  • Millie jumped once Layla had jumped, always having a reflect. Though it took her a bit to realize what she jumped at, turning around to see a dead body floating in the water. Her eyes widened before hearing Rain make a smart comment. "Poor bastards." She grunted before moving on. "Come on." Shawn told Layla, Millie, and the others.

  • (OOC: I don’t have the movie on at this moment, so sorry if I get anything out of order or anything like that ^^)

Layla slowly began to follow, glancing cautiously at the body one more time. Looking back ahead, she followed the others. Dylan wore a grim frown. All of his fellow scientists were dead now. He had liked a good deal of them, and it was sad think that they were gone now. He pushed those thoughts to his mind and continued onwards along with the others. They were nearly at the Red Queen’s chambers. He had to focus on the mission. Because if they didn’t get through this in time, they’d all die. Layla meanwhile glanced up at Shawn. “So this Red Queen. When we get to her chamber, what do we do?”

  • ooc; thats fine! I don't plan on typing word for word. Since Millie was a scientist, maybe she isn't in much combat like the others are until the second movie when their injected with the virus? And when she had flashbacks, she can start remembering about the virus and what it's capable of?

"Cut the Red Queen off. She killed everyone here." Shawn spoke. He stopped at they came to a small open room, ahead of them was a door, and past the door was a corridor that led to the Red Queen's chambers. Shawn looked at Kaplan, giving him a nod to see if he could do anything with the computers. Millie watched, glancing around with pressed lips, she didn't know how to react to all of this.

  • (OOC: I think that would work great! I’m thinking the first memories Layla will likely start having flashbacks of would be her training and such.)

Layla nodded at Shawn’s answer, falling silent again. She didn’t really know how to react to all this. Reaching a small room, she glanced around, trying to take it all in, hoping that something would help jog her memory. Not remember this was becoming increasingly frustrated.

Kaplan gave a nod of his head, walking over to sit down by the computers. He then typed in a series of numbers. When that didn’t work, he went a different route. After a few minutes of work, the door opened. “Got it!” The man said. One of the men that Layla didn’t know the name of beckoned for some of the armed people to follow him into the room. A couple them worked to carry a large duffel bag into the room.

Dylan watched as they entered the corridor. He figured they were doing in first to ensure that it was safe. A few minutes after they entered, the doors located at both ends of the corridor closed. He froze and glanced towards Kaplan, who was looking down at the computers in confusion.

  • ooc; okay! so at the end of the movie, when they're all split up, maybe Dylan and Shawn are taken back as well, and after finding out that they're not infected, they're forced to fight in the city as a guard in the second movie?

Shawn leaned over the table a bit, glancing down at what the man was typing on the computers. He also looked up after seeing this, his eyes widened in confusion before turning to look back at the man. "Kaplan, what's going on?" The man snapped while Millie quickly ran up to the door, not liking where this whole thing is going.

  • (OOC: Oh I like that idea!)

Kaplan looked at the computer screen, eyes wide. “It’s some kind of defense mechanism,” he said, after hearing Shawn’s question, still studying the screens. “It muse have been activated when we opened the door,” he continued.

“Can you get them out?” Dylan asked as he strode over to Shawn and Kaplan. He glanced towards the door. He didn’t like this. Not one bit. He had a bad feeling about this. “I’m trying,” the computer technician said. Dylan clenched his jaw, glancing towards the corridor. What would happen to them in there if they couldn't get them out?

Layla meanwhile raced over to join Millie by the door, looking into the corridor. She didn’t liked where this was going either. Suddenly, she saw lights flickering at one end of the corridor and she could hear the sound of a machine whirring. “Something’s going on in there!” She exclaimed, looking back to the three men by the computer. A laser had been activate and began to move towards the people inside the corridor.

  • Millie's eyes widened after seeing this as well, "The laser's going to kill them!" She yelled to the four men and woman. "Get them out!" She watched through the small window as the laser got closer to the group, it taking off the head of one of the women. Millie stared in shock and disbelief, watching as the woman's head slid off of her body while Shawn eagerly urged Kaplan to hurry up and do something.

  • Layla watched in horror as the woman’s head slid from her body. Suddenly another laser formed at the end of the corridor. “Hurry!” She cried out to Kaplan. “I’m trying,” the man said to her and Shawn, desperately typing away at the keyboard, trying desperately to deactivate the lasers and unlock the door. Dylan glanced towards the corridor then back down at the computer, watching as Kaplan worked. Layla looked back to the glass, only able to watch helplessly as another person was killed by the laser.

  • "Oh my god.." Millie breathed, her eyes becoming glossy as she also watched the soldiers getting slaughtered. She hadn't seen anything like this before and that terrified her. "Hurry!" She yelled to Kaplan as well, she started to bang on the door, knowing it was useless as they couldn't get in.

  • Kaplan continued to work desperately. “Almost!” He said, hoping to get the lasers deactivated. Layla felt her eyes burn with tears as a third laser started up, moving towards the last remaining person in the corridor. As it got close, the laser suddenly changed into a chain-link pattern. There was no way around that. “I got!” Kaplan exclaimed, finally getting through the hoops to deactivate the laser. Though it was seconds too late. The laser had already passed through the man inside the corridor seconds before it deactivated. Layla looked away as the man began to fall apart, having been cut into several pieces. “Oh god,” she whispered.

  • Once the door opened, Millie stared at the cut up bodies in horror. Her eyes were wide as she stood in the doorway. Shawn was hesitant to keep going, after just seeing this.. He wanted to go back but they had to keep going until they reached their mission. Millie suddenly stepped into the corridor, moving to step over the bodies as she looked down at them.

  • (OOC: Who should play the Red Queen? Either way is fine with me ^^)

Layla felt her legs shaking as she moved to follow Millie and Shawn into the corridor. She wanted to turn around after seeing this, but she kept moving. She carefully stepped over the bodies, glancing around cautiously. Dylan and Kaplan entered behind her, the two pausing to grab up the duffel bag the commandos had carried into the corridor.

As they reached the inside of the chamber, Kaplan spoke up. “Can someone help me with this?” He asked, gesturing down the duffel bag he and Dylan were lowering. He unzipped it so they could get the device out.

  • Shawn held his gun up, leading the way. Once they had reached the chamber, he lowered his gun before moving to help Kaplan and Dylan with the bag. Millie glanced around, still shocked by the others being dead. She was unsure about everything now. It was starting to scare her.

    ooc; it doesn't matter lol

  • (OOC: lol I can play her, if that’s okay ^^)

“Thanks, “Kaplan said as Shawn helped them with the bag. He moved to carefully start lifting the device inside and moving it over to the center of the chamber to start attaching it. Layla watched quietly as he did that, her mind still reeling with what they just witnessed. This whole thing was starting to really scare her. She looked over at the device. “What’s that?” She asked.

“It’s what we’re going to use to shut down the Red Queen,” Kaplan explained as he started to attach it to the machine in the center of the room. “It will deliver a huge electrical charge, which will scramble the mainframe. Then we can reboot her.”

  • To Millie, they should of just left her alone to be just locked with the Hive, no other Umbrella facility, but she knew that it was possible for the computer to transfer, it also seemed easier too, but it just felt strange to her. The woman watched as they put the large disks in the chamber, really confused as to what was going on until they had answered Layla's question.

    okay!

  • Layla could only nod at Kaplan’s answer, not really having much to stay about that. She watched as Kaplan slid another disk in place, wondering just how this would go. Kaplan turned, about to slide another disk in. However, a red hologram was quickly formed in another part of the room. It was hologram of a little girl. “Get out,” she said, “You have to leave. I don't advise disabling me. It will result in a loss of power.” Kaplan spoke up as he pushed another disk into place, “Don’t listen to her.” Layla eyed the hologram uncertainly. "She'd say anything to stop us from shutting her down," Kaplan added, "So just don't listen to her."

  • Millie suddenly jumped after seeing the hologram. A little girl. Was that the Red Queen? She stared at the red figure with wide eyes before glancing back at Kaplan, "A hologram of the Red Queen." Shawn said as he helped Kaplan some more, not paying any attention to the hologram. Millie went to step in the other room, pressing herself up against the wall so she wouldn't come in contact with the lighting.

  • Layla glanced over at Shawn as he spoke, though quickly looked back to the hologram. The hologram continued to ask them not to shut her down. Kaplan ignored her as he worked away. Layla meanwhile went to join Millie up against the wall, carefully avoiding the lights. After seeing what had happened to the others, she didn’t want to take any chances.

“Okay, that’s it,” Kaplan told Shawn as they got the last of the disks in place. Picking up the controls for the disks, he walked over to where Millie was. Beckoning for him and Dylan to follow him, he stepped around to the wall across the doorway from Millie and Layla. Dylan nodded and quickly followed him. Kaplan pressed the button to being the charge, but just before he pressed the button to start it, the Red Queen looked at them and said, “You’re all going to die down here.”

  • Shawn followed after them, moving to watch the man as he went to shut the system down and restart it. Millie looked at the Red Queen as she said that, moving to eye her. She was just a computer... Millie wanted to push back the thought that the computer program could kill them all, was that true? Or was there something more to this? Shawn had said that everyone died down here, was could possibly go wrong?

  • Layla's eyes went wide when the Red Queen said that they'd die down here. She was a computer...What could she do? She thought back to what Shawn had said. She had killed everyone in this facility. What would she do to them? Layla was quiet as the Red Queen was deactivated, her hologram disappearing and the lights dimming. "Alight," Kaplan began, glad to see that they were successful in shutting her down. "Let's go meet back with the others."

Dylan nodded slowly at Kaplan's words, replaying the Red Queen's words in his mind. Why had she just decided to kill everyone here? It was strange, that was for certain. Rolling his shoulders, the scientist moved to start following Kaplan. While their attempt to shut down the Red Queen was a success, he still had a bad feeling about all this.
