  • This is a story of murder, theives, creatures deep in the earth, treasure waiting to be found, and dragons.

My name is Kathleeta Horethsar. Most call me Kat. And this is the story of how I found my destiny.

  • Ooc: ooh, i haven't done a Skyrim RP since old FeralFront, sure, count me in

Ugh... Wha... Where am I...? Was the first thing Jolner War-hammer wondered as he awoke on a cart bound in imperial shackles Well damn, this isn't going to end well for me I think, I knew that crossing the border to Skyrim was a horrible idea, just my luck that I get caught in an imperial trap with a bunch of rebels, these Stormcloaks or whatever he grumbled quietly Alright, focus Jolner, focus. Looks like we're approaching a town... Wait, General tullius? The General Tullius? Oh great... Now I'm dead for sure. He thought

Several hours later a grumbling High elf trudged his way out of a cavern beneath Helgen, mostly due to his significant height at nearly a full six foot, but also due to a bear, some frostbite spiders, Stormcloaks and a damned Dragon of all things, today just was not his day

  • Kat stalked through the darkening forest, her bow at the ready with an arrow notched as she hid behind a bush close to the road, a lone buck on the other side in the river. She smiled, her red hair getting in her eyes but she refused to let it slow her down as she raised the bow, preparing to loose her killing tool before suddenly the buck threw up his head, looking down the road before turning and gracefully prancing off to safety in the hills on the other side. Groaning at the loss, Kat sat up, looking over to see just who cost her family dinner. Pausing however, she stared at this man walking down the dirt path, wearing nothing more than a cotton shirt and leather trousers. Was he an escaped prisoner? Smiling at the chance to bring in money, she readied her weapon once more and stepped out, circling in front of him, the arrow aimed true at him as she blocked his path. "Stop, who are you?" She called, though instantly regretting it. That sounded better in my head...

  • (Hey)

Jolner looked up at a voice and an eyebrow perked up "Oh, did I scare away your prey? My apologies" he said, eyes focused on the bow currently aimed at him "Uh... Hey, I'm not a threat ok?" He said, raising his hands in a non threatening gesture, he didn't want to fight the girl but if he had to he would defend himself

  • "I said, who are you?" She repeated herself, drawing the arrow back a bit more. She didn't want to hurt him, but she knew he couldn't be faster than the arrow, nor be able to dodge it at the distance. She simply glared over at him, her stomach muscles tight, revealing how much hoed labor she did in the woods.

  • Jolner raised his hands higher "Jolner War-Hammer, I just escaped helgen being destroyed" he said, looking at her, Jolner himself was fairly toned, especially in the chest from working in his parents smithy when he was younger

  • Her eyes widened as she suddenly lowered the bow for only a split second before she raised it again. "You wear armor yet you look like no soldier. What crime did you commit and how did Hellen fall? If what you say is true and I deem it that way, then I'll take you to safety. But I swear, if you're lying-" she broke off, pulling the arrow back just slightly in warning.

  • Jolner looked at her in surprise "I-uh... I got caught in an imperial ambush with a group of stormcloak rebels while crossing the border" he said, embarassment evident on his face

  • She paused for a moment, all but dropping the bow. "That's it? They'd take you to be beheaded, for crossing into Tameiel?" She asked, confused and shook her head. "In these parts were more known to be generous.." sighing she turned, gesturing him to follow. "Come on, you're probably hungry then." She stated, walking down the path.

  • Jolner shrugged "I guess they though i was a Stormcloak sympathiser or something?" He mused, following her quietly, now that she mentioned it he was hungry, a fact that his stomach made known by grumbling loudly, causing him to blush

  • She glanced to him, not laughing but merely frowning as she led him down the road, turning a bend as the shape of gates to a town came into view. She raised her hand not carrying the bow, waving to the guards who returned the friendly gesture. She then led Jolner in more, showing him the blacksmith's to his left, a shop and inn to the right, the rest housing. "It's not much here, but its home." She said calmly.

  • She glanced around a moment before huffing. "Maybe, but after awhile it's just boring around here. Hunting is probably the only fun thing to do around here." She said calmly.

  • Jolner thought for a second "You seem pretty good with that bow, and I could use some extra protection since, Y'know, I'm new to Skyrim" he mused, heading to the blacksmith and selling some of the swords he had looted from stormcloak corpses and receiving a hefty 500 septims for them as well as the Armor, which he then spent on a set of leather Armor

  • She thought for a moment, smiling a tad before heading up into the house of the blacksmith, saying hello to her family briefly and talking to her mother about what Jolner offered.

  • Jolner waited quietly, pulling on the leather Armor as he did so and watching the clouds float by, Riverwood, as he had discovered the villages name was, seemed like a nice, peaceful village
