her and she was in utter panic, her gasping and sobbing hunting him. Her final words follow him and her final scream as she was killed etched in the back of his mind. He joined the CCG for his mother, and now, for his Suki. Maxwell's thirst for justice was stronger, he wanted them all gone.
Where they are at present: Maxwell is now living in a single apartment with his rat, Mei. He's learned to carry on and keep a level head unlike how he was the past year, begging for another file, begging for another chance to have at a ghoul.

I'm back, I brought my girl, and I edited her a bit, adding some info about the shop and her hunting habits, as I noticed it wasn't really elaborated on last time, despite me making various references to it. Plus, I like to keep myself organized, so the shop description is mainly for my personal use.

Themis Basic Layout

her shop has 4 main offices/parts to it, the main lobby which everyone can see and is open to the public. Her cashier place is at the back of the shop, and the floor has only low shelves in the middle of it, with shelves lining the walls, two doors behind the counter, one metal that leads to the Garage and the other has a curtain over it and leads to her office. You can see the entire shop from her counter, and it is directly across the store from the shop entrance. The next is the Garage, which is connected to the main lobby through one door way and is filled with all of her art equipment. It's a large warehouse room full of machines and various art tools haphazardly laying around. A garage door and separate door lead to the alleyway behind the shop from here, and are open to ghouls and suppliers only. The singular door leading to the alleyway will only open in the presence of an RC rich being, so half-ghouls with RC counts of humans normally find it hard to enter the shop this way. (she prefers ghouls with mask requests enter this way so her human customers don't get suspicious) Then there's the mask room, a basement-type room that can be accessed from the garage. There's a door with a sign that says, "Hot Kiln, Employee's only" and while it does technically lead to a kiln room, behind that is another door that leads to a large office space where she keeps all of her mask stuff. The fourth is her personal office, led to by a door to the right of her counter covered in multiple fabrics stitched together to form a make-shift curtain, it's where she stores files, paperwork, and stuff. It's got a lock that's activated by her fingerprint/RC cells. This sensor can also be found on the door leading to her mask-making room. (She places a finger on the sensor, where it pricks her finger and senses her RC cells. A back up identifier) Despite popular belief, she's actually pretty tech savvy and she has 2 monitoring systems as well as intricate locks. One is a camera system that leads to televisions in her mask room and paperwork room. It streams constant footage from all 4 rooms covering all angles. The second is a sound system. The entire ceiling of her main lobby shop is covered in bells that are all triggered to chime when the front lobby door opens and closes, a noise which she has trained herself to hear no-matter what she is doing in the garage. The garage makes loud buzzing sounds when the back doors from the alleyway are opened, but these cannot be heard in the lobby. There's also a showering station and clothing 'shop' in the back for ghouls that show up filthy, bloody, and in need of a change of clothes. She also has speakers installed that lead from the lobby to various other places in the shop that Kiba can use to notify her of customers (Dog steps on button/lever under counter, a few lights light up in the corresponding room to notify her that she's needed)
Her home is located above her shop, but the only way to access it is the fire escape behind the shop. The lock system on it is the same as the one in her shop that leads to her personal office. Kiba and Aida can get up through the wiry staircase on the side of the buildings to access the front door, but she must be present to open it. It's a cosy and rather nice-looking place once inside, on the outside, it looks the same as everything thing else around it. No windows for various reasons can be found in both her house and her shop.

Physical features: She has long dyed fiery red hair that is naturally wavy. Occasionally she lets it grow out to it's natural chocolate brown color, but that's not very often. Her eyes are a piercing silver that seem to change brightness depending on her moods. Tannish skin that tell the tale of a girl who spent most of her time outside is dotted with freckles around the bridge of her nose and her shoulders. Short and thin, she's also agile and light compared to what she should be.

Biography (Optional):
Early Life: She was born in korea and raised by her ghoul parents. The Doves caught up to the parents when she was 10, and killed them, orphaning the kids without realizing that they had children.
Growing up: Her siblings and her were then transferred to live in Tokyo with their distant, human, relatives. Drunks, chain smokers, and abusive, they tortured her and her siblings for years. She snapped at age 14 and killed both of them, though the strain of using her Ghoul abilities while already in a super weak state caused the nerves in her eyes to weaken. When the children were hospitalized, she had surgery to try and save her eyesight, and while it worked, the nerves were still weak in her eyes, which has led to her Temporary Blindness condition. That and after the surgery, the pigmentation never returned to her eyes, and they've been a grey/silver color ever since.
Where they are at present: She worked as soon as she could get a job and provided for her siblings and herself. She sent them all to further their school studies while she opened up a one-stop shop for any needs of ghouls or the weird people. She is now the go-to shop keeper if you need anything that may sound like normal places don't carry it. Also, most Ghouls know of her masks and she's the Go-to mask maker because not only are the masks she makes high quality, but they're also relatively cheap. No longer in school, she spends most of her time in her shop or at a nearby ghoul friendly café. The CCG know her as Mischief because of the wicked grin on her mask.

Other: She mainly goes by Aiden, as it's easier to pronounce and remember than her given name.
Her hunting method's are unusual, as most CCG agents only find small traces of her hunts. She's really good at making them clean and very, very easily covered up. However, the humans in and around her hunting territory have started calling her a Guardian Angel as she only picks off the abusive and generally awful scum of the world, the people everyone, and I mean everyone does better without. She does intense research on her targets and their families, and keeps their files in a drawer in her hidden office at her shop.
