  • Emily paused. The scent of her mother and sister filled her nose. Knowing this couldn't be real, knowing that she didn't sleep next to her family anymore, the lilac point stood abrubtly, shaking moss and feathers from her pelt.

Her dream was calm, just the pitter patter of tiny raindrops on the den roof. "Starlight? Trellis?" She poked her sister and her mother with a white paw, just to make sure she was dreaming. Yep. They disintegrated right before her eyes. "Starlight! Mom!"

Emily backed away carefully, hoping not to disturb the other cats in what looked like a nursery of some sort. Would they disappear if she touched them too? Emily stuck out a paw to the nearest pregnant queen. Gone. Yep.

Where am I? She wondered, worry filling her eyes.

Emily jolted awake, confused by her meaningless dream. "Starlight?" She called, even though she was not at very good terms with her sister.

  • The large, muscular thunderclanner padded along the empire of Tufani land. He felt uneasy about being this close to the tribes border, but he figured he must get home as quickly as possible. He had been at the Tekhniclan festival, hoping it would give him something to do.. but now he was on his way back, and a little lost at that. Fog covered most of the ground, making his soft Australian Mist coat nearly blend in. he wanted to shake the eery feeling from his paw's, but he knew it wouldn't help. He could be thought of as a ghost, his bright, other worldly eyes and charming, physique. Twitching the tip of his tail, he swiveled his head in search of something that shouldn't belong.

  • Before her sister had a chance to answer, Emily turned away. "Nevermind. Forget it." She passed her tongue over a small white paw. "I don't need you." She muttered one last sentence under her breath, the words bringing back painful memories.

"Momma!" Emily cried, eager for her mother's praise and attention. "Momma?" She turned around, spotting her almost identical sister, Starlight, cuddling near Trellis. "Momma!" The lilac point called, smiling. As she approached Trellis Sili, though, her mother just whisked her away with a flick of the tail.

"Stay away, Emily. We don't want your disease." She scolded.

"What?" Emily asked, afriad of what she might say. But Trellis didn't answer.

  • OCC: I guess I can just jump in. I'm playing Trelis.

Trelis hissed at Emily. "You heard me! Now get back before you wake Starlight." She turned her back on Emily to nuzzle Starlight softly.

  • ooc || PurpleJewel, just to let you know, that writing was a memory of Emily's. Starlight and her sister are older now.

ic || Rain pattered the den up top.

  • ooc || Haha, well, it's in real-time, but Emily is just remembering what happened.
