  • [center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]again, today was freezing. willowbreeze was shocked by the weather, it never gets this cold. his thick fur always protects him from the harsh winds of leaf-bare, but this time around it was colder than he ever remembered it being. one thing that worried him was that is was almost newleaf, and the weather had not eased up for them. this could mean less fresh kill for the clan, which could lead to many issues. willowbreeze sighed and turned his gaze to the sky, watching the clouds move slowly across the blue horizon. he often got lost, watching the sky. his mind tended to wander about on slow days like these, he'd just sit and watch the sky or watch the leaves in the trees move with the wind. though often distracted, it did not affect his ability as a warrior. he was strong and skillful for a young warrior, his sole purpose being the protection of his clan.

willowbreeze pulled himself from his thoughts. again, he had lost himself in thinking. he quietly cursed himself for being so scatterbrained. he stretched his body, yawning. he needed to be productive, do something the clan needs. he pondered on ideas, one idea sounding better than the other and then another sounds better than that one. he shook his head, cursing himself again. he gave a small sigh, looking back at the sky. maybe he should just wander around until he was called upon. he decided that would be the best idea, as he didn't want to do something unneeded and cause trouble instead of helping.

  • [center][fancypost=borderwidth; width: 400px; padding: 0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 12px; font-size: 7pt]stag had always hated the cold, mostly because they weren't exactly built like the other long haired felines around here and their short fur often made it hard to want to go out and do anything during this time of the year. they knew it would be rather unproductive to try and hide away like some animal and to sleep the entire winter away as if it had never happened but on days like these they truly wished they could; it would save them the torture of moving while their body shook and wobbled. it was worse now, more so because it was so close to newleaf and they didn't understand why the cold so viciously held onto them - it hadn't been the worst they had seen but it still should not be overlooked especially if it continued to persist in the way it did. the prey would surely sleep longer and the clan would continue with their lowered amount of prey which would likely not be a good thing, no, no, it for sure would not be a good thing. stag wasn't exactly sure what they could do to help fix said situation - they had always been rather... useless. from the moment they became an apprentice they had never really contributed too much; they had been too busy escaping into the forest to hunt on their own and live among the trees rather than play nice with the other members. they had been frail in both body and mind and where wolfnose and cherryt-err, adderstar had excelled in what they did, stag had fallen so terribly far behind it had no even been funny. given their warrior name only because they had gotten too old to continue training as an apprentice, how pathetic. they let out another sigh as their mind flipped through memories, picked and prodded at both the cold biting at their pelt and the lostness of their mind.

stag was lost in their mind more times than not, they'd simply stopped trying to not fall victim to their wandering thoughts and twisted ideas; what was the point in fighting something that you could not win against? stag's mind was stronger than them, so much stronger, and if it wished to run off on thought then there was nothing stag could do to really stop it. it left them in a often dazed state, traveling across the territory as if they were following something unknown - even to them. it was what they usually spent their day doing, their nights as well, as even when in a state of unawareness their mind still wanted to be up and about and they had found themselves waking in places where they knew they had not fallen asleep in. it was a strange feeling but one that they had grown used to after so much time doing such; they let out a huff at that thought, amused by how used they had grown to be so lost in the waking world - they blinked a few times before shaking their head to at least make an attempt at clearing their cluttered mind. it worked, somewhat, and the fuzziness that had previously clouded their vision began to clear as the took a moment to glance at their surroundings. they were momentarily confused before their heart slowed down as recognition settled in and a familiar pelt made itself known. willowbreeze... or something like that, stag wasn't the best with names and while they were trying they knew they were bound to make mistakes here and there. they shifted slightly before deciding to move towards the other clan cat, head down as they moved to stand beside the wandering feline. "hello." quiet as ever, they spoke softly as to keep the other from spooking as they kept a slow pace alongside him.

  • [center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]willowbreeze had just gotten up from his spot and began wandering when the older feline had made his way beside him. he perked his ears up, hearing the faint "hello" come from the other. he turned his gaze to them, his mind calming down for a bit. "oh, hello stagspirit. pretty cold today, huh? i'm usually pretty good in this weather, but it's getting through to me today..." he spoke softly, as he did not want to intimidate his acquaintance. he could tell the other was freezing, as they were shivering as they followed him. he didn't want to say anything about it, but was worried nonetheless. though they were not close to each other, willow enjoyed the other's presence when they decided to pop up every once in a while. he liked that they were difference than the rest of the clan, more timid yet more wise, he felt. again, his mind was wandering. the tom pushed his thoughts away, redirecting his attention to stag once again.
