    Millie watched with wide eyes as the crazed people flew backwards, "Watch the tanks!" She yelled after taking notice of them firing and missing at points. After hearing Dylan, she thought. "If they're internal organs are shut down, then they're only being able to walk by the brain membranes being active.." She spoke, mostly to herself. "Shoot them in the head!"

    As Dylan finished reloading his weapon, he glanced around at the tanks that Millie had mentioned. He realized then that some of their shots had missed. Raising his gun, he listened quietly as Millie spoke and closely watched the people that made their way towards them. He nodded at her words. If what she was saying was true, then shooting them in the head made sense. Aiming his gun at one of the closest ones, he shot it in the head. It fell the ground, limp. Kaplan quickly did the same, shooting a few of the crazed people in the head. “It worked! As soon as we clear a path, we need to get out of here!” He called out to the others. Layla couldn’t help but feel relieved that Millie had figured out some way to fight the people trying to attack them. Hearing Kaplan’s words, she quickly nodded in agreement.

    Millie was silent as she thought to herself, blinking his eyes and furrowing her eyebrows. How could these things come to be? She didn't know but the woman then agreed with Dylan, Shawn doing the same as he went to shoot them in the head, the crazed people also falling limp.

    Dylan and Kaplan both continued to fire at the crazed people. Dylan’s eyes narrowed slightly as he made sure to aim for the head. There were so many of them and for a minute he wondered if they’d be able to make a path through them. Suddenly, he heard Kaplan’s voice ring out of the sound of gunfire. “Guys, this way!” Turning, Dylan began to follow him, firing at one of the crazed people that tried to lunge towards him. Layla quickly started after them, glancing back to make sure the others were with them. What had caused these people to act this way? What had happened to them?

    Shawn quickly followed after him, shooting his gun. He was also full of question as to why this happened while Millie, J.D, and Rain ran after them as well. The female scientist was trying to find a way why these people seemed to be crazy..

    Dylan continued to race after Kaplan, firing at any of the deranged people that lunged at them. He still was trying to figure out just why these people were acting the way they were. He continued after Kaplan, Layla following a few steps behind him. It seemed they were finally putting some distance between themselves and the horde of crazed people attacking them. Kaplan glanced back behind the group, trying to see if there were any more of the people following them.

    I think J.D unlocks the elevator?


    J.D ran ahead of the group slightly after taking notice of the elevator come into view, he had to figure out the pass code to get into it so they could escape, though he couldn't quite focus on what it was. The man began typing in some numbers, though failing every time he attempted. "Come on!" Shawn hissed to J.D, moving to shoot more of the dead, though his ammo was getting low and there were too many to kill all off. Millie watched with wide eyes, just standing there as she really didn't know what to do.

    (OOC: Now that you mention it, I think he did too.)


    Dylan raced along after the others, glancing back at the horde of crazed people following them. He still didn't know why they were acting the way they were, but regardless they needed to get away from them. As J.D began to work on the passcode to get into the elevator, Dylan turned and raised his gun. Taking aim, he fired at one of the people that lunged for them. "Hurry!" he called out to J.D when he saw that that many of the people still remained and were quickly coming towards them. Dylan fired at another one that got closer to them.


    Layla turned to watch as the crazed people raced towards them. She didn't know what to do. Suddenly, one of the people lunged for her. She reacted almost in instinct. She pushed at the person to keep them from biting at her. Their jaws continued to snap at her. Moving quickly and without much thought, Layla moved to grasping their head, and with a quick motion, broke their neck. She hadn't been sure if it would work, but she had to do something to get them off her before they hurt her.

    J.D tried his best, though he quickly forgot the passcode as nervousness hit him hard. "Enter the damn code right!" Shawn snapped as the zombies closed on them now. It took J.D a few more times before he finally got the code right. Hope rose within Millie after seeing the elevator door open, though her eyes widened and the hope vanished as the elevator was full of the dead, swallowing J.D into the elevator.

    Layla swallowed when she heard Shawn’s shout to J.D. They had to get out of here. With all these crazed and likely dead people trying to swarm them, they needed a way out. She heard Dylan fire off another shot at another person rushing towards them. Turning, Layla looked to see the elevator opened. They could get out! But, her heart quickly dropped when she saw that the elevator was full of the dead. They grasped at J.D drawing him into the elevator. Kaplan rushed forward to try and help get J.D, but quickly realized that he couldn’t do anything. There were too many. As the dead pulled J.D into the elevator, Dylan could only watch in horror. Layla covered her mouth in shock. What did they do now?

    "J.D!" Rain yelled as she threw herself to the dead to try and pull J.D out, reaching for him, but it was too late. The dead were already on J.D, biting him. One of the crazed people went to grabb Rain's arm, sinking their teeth into her flesh and breaking the scream. The woman cried out in pain.

    Hearing Rain’s pained cry, Kaplan reached out for her. Grasping the woman, he pulled her back away from the elevator of dead people. He winced at the sight of the dead biting at J.D. A feeling of dread washed over Dylan as he glanced around. “Guys, let’s go,” he said. He hated that someone else had died, but they had to move on now if they wanted to get away from them. “Which way should we go?” he asked, glancing over at Shawn. Layla kept close to the others, glancing over at Rain worriedly, seeing that the woman had been bitten again. Swallowing, she glanced around for any escape route.

    "J.D!" Rain called out again as Kaplan had pulled her back. The woman forced back tears as she had been close with the man, only watching him getting eaten from the crazed and possibly dead people who had once worked in the Hive. Millie quickly looked around, seeing that the dead were closing in on them now. "We can make a pathway there!" She pointed out after seeing a path with few of the crazed people.

    Hearing Millie’s words, Dylan blinked and looked in the direction she pointed. Nodding when he saw the path with only a few of the dead, he lifted his gun and fired at one. “Let’s go,” he called to the others as he took off. Layla quickly followed behind, glancing back towards the others to make sure the others were keeping up alright. She was still a bit shocked from seeing J.D die the way he had. While she hadn’t known the man really, it was still shocking to see someone die like that.

    (OOC: Let's see...Maybe Millie and Layla end up getting separated from the others and fighting the dogs? Maybe that's when they begin to have some of their memories come back to them? Maybe Shawn and Dylan end up with the others?)
