  • OOC: So close, yet so far.

Hearing the reply Amira jumped to his sense's, It was her! Quickly he started running towards the voice "Clara! I'm over here-Eck!" He spat as a leaf got caught in his mouth, continuing to spit led his hair to getting caught In his eyes as he can to stumble into a mess "Ugh! Not- right-hand now!- Owf!" Amira bounced back after making contact with something "Clara?" It was definitely living, nothing to brash or harsh but... it was sturdy. Bowing the hair from over his eye he looked up at the figure in front of him, then he felt hollowness run through him, he had indeed run into someone. Amira got up in a stuttering stance, standing back from the mass, a Beowulf would had been fine, however it wasn't a one, it was an Axiel "..." suddenly, Clara felt like she was miles away.

  • ((OOOOOOHHHH SNAAAAAP))

Carl spins around as he hears a loud and sloppy footsteps breaking through branches. WHatever kind of Grimm this was, it was stupid. "HEY! What is-" His eyes widen as he sees another student, run into his previous battle partner. He instantly holds his hands on his knees as he breaks into a fit of laughter.

  • The one in the distance now was leaning up against a tree, her chest rising in falling in quick and rapid breaths. A hoarse voice called for someone else that wasn't Yolonde, so she cared little about whoever it was. She put on a devilish grin, thinking how unsportsman-like to try to meet up with someone on purpose. For shame. With and exaggerated step off of a Branch Yolonde reappeared in the tree above Clara, her feet making solid contact with a sturdy seeming branch. With a second movement she was sitting on the branch, her head in her hands absently looking down at the poor girl who was calling for her little friend. She put on a pout after a couple moments of just watching her. "Who's this Amira person, eh?" She asked with a playful note of deviance in her tone, lowing herself to be looking down at the poor girl.
((And here's her antagoniser... ahh how fun))

Evie looked up as she heard the soft melodic tones of a male voice seeming to be speaking to her, and shot up to be standing on her feet, almost in a sort of military readiness uncouth to a girl of her size or appearance. Standing up next to the lance her smallness, or the largeness of her weapon was very apparent, as it towered over her by at least a foot of height. It's massive structure embedded in the earth. He was another student! "H-HELLO!" Evie said loudly as she gave an exaggerated oriental bow towards the boy. Her face felt hot, ugh she was being so awkward, and on her first impression. No wonder her only other interaction had gone quite poorly. She straightened up, face flushed red, but shoulders and posture more relaxed. She was too distracted by her self to notice him take an instinctual step away from her.
In an attempt to recompose herself she moved over to the large lance stuck in the ground and stood up on the tips of her toes in order to reach the handle above her, making a quick movement up with a hop to dislodge it from the earth so she could hold it. Despite the difference in size, the faunas seemed quite capable of wielding her weapon with grace and ease, one hand on the the main handle shaft, the other on the upper grip, designed for stabilization in gatling mode.
"I - EEK!" She started, only to be interrupted by the twang of an arrow striking a tree closeby. Her base reaction kicked in, being helped as well probably by her nerves as she turned to face it, pointing the tip of her lance at it. With a quick movement of the handle back the point slid back with a supporter of the rear jet to reveal the dozen or so gatling barrels inside the main shell of the lance. With only a moment's spin up the Barrels spat to life, firing enough rounds to punch large accented holes in the trunk of the tree, causing it to soon break under its own weight and fall back. The Faunas' breathing was erratic and her shoulders were tensed as she lowered the lance, breathing a sigh of relief when nothing seemed to be there.
"It was... Just a tree..." She reported, turning to look at the boy with a weak smile and a heartless chuckle. This was one damn good first impression.

  • Clara jumped with a tiny shriek as she snapped her head up to see the girl in the tree. In doing so, she regrettably opened her right eye and blood dripped into it. She whimpers, holding her hand on her face to tightly shut her eye. "L-Leave me alone!"

  • Axiel had been just about to respond, but he was interrupted as a form smacked into his back, making him catch himself before he fell over and spinning around to point his shotguns at whatever had struck him. His eyes landed on Amira, and he could feel an emotion rising up in him. It wasn't anger, but something similar. It felt like the distance began to grow as he stepped slowly toward the prone form. "SO! Where is your little friend now?" He asked, a smug smile resting on his face. He had the advantage, and he knew it.

To be honest, he was finding Evie to be quite funny, and he had to hold in a chuckle to prevent himself from being rude. He was about to comment on something when an area landed nearby, causing him to spin around, pulling out his bow and violin. He turned his head to ask what the plan was, but he was suddenly forced to turn quickly and hide behind his moderately sized shield as splinters sprayed and he put his head in cover to keep his eyes. He only checked again when he saw the tree fall over in a different direction. He could see the full picture of the lance now, and the fact that it seemed to be the cause of the tree's utter destruction. "Uh...yeah, that's good." He said, moving around in a circle until he was behind her instead of in front. "Just don't point it at me please." He said, offering a nervous smile. Her small form was certainly misleading. "I think we might have an unwanted visitor though. Just don't shoot yet!" He quickly added, not wanting to be a suspect to a murdered student.

(They seem kind of like Ren and Nora XD)

  • Amira stared at Axiel "She's..." it was almost as if his hair was taunting him as it flowed back over his left eye "..." he broke eye contact and looked down at the Sylvan area around them, this wasn't good. He stood still for a while, he couldn't go anywhere and honestly he was surprised Axiel had greeted him in such a manner, he could have swore that he would at least know the rules "T-... The first person..." he took in a better breath "The first person we make any kind of contact with is our partner..." Amira felt himself getting warmer "For the rest of our time here at beacon academy." he recited what they had told him the best he could, what else was he supposed to do? He wasn't in the best situation after all

Shots fired not to far behind her, Dyamond laughed at the move, thank goodness she hadn't stood still after taking the shot unless whatever dolt that knew how to fire a gun would have ended her quickly a swiftly, and if they happened not to... well, it wouldn't be pretty for either side anyway. The figure continued to blaze though the forest, after she had began moving she didn't plan on stopping for a second, dodging by trees, hopping over vines and every now and then swinging off a couple of branches in a row to avoid whatever ivy and possibly thorn or itchy brush below her. She felt the humanity slip farther and farther away as the distance between her landing area and her current location was stretched to their bounds. Hopefully some sign of breaking through the forest would appear, the ruins to the relics had to be somewhere, continuing onward Dyamond ran into a den of leaves overhead, she stopped in the area noticing how abnormal it was.

The leaves above her had no base, no trunk or rooting to hold onto "..." her eyes glanced around for any sign of human life, nothing, Just a waste of time. She kicked back off to head back into the forest, reaching the border of the den she prepared to launch "-!" two swiping fangs stopped her in her tracks as she reversed her direction while her boots kicked up mud. She fell back into the den as the fangs surged though the leaves around her like a shark, carefully she took her bow off of her back once more along with a bow from her Quiver, her eyes mellowly followed the fangs attitude. Suddenly, another pare of fangs did the same, just as long as the others were as surfing in unison with them as well, Dyamond picked another arrow from her quiver and placed the previous one her mouth. There was no help coming for her, this time it would be whatever Grimm was haunting the area she was in versus her, two snake heads dashed out of the tree tops towards her as its coiled body fell through as well, Dyamond pulled back her bow and jumped up, this time she wouldn't miss.

  • Carl adjusts his bandanna as he walks over. "Another little punk?? Nope. Forget it. I'm out." He throws his hands into the air and just keeps walking past the two of them.

  • Axiel narrowed his eyes, his smile becoming a frown. "Oh, those were rules huh? Screw the rules. The only reason I haven't beat your face into the ground yet is because your little friend didn't actually turn out to be a sniveling weakling. A for you, it's apparent I don't need to force you to eat dirt. Now get up." He said turning to point his shotguns at Carl. "Hey, we aren't done yet coward." He said coldly, an icy glare on his face. Now that the sound was taken care of, he had no problem with finishing his previous fight.

  • "..." Amira got up, fallen leafs fluttering softly in the heated air around him "She's fine." he got up, his eyes and glare changed to the one he had originally stared at Axiel with, nothing, nothing at all. Amira giggled "Screw the rules, huh?" his eyes snapped back to normal, Axiels words fazed him but they seemed to have no effect on his current manner "I guess a genius like yourself wouldn't mind getting the S-Class boot out of beacon, wouldn't you?" he turned his head towards the figure "And let me tell you something... the dirt isn't half bad! You should try some, well..." he put his left hand on his hip and the other over his mouth "If you haven't tried it already~" Amira might not have felt the best of his current character, especially with the madman in front of him but he figured it was for the best. Had Clara actually show Axiel her place? Maybe so... she felt delicate to him, but every rose does have its thorns, and that made him more happy for her! If she could do that then their was no way she wasn't okay, especially since Axiel was right here in front of him.

  • He raised a calm eyebrow at the response, eyes still fixed on his dueling partner. "At least then I would get the S-class treatment I deserve." He commented dryly, confident that Amira wouldn't do anything to interrupt. He never seemed much for action. Even when Axiel gave him a few good kicks. Even then, all he had gotten out of him was some weird incredulous stare. Strange, but not really anything else.

  • Carl rolls his eyes. "Sorry I interrupted your little argument about your girlfriend, but..." He stretches dramatically. "I'm gettin' tired of this forest thing. Can't live without my foot massager!"

  • Axiel rolled his eyes dramatically in return, spreading his arms. "All right then, if your tired of it find a way out. It seems you're always full of responses, so what do you think we should do now?" He asked, arching an eyebrow. Girlfriend. Heh, right. He would just as soon give up or run away. And there was no way he was doing either of those things.

  • Amira smiled at Axiel "Deserve?" he said in a sweetly questioning voice followed up by laughter "Yeah. Sure you do." the words were sharp, toneless and bitter, silent and under Amira's voice, he was still smiling but the tone sounded far to serious to align them together. Noticing the other boy run off Amira looked back at Axiel and shrugged his elbows, attempting his best to ignore what the hoodlum had said before leaving "You seem to care less about me..." he looked away "And it doesn't even seem like you wan't to be on the same team as me..." Amira sighed and closed his eyes "So, why are you asking me what to do?" he stuck out his tongue slightly at him, not fully angered but enough to mock him

The snakes clashed against each other as Dyamond dodged their opening attack, black and white, ying and yang "..." the two spent no time circling back around each other for their second strike, Dyamond noticed this as she reached the peak of jump, quickly she turned her aim towards the black sided snake and shot at it, the arrow didn't stick but the black head still flinched back and screeched slightly, changing its direction. Dyamond reached for the second arrow in her mouth but remember the secondary head, staring behind her she noticed its jaws ready to eat her whole, carefully placing her boots on its teeth she pushed off hard and threw herself away from its jaws just as they shut, Dyamond didn't waste a second as she got back up to load the next arrow into its rest and come up with a better plan.

Though the snake skin wasn't the strongest it was still scale plated, arrows could pierce it but "could" wasn't reliable enough in a 1 on 1 like this, or a two on one depending on how you look at it. Swiftly the black head came back to dunk on top of Dyamond, throwing herself forward she narrowly escaped from the gap caused by the fangs getting stuck in the ground- the fangs, That's it! Dyamond stopped running and turned around, but the white head that was racing after her caught her off guard and knocked her inside the coil of the bi-snakes constant wrapping. The two circled her, the room she had inside the coil getting smaller and smaller as the heads watched her drain out of room, but Dyamond stared back the Grimn, deep down into their crimson blood red eyes.

Nearing its end the wrapping accelerated to crush Dyamond, however the girl was betting on that, in a jab at the scale she caught her bladed bow under the scale and slightly into the skin to sling herself up on its body. Spending no time she started to run on the snakes body as the white head followed after her movements, the black head stayed back and out of its way, Dyamond kept going and going around and around until she came back around to the black heads length of the body again, jumping off she took the blade in her hand with everything she had and slashed at the black snakes, a large opening of scales shattered on contact. Rolling into a recovery on the ground afterwards the black head furiously dug its fangs into the ground after Dyamond "-Stk!" one of its fangs had hit this time though, grazing her right arm, however this time Dyamond stayed inside of the snakes mouth as she pinned it from the inside of it down to the ground with arrows from inside of its mouth

Running as fast as she could around the circular coil Dyamond prepared one more arrow into its rest, the white head had started following Dyamond again by this point and was racing around for her once again, after making a full lap around and back to the black head still struggling to get out of the ground Dyamond kicked off info a front flip in the air as the arrow was loaded into the bow and ready to fire. The white head opened its mouth up wide, ready to actually eat the girl whole, Dyamond winked, aimed her bow down at the skin where she chipped the scales of the black snakes side and released the string from her fingers. The arrow went flying into the black snakes skin, the pain caused it to peak in its wiggling and writhing to break its mouth off the arrows and finally escape, but as it flung up its neck perfectly landed in its inverts mouth and fangs.

The two squirmed as they were caught on each other, falling to the ground as they twisted around and tried to break free, but if either did it would hurt the other, Dyamond landed back on the ground, replanted her feet and jumped back up into the air, holding her bow like a blade, flying down she kept the spiked tip forward and drove it into the white snakes head, with he force of Dyamond's hit, weight and the pain front being impaled caused the white head to bite down hard, its fangs cutting fast and swiftly as it completely removed the black head and it fell on the ground and began to turn to smoke

    One down.

The white head being free circled back up into a cone like coil, with its other head gone it gained full control of its body, at a blinding speed it shot around the den then went for another strike at Dyamond, she took the force head on, sending her sliding across the grassy terrain until she caught herself with her bow, fairly battered she took a single arrow out of her quiver as both the snake and her eyed each other down.

    One to go.

  • "R-Right. Sorry..." Evie said as she looked to the boy, waiting for him to do something as she stood a couple of paces behind him, body slightly lowered, and the point of her lance pointing towards the ground. "Are you sure that... Whatever it is, is still there?" She asked, her eyes flicking from the bushes to the boy. She felt bad really, thinking that she might have frightened them off with her twitch reaction to the object hitting the tree... She hadn't been thinking and was just working on instinct. Thankfully there had been no chance of her hurting whatever it was that shot it because of the fact that... Well she shot the tree it was embedded in, and there was no way that whatever it was that shot it could have been in her way or behind the tree.

Yolonde gave a slight shrug and leaned up against the trunk of the , each leg hanging over opposite sides of the branch. She waited for a moment before looking down at Clara. She shifted her weight to hook both legs onto the tree branch. She swung down, hanging upside down by her legs, and using one hand to make sure the fabric of her dress didn't do anything, though she usually didn't care too much about it, it felt only polite for a first impression.
"Why so pouty?~" She said with a fake pout of her own as she looked at the other girl, her sight flipping her upside down in Yolonde's view.

  • He turned to give Amira a slightly surprised grin. See? That kind of emotion was what he was trying to get out of him all day long. Not that baby stuff he kept getting form Clara. "You're right, I don't want to be stuck on a team with you. Now, I need to go beat someone into a pulp." He said, heading after Carl.

Stopping, he began looking up, eyes seeing the same thing that Carl did. "I think we've got it."

Rhapsody shook his head, a grin on his face. "No, whatever it was you scared it off plenty." He said, taking a peek in order to affirm his statement. "So...uh..." Faunus "What's your name?" He asked sweetly, holding out a hand. "I'm Rhapsody Bleu." He said, acting calm even as his hand itched to go back to his side. He kept telling himself it was just like a regular person, but the horns kept distracting him.

  • "Alrighty then!" Amira placed both hands behind his back as he watched Axiel head over to the other boy. The leaves around him at this point were charred, any around his feet black, he didn't understand Axiel, he didn't need to, he didn't want to. He was just another student like the rest, a little bit rough, arrogant, maybe even idiotic in his own way but, then... what was Amira? hearing the other boy call out about a problem Amira went to observe it with the other boy "And what might that be?" he troded over and looked at him, whatever his name was, just another person, like Axiel. He obviously didn't care about him and so, for the time being it would be the same with Axiel. He had only made one friend so far, and currently "Hope your okay Clara..."she was nowhere in sight

    -

  • Carl turned to Axiel. "Alright here's the deal. You help me make sausages out of some Grimm, and I promise you no holds barred spar back at the arena in school. Got it?" He questioned, folding his arms across his chest.

Clara swayed slightly without noticing. "Wh-Who....are you....." She said with a dazed voice, seemingly focusing her one-eyed gaze at nothing but empty space in front of her.

  • "You're not the one making deals around here." He said, even as he voiced silent agreement, knuckles cracking. "Hopefully he doesn't run away as much as you do." He jabbed, getting into battle stance. Maybe Grimm weren't powerful enough for him, but they for sure made some great punching bags when you needed them.
