  • Dorthy had begun to go in and out of consciousness, unable to tell rality from fantasy at this point. With her wings tied to her sides and her maw in a muzzle, it was difficult to do much when dragons and humans alike approached her. For all She knew, they could be here to hurt her more, but it's not like she could think that through very well at the moment. The small dragon bared her teeth the best she could at the blurry shapes that stood before her, attempting to stand and decent herself. That didn't work quite as well as she had hoped, as the weight of the muzzle was too much for her currently weak muscles to uphold. Speech was unimaginable at the moment, as no words would come to mind, so she did the only thing she could at the moment, she gave up. Her body went limp besides the rise and fall of her chest as she took in ragged breaths, beginning to fall back into unconciousness.

((Just clarifying to anyone who didn't know/realize that Fern and Eva are a part of the Blood-Bound, just a bit behind the others :3))

  • Melody & Spar

Melody hurried and gathered all the herbs that Zenna would need. Now in the large entry she set up the herbal waters and healing salve. She hummed softly as she worked. She wasn't as talented as Zenna in herbology, but she knew enough to get everything ready.

Spar walked up to Melody and nudged her slightly. You did the best you could Mel. Now all we can do is wait for the others. She said as she sat on her hunches and watched her rider. The corners of her maw turned down into a frown when she saw the worried look on Melody's face.

    Theo & Magnus

  • Illium & Hirador

The hunter must have been waiting for them to make a move for as soon as Illium saw Mysha dash out of the cover the hunter lunged for her. Illium had said that he would cover her and he had let that hunter get dangerously close. He jumped in between them, pulling his chain from his belt, and caught the deadly blade on the chain.

"Keep going." Illium grunted. He hadn't turned to see if she had stopped, but now that they were both out in the open she needed to get to her dragon fast. He twisted the chain, catching the blade and threw it aside. Then he finished off the would be assassin with a bit of ice magic. Reaching up and touching his face, Illium wasn't surprised to see his hand come away red. Chains weren't very rigid and he hadn't managed to halt the blades downward momentum enough to come away unscathed. It wasn't very deep, but the blood didn't seem to show any sign of slowing, making the wound look more grievous than it was.

Hirador took to the air and circled above the two riders, hoping his presence would deter would be attackers.

OOC: decided to edit this cause it was bugging me.

  • Zenna and Aerah

    Zenna grinned and nodded.

"Thanks, Gaia." she said as she quickly and nimbly leapt onto the Earth dragon's back, frowning as she did. "You're going to have to let me or Aerah heal that..."

Aerah counted on the various dragons and riders to have her back as she turned to the downed dragon. She saw her eyes were barely open and she tried to bare her teeth at the Soul dragon as she came close.

Hush, now, you're going to be alright. she told her, laying her head down on the thunder dragon's back. I'm Aerah, the last Soul dragon and my friends and I are here to help.

    Markus and Roth

Markus and Roth were still tossing acid around at any hunters who came close. Things were getting chaotic and Markus could have sworn that the hunter's numbers were increasing. It seemed for everyone he tossed an acid ball or acidified dagger at, 3 more took his place. Markus grinned as Claudius and Salazel joined the fray.

"How nice of you two to join the party!" he called to them, then turned as a acrid scent reached his delicate nose. "Er... Salazel... you guys didn't throw a barbeque before you got here right?"

Roth turned his head towards the smoke.

It seems there is more trouble going on over there. he rumbled.

"Well, we have enough over here, so how about you refocus!" Markus said as he tossed a dagger into the chest of a hunter about to nail Roth with a crossbow bolt.

  • sorry))

Fern growls at the thought of Hunters.
I smell them now, a lot of Hunters... and even more lying in wait... I don't think the other notice their reinforcements... This is bad we should just get everyone out of here.
It wasn't every other day when the Hunters were treated to a Fire Dragon of abnormal size crashing to the ground and spitting fire wildly in all direction. to that he'd stop and charge them with claws and jaws snapping. (REINFORCEMENTS FOR THE RIDERS!)

Nodding, Gaia rumbled 'We'll deal with that later. Is everyone on?'

//Really busy right now, I'll add more later. Sorry for 1-liners.

  • @Wulraider I think the majority of us are kind of waiting for you and I, but I am waiting on your response with Mataethuud because my character interacted with him. Just letting you know. [Quoting it so you don't need to dig for the post I'm speaking of and for conveniences sake.]

Elizabeth tapped her foot a tad impatiently. She wanted to get things together and going now. "I'll aid the rider that seems to be in a bit of trouble from what I can see from here. You all know what to do if you need me, just have your dragon contact my own dragon." She went into the details for Illium's sake, then with swift movements, sprinted over to Altus' side and took hold of the strap that held her saddle to his back then boosted herself up with a jump. She looked at everyone with worry for a few moments. She didn't like how all of this was going. There were dragons and riders that were hurt and she felt like she was at fault for not doing anything about it. With a long sigh, she looked directly in front of her and adjusted the straps on her saddle for her feet. "We are all worried, Elizabeth. You're all doing everything you can so don't worry yourself so." Altus spoke with sympathy in his voice while he glanced back at her for a few short moments before starting to walk. He figured it would be wise to take off a little ways away from where everyone who was taking it easy for the moment, seeing as some of them were simply not in the best condition to fight at the moment.
"I know, I know. I just can't help it Altus, and you know that." Elizabeth sighed one last time, then looked up. It was just to her realization that the morning snow would be stained with a fair amount of blood this day. "Let's go then, Altus. We can't just walk around like this forever, no matter how much I would love to." She muttered the last part out loud and to herself with a slight shake of her head, then prepared for Altus to take to the skies. If Elizabeth was correct the patrol was almost upon them. The thunder dragon immediately turned himself in the direction of where all of the commotion was and took off in that direction as fast as he could. Elizabeth had a death grip on the edges of her saddle, for she had no horn like some riders did, and prepared for the impact of Altus' landing. He made it to the area the fighting was occurring and arrived in due time then landed quickly and carefully in a spot where Elizabeth could aid the other thunder dragon and it's rider. "My name is Altus and my rider is Elizabeth. We have come here to aid you." Altus swept his tail to the left and knocked down a few Hunters that had just gotten to their feet after the enormous attack that this strange new rider had launched. To say the least, both Elizabth and Altus were more than quite impressed. Elizabeth for one had never seen an attack such as that and would love to get her hands on the information to learn it.
Elizabeth had undone her feet straps only about forty seconds prior to landing then jumped from her perch on her companions back. She quickly rushed to the other riders side and placed a hand on his back and offered him a hand up. it was only then that she had seen his lack of two intact legs. She immediately had a shocked look on her face and was at a loss for words. Altus on the other hand was busy keeping any and all Hunters that were coming at them out of the equation so that this stranger and his dragon, as well as his own rider, were safe till they could figure something out.

  • OOC: Anemone_ since wuldraider hasn't said anything regarding his rider, might you have your characters find him unconscious and carry him to safety then go about freeing his dragon played by Lyra. It would be a sense of powerplaying but with the drop in activity I'm just worried about the thread in general. This is also my way of saying I'm still here guys, just waiting for greatbear to post so i can continue our character interactions.

  • [Alright then, I'll do what you suggested QuickStrike, but it will have to wait a bit since I am a bit bust at the moment. I really don't want this thread to die >.>]

  • (Alright...)

Blended into the background of the field, the onyx drake watching the current events carefully. She kept to the sidelines, keeping completely still in her arched position- all accept for her eyes, which constantly darted around from dragon to dragon, rider to rider, human to human. Thorn wanted to go out there, though she also wanted to day put, avoid from getting poisoned herself, and keep from getting Quip hurt as well.

  • Going to post even though my characters weren't really interacted with.

    Adara & Nimis

Nimis was still protecting Adara from the Hunters who had gathered around them, he had Adara stand against the rock they were hiding against, and he stood in front of her warding off the people who were getting closer. He continued to blow fire at the people who were coming, but they hardly seemed to care, their eyes were full of some sort of lust. Some were literally on fire as they ran at him. Leaping on him with spears and knives and swords. He roared in pain, trying to stop them getting to Adara, it was almost impossible to get in the air now, as they were getting covered in Hunters.

He wasn't a strong dragon compared to others, he hadn't been brought up by dragons or anyone who was any good with them. So his strength and powers weren't very good. He was trying his best to protect Adara but eventually there were too many. Adara screamed as some reached her, shoving her to the ground and beginning to brandish knives against her. Nimis turned and began to lash at them, furiously trying to protect her, in a last attempt he opened his mouth and grabbed Adara, sinking his teeth through some hunters, but managing to cradle the now bleeding and trembling girl in his mouth. With a few tries he managed to get into the air, flying not really anywhere but trying to get away, arrows flew up but he managed to dodge most of them.

His eyes looked around for somewhere to land where they wouldn't be hurt./

  • Quip hesitated beside his dragon, gripping his sword tightly. "We should get out there, do something, maybe not fight..." He pondered, beginning to ramble as his thoughts became a muddled mess. He desperately wanted to help, but the risk.... Shaking his head firmly, He came to a decision. "Doing something is better than nothing, what do you suggest?" He asked, glancing at Thorn with a questioning gaze.

Eva nodded, 'Something must be done, again, be careful.' She gripped her saddle tightly as they we're now right above the fight. Hunters lay scattered, dragons trapped and wounded and riders running about in confusion. It was a lot to take in.

Abigail had neared closer, watching as hunters trapped dragons, shot poison Aries etc, etc. There were many other humans that seemed nice enough, it was quite currious, though, as they were seemingly, riding dragons. Odd.

Dorthy had fallen back into unconciousness, letting herself relax under the other dragons head. They were going to help.
