    Gleam, gleam, gleam.


    Grunt, grunt, grunt.


    Radiant Hope knew that it was her destiny to become a princess. All she had to do was look inside the Crystal Heart and believe.


    But that was when she was a filly.
    Now, she didn't believe in destiny.


    Her horn dragged her along the ground, a bright blue glow atop a body part as sharp as a knife. The unicorn was looking ahead with half-lidded eyes, watching patrols notice her and stare in awe.


    Finally, after what seemed like thousands of moones, her body bumped against a rock. She fell to the ground with an "oof!", her horn growing dark. The unicorn glanced up to find a heart. It was another statue, like the one she had found of her not too long ago. This statue had a heart on a pedestal, and it looked...crystallized.


    Was this the Crystal Heart of the forest?


    She flicked an ear and gazed into it. Immediately she saw a tall unicorn figure, with tan fur, a fire-red, pink and purple-infused mane and tail, and a horn much longer than hers. She had on a blue crown, blue embellishments on her chest connected by a golden heart pendant, and blue embellishments connected by tiny golden heart pendants on the bottom of her legs. She also had one just underneath her horn too, as well as a snowflake cutie mark on both ends of her flank.


    "Radiant Hope. I am so glad you're here." she breathed.


    "P-Princess Amore?!"


    "Yes, that is me. Though Sombra did scatter pieces of me all around, I still live here, whole, in the Crystal Heart of your forest.


    "Hope. You have grown so much, learned so much. You have followed your own path. You have suffered through much, yet you still persevere. It is time to be rewarded."


    Hope felt herself being lifted off the ground. Her horn illuminated, wrapping the beams of light that came out of it around her. It was like the Sun landed in the forest.


    The unicorn shut her eyes tight. There was no pain, only warmth, but she was scared. Scared of what was to come.


    Then she exploded. Well, not her necessarily, but the bright "cocoon" exploded, sending a wave of light through the sky. Whether other RiverClanners would see it or hear the big "BOOM" that came with it, who knew.


    She floated to the ground with a gold shimmer around her. Anyone could immediately see she had grown taller, much taller. Her tail and mane had grown with her, and she was wearing a golden crown with three studded jewels on it behind her long horn, and on her hooves she wore golden "shoes" with a blue diamond embellishment on each. On her neck she wore something that looked like a bulky necklace, with blue diamonds embellished on it. Her blue eyes, as she opened them, were warm and compassionate.


    "You have grown, Radiant Hope. I am proud to honor you with your new name: Princess Hope. May you carry this name with heart and pride." And just like that, Princess Amore faded away in the stone heart.


    Radiant Hope just stared at it, not knowing what to do. She was Princess Hope now, but...but...what would her Clanmates think? Would Ivylee think Hope was going to try and overthrow her? The new princess would never dream of doing that, never!


    She breathed as she touched her hoof to the pedestal, not saying a single word, just processing what happened. It was all a rush now.


    Radiant Hope...was now Princess Hope. And there was no turning back.


    (So yeah, I did it guys! A reference of Hope's princess body is here as well as here! This took a while to make due to some RL issues and was also made when I should be resting b/c school you're welcome :3

Hell, the canine hadn't even known that was a thing until she had joined RiverClan. So when Radiant Hope went up in a ball of light and that cocoon exploded, fortunately, Kynthia was not too panicked. She was still freaking out - anyone would be - but at least that anxiety and worry hadn't turned into a full-blown panic attack.


    The border collie quickly trotted over to where the cocoon had exploded, concern in her bicolor gaze. It was only when the new, more adult-looking Radiant Hope came into view that her nerves were put at ease. "A-are you alright?" She managed to spit out after a moment of hesitation, still trying to process the appearance of her new and improved body. "You look n-nice, by th-the way," Kynthia added in, this time much more quiet.

    What had just happened? She wasn't entirely sure she understood what had just gone down but she knew that Hope was different now, beautiful. Had her horn grown in size? Had she grown in size, as well? She wasn't entirely sure if the female had grown larger or not but she was jealous. Mae couldn't even shift at the time being and she hated that. She shifted her paws a little bit as she moved forward and smiled softly, her tail wagging against her back. "Hope, you're absolutely stunning." Mae squeaked out, her golden eyes widening in awe as she smiled at her. Changes were wonderful and Mae knew this one was going to be good for Hope.

    She turned. Kynthia and Sylmae were both looking up at her. If anything, both were about the height of where her front legs connected with her body, in the crease. She blinked as she felt a rush of warmth flow through her. "Thank you both. I...I always knew this day would come when I was Head Doctor. And...here I am. Princess Hope." The unicorn smiled. "Of course, you...are still welcome to call me Hope."


    Her voice was soft, motherly almost. She never used to sound like they before. She sounded older, and looked it too. Plus, she was immortal now. Nice perk.

Though the plant wouldn't know what that felt like, it was trying to be nice, a sentiment it rarely attempted, but Hope was decent, and hadn't tried to eat it yet, therefore it liked her..

Not only was her appearance different, her voice was slightly deeper too, with a motherly ring to it. Hope had definitely... grown up; she had been mature mentally before, it was simply everything else that was more mature. Her body has finally caught up to her mind, in other words.

Was there a new rank that he didn't know about? She certainly wasn't a princess around here, then. "Uhh... princess of what?" Of course Joji had to spoil the moment, but he was genuinely confused.

    Huh. So a few people were okay with calling her Princess Hope. That was okay. Her gaze then turned to Joji. What was she the princess of anyway? Couldn't be love; Cadance was that. "I'm...not sure, to be honest. Herbs, perhaps?" She gave a little chuckle.

    You can be an angel of mercy...

    so Hope was declaring herself a Princess...but didn't know what of? That seemed odd. But he wasn't going to question it. He was more of a relaxed kind of guy who just went with the flow. Considering he'd changed bodies before, he wasn't too surprised that Hope had changed her body. Growing wasn't really something he had seen before, but...it was just an older body. His body was older than he was mentally too. "Well congratulations," the dog said warmly, smiling at Hope.

    ...Or give into hate.

She also had some bling that Rosewater thought was maybe not quite the right color for her (the blue diamonds worked, but definitely not the gold), but that was just the little kitten being nitpicky. The pink-eyed child blinked a few times, having come over simply due to the commotion of her clanmates. Apparently she had missed the big cocoon stuff, and was only there for the aftermath. Rose glanced around at her other clanmates gathered. She honestly had to agree with Joji on the "princess of what" question, and made a little scoffing sound when she heard that Hope didn't even know what she was a princess of. "Wait, getting taller makes you a princess?" It was the first thing that came to her mind, and the first thing she blurted out. It seemed to her that all that had happened was Hope had gotten taller, her mane and tail had gotten longer, she had gotten accessories, and her voice was a little different. But that was too much to say at once, so Rosewater just went with the first thing. [color=#FFFFFF]"How come you get to be a princes- what the heck is that?" [color=pink]She pointed with her nose toward the Crystal Heart, nonexistent eyebrows raised. This was weeeiiirrrd.

Mention royalty and it was no wonder why Rosewater wouldn't be asking why she also didn't get the royal treatment. "But I can build you some stilts to walk around on if it'll makes you feel better." he teased, sitting down next to her. No way in hell she'd ever agree to that - but the mental image of the pristine high maintenance kitten walking around on stilts like she owned the damn place made a wicked grin blossom across his dark features. Maybe he'd do it to her anyway - when she was sleeping, he'd tie some big old sticks to her paws, maybe even use some glue so she would be forced to walk around like that for a day or two until the glue broke down. Life was full of wonderful possibilities.

Why did she suddenly look different, but the same? the little canine approached, head tipped curiously as she was standing there, puzzled. "Congratulations, I suppose?" She had to admit, Princess Hope did have a nice ring to it. Perhaps this was just some sort of weird unicorn thing.

    She turned. "I...This is the Crystal Heart. Well, it's not Crystal. It's stone. Just like I'm a crystal pony." She did a full 360.


    Rolling her eyes at Giovanni's joke, Ivylee then arrived, and thank Celestial she was confused and not upset. Hope exhaled. "Thank you, Ivylee." she neighed, Nodding at the Samoyed.
