  • Kamari was actually curious in the answers that many came up with, believing the herb to be poisonous. It was wonderful actually, since it would give her the opportunity to explain the differences between toxic and nontoxic herbs. "A lot of you are close! This is actually comfrey, but it can easily be mistaken for two poisonous plants - nightshade and foxglove," she began to explain. "Comfrey is normally used to soothe wounds, or can even help mend broken bones. The difference between the herbs though, is that the leaves of nightshade face outward, and foxglove has a bunch of visible seeds inside." It was kind of interesting though, since comfrey looks as if it could be the mix between nightshade and foxglove - which could get confusing.

"Any questions before I move on?"

Iselotta felt a gnaw of uncertainty at the back of her neck as the rest of her Clanmates swore that this plant was toxic, eyeing it with a slight hesitation as she tried to figure out if there were any clues for that fact. Anything that looked particularly... sinister about it. But her ears flicked back up as Kamari spoke with her eyes going a tiny bit wide at the answer. She had been right? Her back straightened as she felt a tiny bit of pride. It had been a rather uneducated guess, going off of clues of the plant alone; the rather daintiness of it, but she listened with intrigue as she gave a further explanation. The flower even had a cute name. Comfery. Comfort for soothing.

Though, as Kamari continued to explain the differences between the poisonous plants and this tiny plant of comfort, she couldn't help but tilt her head curiously as she gave the leaves of the pink flower some further consideration. Foxglove had seeds- that'd be easy enough to remember, but leaves that faced outward? She had a bit of issue trying to picture it at first, without any context of the other plant, but she hoped that, if they were quizzed on it later, she might be able to draw on that knowledge. It was good to know.

Questions? Well, she supposed she had one, but she didn't know if it was silly or not... But what was the harm? "I am curious, Mademoiselle... Are Nightshade and Foxglove also pink? Are there more differences between them, or are they all really so alike?" If it were the later, she was glad she was learning it now. It might prove to be valuable information later to keep herself, or someone else, from accidental harm.

Comfrey? Mack tilted his head as Kamari explained the interesting herb, noting its uses. He stashed that into his mental notes, knowing that in a pinch, he could grab some of that herb. He listened as Lottie questioned the color of the herb, perhaps concerned that the similarities would mean they would get the two mixed up. Concerned as well, he nodded, looking up at the medic.

  • ...Çelina

Now that Kami mentioned it, Çelina could remember hearing about the herb before. It wasn't one she had focused on a lot, though, which was likely why it slipped her mind. Also, she'd never got around to learning what the herb looked like, but perhaps she should start. Still, she had a question. "You apply it directly to the wound, right?" Perhaps she was wrong, but that was what made the most sense to her. While waiting for Kami's reply, she did her best to internationalize what the medic had said. If there was ever a time her memory needed to work properly, it was now. There were two plants that could end up killing someone if mistaken for the comfrey.

Comfrey. Leaning forward, the pale kitten would memorize the appearance of the small flower. So it was for soothing wounds? Comfrey did sound a bit like comfey, that will be easy to remember. As for the appearance, he'll have to quiz himself quite a bit to actual remember what it looks like. It was going to be a difficult job, especially since Kamari did state that it was similar in appearance to two other poisonous flowers. Mie did not have any questions, mostly because Lottie had asked what he had been wondering. Per usual, the ragdoll would stay quiet and attentive.
