silver turns on his heels and runs back the other way, chasing down ky's slightly fading aura. it seems the other hedgehog is critically injured from the plane crash. silver pushes through the underbrush to find ky on the bank of a river, passed out and barely breathing.
"ky!" silver yelps, dashing to ky's side. "ky are you alright?"
he skitters to a halt and drops to his knees, shaking ky desperately.
"buddy, can you hear me?!"

Scrap tried to follow, but Mortimer stamped his paw on the cub's tail. "I've got enough on my plate keeping watch over you." he told him. "I don't need you running off again."

"he needs to learn not to be so brash....." Icy sighed not too happy at silver need to go back.

"At least Braveheart does it for good reasons. He may not show it much, but he cares very much for his Team." Mortimer said, putting more weight on his paw when he felt Scrap's tail begin to slip in the cub's endeavors to chase after his friend. He turned and gently cuffed him over the ear. "Enough of that." "But I want to help Venice!" Scrap squeaked. "You're too small, and the last thing i need to be doing at my age is running after a hyperactive cub with clouds for brains." the old gray warrior returned.

Icy kneel next to the cub, "he'll be back, don't worry"

"I hope so." Scrap whimpered.

Braveheart neared the castle, feeling his heart pounding harder and harder in his chest until he thought they could hear it back at the Base. This is for my family. he thought, baring his teeth. My family, my Team, and my lost Teammates. he glanced at the stars above his head.

silver shakes ky again, fear clutching at his heart.
"ky, c'mon, you gotta wake up!" he yelps. "you're not allowed to be dead! not on my watch!"

Ky woke up, slightly groggy and blood still seeping from his wounds. He looked up, saw Silver, and begun to drift before his brain woke him up. "Ow, that hurts... you know..." He cringed at the pain, and began to quiet down for a bit. Looking at silver, he gave him his own medicine with the trademarked Silver grin. "I don't understand, how am I still alive? I mean, i lost so much blood..." Ky shook his head. it was another moment when he remembered something that was sealed off long ago, not by himself. He was in a tank, healing or being made, and heard the water running in the tank. He grabbed his head, the pain intensified, and remembered just a voice.

"Open your eyes."

silver, recognizing the grin, lets out a puff of air in the form of a laugh. he shuts himself up moments later as he begins to check out ky's wounds. he can tell that the other hedgehog is starting to slip away again.
"i don't know how you're alive, but you're gonna have to stay with me here," silver informs him.
he bites his lip thoughtfully, before seeming to perk up.
"my mom, of course!" he exclaims. "she has healing abilities! if you can stay awake, i bet she can fix you up,

Taking a deep breath, Braveheart entered. He crouched down, slinking forward. He could almost imagine Lucas and Shamar directly behind him at his tail, followed by Rokky and Lerry. Those days are over. Braveheart lamented, shaking his head as he continued.

Ky laughed weakly, trying to ward off the cold. He looked at Silver, and nodded at him for the plan. "I think I have just enough energy left to do a Travel.." Ky coughed up more blood, and tried to stand on incredibly shaky legs.

"no, no, that's not happening," silver says in an almost fatherly tone. "i can take you to her. i don't want you to hurt yourself more than you already have. at least let me help you."
he slips an arm under ky's shoulder and helps him to his feet.

Ky looks at him, with anticipated eyes. He knew that was going to happen, so he looked at Silver and thanked him. Next was the harder part. He attempted walking but all that came out was a limp and a stagger back down on his knees. His legs felt like they would explode any second, but he kept walking forward, letting Silver guide him.

silver lowers his eyes sympathetically, feeling bad for letting ky walk. he knows the other hedgehog wouldn't want him to baby him around, but he isn't gonna let him get more hurt. he places his free hand behind his back and his palm begins to glow with a turquoise aura. the aura also appears around ky's legs, taking some of the weight off his legs without making it too obvious.

Braveheart snuck past some guards, making sure to hide his white underbelly and tail tip so that he wasn't as obvious. White fur stood out much more in the darkness than the rest of his russet-red pelt or his dark paws and ears.

Ky felt his weight split, and looked towards Silver. He put a painfully obvious glare on, as if Silver wasn't even trying to hide it. "You know, I'm not stupid. You could at least try harder to disguise it." He scowled, and held onto Silver closely. "Brace yourself, (Winter's coming) It's gonna be fast." He used the Travel to speed things up, and teleported to Silver's mom.

"disguise wh-"
silver is cut off as his body is suddenly jerked forward. for a moment he can't feel anything, then, he is back with the group, between icy and thorn.
"whoa-ho, what was that?" he exclaims, out of breath.
he shakes his head, remembering why he's here.
"mom! ky is hurt bad! d'ya think you can help him?" he calls to icy.

(The site where I'm watching Sonic X has a sister site of sorts{called KissCartoon}, and it has Disney Movies, complete with the sequels, life is good. I can now repeatedly watch The Little Mermaid 2, The Lion King 2 and the second Aladdin movie. These are my favorite sequels{along with 101 Dalmatians 2}. My grandparents used to own The Lion King 2 and the first Aladdin sequel on VHS, my family currently owns 101 Dalmatians 2 on DVD, and I first saw The Little Mermaid 2 on TV and LOVED IT!)

Scrap yipped happily, freeing his tail from Mortimer's weight and shooting forward to greet his friend. Mortimer sighed, padding toward them to make sure the excited cub didn't overwhelm Silver and his injured companion.

Braveheart continued to sneak around. He contemplated getting answers about his goal, but thought against it. If he attacked a guard, chances are that when he let them go, they would reveal his presence and Shadow would order an immediate manhunt for him. And maybe capture someone close to me. He thought with a low, angry growl.

"hey champ," silver greets scrap, patting the little fox on the head. "i'm gonna have to put you on hold, ky is really hurt and needs help."
he looks back up at icy, his eyebrows upturned in a pleading frown.

Icy looked unsure, but rolled her eyes and walked over, "where are they injured?"
