Layla glanced around the room she and Millie had found themselves in. There were several cages in the room, and the doors seemed to have been broken off of them. The brunette glanced over at Millie, wondering just where they were and how they could get back to the others. But, before she could say much, she heard movement. Looking towards the doorway at the other end of the room, she swallowed nervously when something walked into the doorway. It was a dog, but it was missing all its fur, and it’s skin too from the looks of it. Layla’s eyes widened in horror. It took a few steps towards them, letting out a growl as it snarled at them.
-
Millie walked alongside her, glancing around. She silently wondered where the others were, hoping they would also find a way to get out. She also noticed cages, though the cages seemed to have bits of small flesh around it. Suddenly stopping after hearing movement, she also glanced ahead to see a doberman dog. Millie loved animals, though knew these dogs wouldnt be nice as she also took notice that the fur was missing and bits of flesh hung off of it.
-
(OOC: I seem to remember Alice running into one of the dead people when she ducked into the room. Should that still happen to Layla and Millie?)
Swallowing nervously, Layla took a cautious step back. Suddenly, the dog began to charge towards them, snarling. Cursing, Layla moved to the side. "This way!" She called out to Millie as she aimed to grab the other girl's arm. Noticing a room, she quickly wrenched the door open. "We can hide here," she told Millie hurriedly. They had to think of someway to get out of here and find the others.
-
sure! maybe it attacks one of them and the other one saves them from the zombie?
Millie's eyes widened after seeing the dog run at them, knowing they would be dinner for it if they didn't do anything. Millie looked at Layla, quickly following after her. She tried to calculate some things in her head as to how these dogs became like this, though she was brain dead as questions left some answered unanswered.
-
(OOC: Sure! If you want, Millie can save Layla ^^ I’m thinking that Layla gets some more memories of her training back when the dogs come into the room.)
After Milliw got into the room, Layla slammed the door shut. The dog slammed into the door seconds later, snapping at the glass window. She stared at the dog for a moment, her mind still processing. What had made it become this? What was going on here? Caught up in her thoughts, she didn’t notice the dead person standing up behind her. That was until it grabbed ahold of her. Layla let out a yelp of surprise and began to struggle to get away. All she could manage to do though was keeping it pushed back enough so it didn’t bite her.
-
okay! im trying to decide what Millie should do since she was a scientist.
Millie was busy looked out the small window, watching as the dog tried to get in though failed at the moment. She quickly looked back after hearing Layla yell out in surprise, quickly moving to look back she had seen a crazed person trying to attack her. Millie quickly thought all the things she knew coming back to her. She had no weapon, so she somehow had to manage to kill it. The woman quickly moved to grab at the crazed person and moved to snap it's neck.
-
(OOC: Maybe she could see something that jogs her memory? Maybe she could stumble upon a few files that reference the T-virus?)
Layla let out a breath of relief when Millie managed to kill the person attacking her. “Thank you,” she panted out. Glancing down at the body, she noticed there was a gun holstered to his hip. They could use a weapon right now. Reaching down, she took the gun from his belt. Just as she started to stand back up, she heard the sound of shattering glass. Looking up, she saw that the dog from earlier had crashed in through a window. “Sh*t!” She cursed before looking to Millie, “Come on!” She called out to the woman as she opened the door and rushed out of the room, glancing back at the dog.
-
yeah! She not really good in combat, but maybe the ways she knows how to kill them and how they're functioned after remembering everything?
Her eyes widened after seeing the dog break through. She quickly ran after Layla, not bothering to look back as she heard the claws of the dog behind her. Millie hissed in warning as she saw several dogs appear in front of the two, her eyes wide.
-
(OOC: Yeah! I think that work perfectly!)
When she saw the group of dogs, Layla froze. The dogs were snarling at them, clearly getting ready to attack. Without much thought, Layla raised the gun she had taken from the guard. Suddenly a memory flickered across her mind. She was talking to a man, both of them holding guns. He was pointing things out, offering advice on how to improve her aim. He must have been the one who trained her. The returning memory shocked Layla, but when one of the dogs started forward, she was knocked back to reality. Eyes narrowed slightly, she fired the gun, catching the dog in the head. Then she fired at the next, then the one after that.
-
Millie watched with shock and wide eyes. She now knew that Layla had been securtiy here, she had never been really much into combat, but she could shoot decent, hunting with her father at times. Though her aim probably wouldn't be as good as Layla's.
-
Layla shot the remaining dogs, lowering her gun after the last one was killed. “I think that’s the last one,” she said, looking around before looking to Millie. At least, she hoped it was. She had used up all the bullets in the gun, and she didn't know where to find more.“Let’s go look for the others. I’m sure they’re somewhere around here."
-
Millie watched as she took out the dogs, giving a nod as Layla took the rest of them out. "Yeah." The woman agreed, not wanting to be around her anymore longer.

-
(OOC: Should they find the files and such that jog Millie’s memory a bit here or later on? And that's a good picture of Millie ^^)
Layla made her way out of the room, glancing around cautiously as she led the way through the lab. At least that’s what it seemed to be. She didn’t want to stick around her for long, and they’d be safer if they got back to the others. Though, she didn’t know where they were now. She glanced around at the room, looking not only for danger, but also for any weaponry they could use.
-
Sure! Maybe they meet up with Shawn and Dylan where they're both in that lab area? And that's where Millie can remember things?
Millie followed after Layla, glancing around as she kept cautious for more of the crazed people or the infected dogs. She needed to figure out what the heck was going on, she was a scientist, but she couldn't remember anything that could possibly get her steps closer to the answers.
-
(OOC: Sure! That works perfectly!)
Layla was quiet as she moved a little further into the lab. She paused to look through a few draws. "Maybe we can find us some more weapons," she said aloud to Millie. She'd feel a little better if they had something to defend themselves with in case they ran into anymore of the dead, especially while they were separated from the others.
Dylan was silent as he walked through the halls with the others. They hadn't seen any trace of Millie or Layla, and he hoped the two were alright. They hadn't had any weapons on them when they had gotten separated, so he was especially worried about them running into anymore of the dead. The scientist glanced around at their surroundings, looking for any signs of the dead.
-
"Hopefully." Millie said with a sigh, though she probably doubted there would be any real weapons for them to use, maybe some broken equipment, but that would probably be it. "Is that Shawn and Dylan?" Millie asked, her gaze ahead of her after seeing two figures a bit ways off.
-
Hearing Millie's question, Layla blinked and looked up from the draw she was currently going through. Seeing the familiar figures, she let out a sigh of relief. "It is. Thank goodness." At least they had found them. Noticing two figured up ahead, Dylan almost began to reach for his gun in case they were the dead, but he paused when he saw it was Millie and Layla. "There's Millie and Layla," he announced, nodding towards the two women. "I'm glad we found you guys," he told them as he walked towards them.
-
Shawn hadn't taken notice at firs,t but after hearing Dylan, he turned around to see the two women approaching them. A faint smile appeared on the man's face, glad that the two woman were alright, especially since the dead were now lurking around the hive. He agreed with Dylan. Millie smiled, glad to also see the two men. She followed after Layla.
-
Layla smiled as she walked over towards them. "I'm glad to see you guys too." She was glad they had run into them, as she had no idea how long it would have taken them to find them. And it was good to know they were safe. Swallowing, she looked to Dylan to Shawn. "Where should we go now?" She may have gotten memories of some of her training back, but she still hadn't started recalling the layout of this place yet.
