OOC: there will be gaps in my time skip for active users to fill in, that way we can get an idea of whose still around and who needs to be in a coma.
Illium couldn't believe that everyone had made it out alive. As everyone was getting ready for a final push to break and scatter the hunters, the fighting just seemed to stop. The hunters backed off. Then canisters of gas were thrown from the shadows. Illium had quickly pulled up his winter scarf he wore over his mouth and nose. It had saved him, for many of the riders around him dropped to the ground unconscious. Dragons didn't seem to be as affected by the gas as humans and Illuim and those riders left standing had gotten the downed riders to the safety of their dragons and back into the air.
It was while they were leaving, that they noticed a young rider and dragon that had been caught up on the fringes of the conflict. They had been far enough away that they had avoided being affected by the gas, whatever it was, but they were hard pressed against a rock and surrounded by hunters. Illium and the those still awake had rushed into the fray to provide the young pair a chance to get into the air.
Now they were all in the air, making there way back towards the Blood-Bounds base. The supply mission had been scrubbed, and would be completed at a later date. They just had too many wounded to justify continuing the mission. Many of the riders needed to be treated for gas poisoning, though nobody would know how bad it was until they got to the Blood-Bounds infirmary.
Looking over Hirador, Illium noticed that the icy brute's scaly hide had been slashed in dozens of places. Scales hung loosely, while in other places they were missing entirely. His normal stark whiteness had been replaced with crimson. Hirador didn't complain though, in fact the bond was quite quiet. The gas had shocked them all. After the gas had been released, Hirador had fought with reckless abandon to keep the hunters away from the helpless riders while those still awake carried them to safety.
Looking around at those flying beside him, Illium couldn't help but feel ashamed. He had noticed the gas canisters and instantly acted to protect himself, he should have yelled out a warning. Though doing so would have caused him to inhale the gas. But as his gaze passed over the new pair he couldn't help but smile. It had taken a lot of coaxing to get them in the air and with the group, and one didn't have to know their story to know they had had a rough life. The girl was scarred worse than any fighter Illium had ever crossed blades with, and he hoped she would find a peaceful place among the Blood-Bound.

OOC: I want to apologise for my rubbish behaviour before, thanks for adding me in your post <3
Adara & Nimis
Everything had gone in a blur, Adara couldn't even remember what had happened, she remembered Nimis protecting her from people who were trying to kill them, she remembered some pain, heat from fire, some knife wounds, but Nimis had taken most of the damage for her, as usual. The small, scarred girl also remembered people coming to rescue them, and at first Nimis refused to get in the air with her, Adara had also been too scared to accept the offer of friendship from strangers, but more hunters had started to arrive, and they could faintly see and smell gas not far away, and so Adara managed to convince Nimis to get in the air. They didn't fly closely to the others, in fact they flew closer to the ground, Nimis was not a large fire dragon, he was young, only 15 years old, like Adara, and his wings were scarred and ripped in places, not from the fight that had just happened, but from a previous life. He was not a strong flier, but he would keep Adara safe till his dying breath if he had to, and she the same for him. He had a wary eye at the other dragons, he had scales missing, many scars again from a previous life but also from this fight just gone, he was sore, and ached everywhere, he was tired, and he could feel that Adara had next to no energy left, and that was draining his energy as well.
"Can we trust them Adara? We don't know who they are, and I've never seen fighters like these before..."
"I don't think we have much choice, I... I don't know if we can keep going on by ourselves Nimis, I can't look after you... I'm too weak.. and all I've done is bring you pain."
Nimis puffed out smoke in protest to her thoughts, he didn't believe that at all, and she knew that, she just felt bad for the state at which he was in, and he felt bad for the state she was in. Adara started to feel drowsy, she hadn't had much sleep recently, the fight had drained her, and who knows what else she had been through, she tried to keep her eyes open, but soon her body slumped across Nimis' back as she let her eyes closed, she was small, so luckily she had a lot of room on Nimis' back, though he was also a small dragon, anyone could tell by looking at the dragon that he was worried, his eyes would roll back to look at her, and he flew shakily, though steadily, afraid, but careful to keep her on his back. -
Just wanted y'all to know I'm alive and here and I'll make a post at a later date! Sorry for my inactivity on this thread!

Sorry I've been gone so long guys but I've been stressing myself half into a coma as I've been given the opportunity to set up an eco school at a local 100-year old park in the town near where I live so I've been busy with a business plan and research etc etc etc.... I swear I've got a dozen grey hairs and you two will understand the stress I'm under with info-overload.... I'll respond as much as I can though...

That's actually sounds really cool, good luck with the eco school.

Gaia rumbled softly as she beat her wings, still relying on a guide for her left side. The acid that had landed on her armor had burned her badly, and as she gazed down at the war helmet grasped in her talons, she could see that most of the metal around the eye had been melted away, leaving the steel warped and discolored.
Reaching in front of herself again, she used another mountain top to push herself forward, keeping herself aloft.
