Jolner smiled softly "I appreciate the gesture" he said and read a note he also had in his satchel "Ahem. Dearest Jolner, my son, I am eternally sorry that I could not make it back home alive, however do not let my death stop you, once my body is cremated you shall receive my entire estate: a sum of 500,000 septims as well as a large Manor House near Falkreath by the name of Lakeview Manor, the only condition I have is that you spread my ashes from the top of the Throat Of The World. Your father, Elesone War-Hammer." He finished reading

"The throat of the world?" She asked, frowning a bit and turned back the way they came, most of the land below mountainous but beautiful as she gazed off to one mountain in particular. It was so tall that clouds blocked its full height from view. "That's... a bit more than I expected.." she said slowly.
-
Jolner nodded "Let's head to Whiterun first and get what supplies we need, it's gonna be a long and dangerous trek no doubt" he suggested
-
"We?" She asked, turning back to him and widening her eyes, more in excitement than fear or anything else.
-
Jolner smiled "If you want to, I'd be happy to have the company plus you are pretty damn good with that bow" he said
-
She smiled even more and something in her made her suddenly move and wrap him into a brief hug before turning and suddenly running down the hill back to Riverwood.
-
Jolner blushed softly but smiled and inspected his sword and armor, satisfied at the quality of them
-
Getting back to her house, she completely ignored her parents as she went to her room in the basement, packing only a few things needed. She had no money, no form of better armor or clothing, and no real weapon besides her bow. However, something in her just needed to go, had to get out of this place before she grew old.
-
Jolner waited quietly for her to return, idly taking a sip of his water canteen
-
"Ignoring her parents questions, she simply gathered the remainder of her things, simply saying she was going on an adventure at last before running out to return to Jolner.
-
Jolner quietly played a flute, a soft, somber tone filling the small valley where Riverwood was based
-
Following the unfamiliar music, she couldn't help but smile just slightly as she got closer. "You're pretty good." She said gently after he finished his song so as to not interrupt him.
-
Jolner smiled "Thanks, I've been playing since I was younger" he said softly
-
She nodded slightly, slinging her bag over her shoulder, signaling she was ready to go.
-
Jolner nodded and stood up, giving her a smile before heading off towards Whiterun
-
Finishing with slinging her bag over her shoulder, Kat followed behind him. Knowing well that the road to whiterun was crawling with wolves and other creatures, she kept her bow notched and in hand just in case.
-
Jolner noticed her stance and readied himself, no sooner had he done so a pack of wolves appeared from the undergrowth
-
Drawing back she shot an instant kill to the head of one wolf, yanking her dagger from what seemed like nowhere as she lashed out at a passing one. That is until one jumped her from behind, though only tearing her bag as she growled, throwing the dagger at its head and watched as it dropped. She then quickly got another arrow and killed another by piercing it's chest.
-
Jolner quickly dispatched a nearby wolf by stabbing it in the neck before slashing another across its flank as he conjured some flames and burnt the last to death
-
Stepping back, she struggled just slightly with the last one before somehow, she managed to suddenly snap down with her arms, breaking its neck as she slammed its head into the dirt with a growl, her eyes flashing yellow before she shook her head and stood, the color returning to normal. She went to regathering her things with a slight frown and sighed.
