Millie made her way down the hospital hallway, leaning up against the wall for support. She had to find her friends.. "H-Hello?" She called out weakly, quickly stopping and almost stumbling, they had put something in her.. she felt different.

Something felt off, and not just about the hospital. Something felt different about herself. But, Layla couldn’t figure out what it was. Maybe they had given her some type of drug or something and the effects were wearing off. Layla continued a little further down the hallway, this time hearing a voice again. It sounded like it could be the same one. “Hello?” She called out, this time her voice stronger and a little louder. She stepped forward, bumping into a portable shelf, causing it to hit the wall and make a noise. But, she didn’t really care in the moment. She had to see if someone else was in this place.
-
Millie began to gain her strength back in her legs fully now, though she had a major headache and her vision was blurred. She suddenly froze after hearing a loud noise a ways away down the hallway. "H-Hello?" She called out again. Moments after walking towards the loud sound, a figure appeared but she couldn't make out who it appeared to be.
"L-Layla?.." Millie suddenly croaked out after her vision cleared a bit, a woman not much older than her appeared, making out the figure.
-
Layla perked up when she heard the voice again. Now she knew it wasn't her imagination. She started moving forward again and saw a figure appear up ahead. Then, they said her name and she realized who it was. “Millie?” She asked aloud when she figured out who it was. It was good to see a familiar face again. “Do you know what happened here?” She asked as she made her way over to Millie.
-
Relief washed over her as she saw a familiar face again, though shaking her head once Layla had said that. "No.. Have you seen Dylan and Shawn?" The woman asked as she leaned up against the wall slightly to keep herself from falling. She was tired, and she felt a bit weak but had gained some of her strength back.
-
Layla shook her head when Millie asked her if she had seen Dylan or Shawn. “I haven’t,” she replied, “I wonder if they’re here though?” The brunette glanced around the hallway. She and Millie had been brought here, so maybe Shawn and Dylan had been brought here too. “I haven’t see anyone other than you really. But, I’ve explored much really either,” she added, looking back to Millie.
-
maybe Shawn is out in the city fighting? and maybe Dylan is like kinda mutated and controlled by the scientists which makes him a bit powerful and tries to kill the three of them.
"We need to get out of here.." Millie spoke after hearing her. Maybe the others were able to get free. She was beginning to get a bit claustrophobic in the small hallway, wanting to go outside and see what was all going on.
-
(OOC: Sure! That sounds good to me! ^^)
Layla nodded slowly. “Yeah. Let’s get out of this place. Maybe we can find some help once we get out,” she said. She began to move further down the hallway, scanning their surroundings carefully as she went. She didn’t want them to get taken off-guard by anything dangerous. She wished they had some idea of where they were. Maybe they’d recognize the area once they got out.
-
"Everything looks so.. abandoned.." Millie spoke as she glanced down another hallway to see scraps of papers and no one around. "It seems like this is some kind of hospital." She also commented before looking back ahead of her to see a large door that lead outside.
-
Layla nodded in agreement with Millie’s words. It did look like a hospital. “I wonder why it was abandoned though.” It really did seem abandoned. There were no people to be found and it seemed that the things here hadn’t been moved in a long time. Noticing the door up ahead, Layla made her way towards it and pushed it open. The door moved somewhat stiffly, but it swung open. Looking outside, Layla gasped in shock. The city was pretty much in ruins it seemed. What had happened? How long had she and Millie been in that hospital?
-
Millie followed Layla out, her eyes also widening as well after seeing Raccoon City up in pieces. "Holy.." She breathed, the idea then hit her, had the infection gotten out of the Hive?
-
Layla looked around with wide eyes. All of Raccoon City was pretty much trashed. What had happened here? Then, she found herself wonder. The virus they had learned about in Hive. “Do you…Do you think the virus got out?” She asked, looking over at Millie. If the virus had gotten out, then how many people had died? Layla figured it was a lot. And that meant there were likely lots of zombies roaming the streets of Raccoon City now.
-
Millie was silent, she thought for a long moment, if the Hive had opened up again after them, then there meant there was more Umbrella workers in the city. "I-I don't know.. But if that's the case.." She started as she started towards an abandoned police cars, moving to bust open the window with her elbow before moving to pull out a shotgun.
-
Layla swallowed the lump that was quickly forming in her throat. “Then a lot of people are dead,” She whispered, partially to herself and partially to Millie. How much of the population was gone now? The city was eerily quiet and it seemed like it was completely empty. She followed Millie over towards an abandoned police car. “At least we have a weapon now,” she noted when the other woman pulled out a shotgun. Good. They’d need some way to defend herself.
-
Millie cocked the shotgun before moving to hand the woman the gun, remembering Shawn and Dylan telling her that she had once been security for the Hive. Millie then looked around to see a chain wrapped around a bicycle that was hooked to a pole. The woman walked over to it and took the chain to use it as her own weapon.
-
When Millie passed her the shotgun, Layla nodded to her in thanks. While Millie took the chain from the bike, Layla looked around. She couldn’t see any signs of movement among the abandoned vehicles and debris. How long had the city been like this? Her thoughts drifted to Shawn and Dylan. Would they ever see them again? She hoped so. Sighing, Layla looked to Millie. "Where do you think we should go?" Layla felt almost lost right now.
-
Millie thoght for a second, "We should find a store.." The woman started as she felt real uncomfortable, only having a latge piece if cloth taped to the front and back side of her. They needed to find some proper clothes.
-
“Good idea,” Layla said, nodding at Millie’s answer. Her state of dress was similar to Millie’s. All she had on was a large piece of thin cloth tabbed to her front and back. It made her feel uncomfortable and vulnerable. “We need some clothes. And supplies,” She added as she started walking towards the buildings. She glanced around, looking, as well as listening, for any signs of anyone being nearby.
-
Millie's senses had unusually enhanced, which had made her able to see better and hear, also sensing living and moving things nearby. So far, she didn't sense anything so she relaxed just a bit as she glanced around for any clothing stores or supplies stores.
-
Layla walked along, listening quietly to their surroundings. It was then that she realized something. She could hear much better than she usually could. It was odd, but she really didn’t think much on it, as she knew they had to stay focused on their surroundings. She didn’t want to be taken off-guard by anything. Glancing around at the store fronts they passed, she nodded towards what seemed to a clothing store. “Maybe we can find some clothes there,” she said, hoping that there were still some there.
