Cloudchaser followed right after the Alpha, keeping up with the sounds of his paws against the forest floor. His white ears were perked up and alert, helping him detect any and every sound that was made. Cloud was grateful for his senses as they helped him move about greatly though he still missed seeing the scenery, sometimes he found it best to imagine what it looks like through the sounds he heard. He breathed in the scents of the wolves that were with them, smelling Cast in the front with the small pup behind himself, Stormchill, and the faint smell of Magnus behind them. He made sure to keep note of Magnus’ scent, lest he would have to scold him for improper actions. He also kept note of the pup with them, it still bothered him the idea of a bird stealing the little guy away and even more so of how the pup realized it could happen to him. “Don’t wish for such things as flying, if you see a Hawk or any other large birds of prey, go underneath us. It’s a sad sight to see and you wouldn’t want your life to end in such means.” Cloud commented lowly as he had seen pups stolen by vultures and other birds. If anything he was glad there were others to keep watch of the loud pup.
Sky sniffed around the camp, avoiding the area that Venus had scampered off to and instead went over to other wolves. He enjoyed talking to them and listening to his fellow pack mates as they spoke. He could see the forms of Heaven, Cryptic, and Rain that were left to guard the pack. He first decided to approach Heaven, as he saw her as a kind wolf. He felt comfortable around her and liked to see how she and her pup were doing. He knew he heard both pups go off on separate duties and as a mother she must be worried. He bounded over to the female wolf and nodded his head at her as he greeted her. “Hello, Heaven. How are you?” Being at camp with the remaining wolves was the only time he was really social with the others. Though they were always brief moments it still meant a lot to him. Other times he would spend it with himself and the Great Alpha.
Rain watched as Whitecaster and the others left, taking the omega with them. With everyone gone it was much easier to realize how small their pack was. With such low numbers left to remain at guard duty, they would have to keep alert though nothing rarely happened. She resigned herself to scouting about the territory of the camp for any weird scents that might have approached. As she did so she saw Sage run out the den, she wasn’t sure how the wolf managed to sleep in but she did appear lost.
