He chuckles, placing a hand on her belly. "Well then, why don't I make you something to eat? Feed you and our baby."

"That would be lovely Cross. I'm sure we'd both love whatever wonderful breakfast you make." she purred, beginning to loosen her tail so that he could get out without any problems.

Giving her one last kiss, he got up. Cross heads to the kitchen to cook her a simple meal of pancakes, hash browns and bacon.

Rose smiled as he gave her a kiss and then went to make breakfast for the two of them. She sat up and let herself slowly start to fully wake up. She made her tail turn to legs and carefully got out of bed, putting on a little house rob to keep her warm.

By the time she finally arrived to the living room, breakfast was ready to eat. "Food's ready whenever you are." He chirped, smiling as he plated her some food.

"I'm ready~" she purred and sat down to eat. She happily ate the morning meal until she and the little one were both full.

He chuckles, eating his own serving before finding the food he made for them all were gone. "I must've done a good job." He said happily as he cleaned up the dishes before going back to her side. "Ready for presents?"

She blushed a little, "Yes, it was delicious." she compliment and made her she had nothing on her face by wiping it with a napkin. She stood up and smiled, "Of course I'm ready. I'm so excited to give you your gift." she purred happily.

"Well then, let's begin." He chirped, beaming as he led her to their small tree where there were a few gifts.

Rose smiled and followed him to the tree, trying to decide if she wanted him to open her gift First.. or Last.

Either way, his reaction to the gift will be positive. Cross bends down to pick up a small box and handed it to Rose. "It's for you." Inside the box is a lovely promise ring. While he could've gotten an engagement ring, he wanted to wait a bit before they have to think about marriage (that and he figured their money could be used towards both the baby and the trip to Japan that Rose has been wanting to do).

Rose blushed lightly as she carefully undid the ribbon and unwrapped the small box. She hesitated in opening it, giving Cross a short glance before finally doing so. She cooed automatically upon opening, "Aww, it's gorgeous Cross." she said, blushing. She carefully took the ring out of the box and got a better look at it.

"It's a promise ring Rose." He murmured, smiling while he watches her admire the ring. "I considered getting you an engagement ring but then I remembered that the money for a ring like that could be used for our baby and that trip to Japan I know you want to do."

She smiled, "I love it Cross." she said and gave him a hug, "And you know you don't have to give me a fancy engagement ring, any gift from you, I'll cherish for the rest of my life." she said and kissed his cheek. "Now your turn!~" she purred, pulling away.

He chuckles, smiling. "Which one should I grab love?" He asked, looking through the few that are still there

She hummed as she looked at the presents, grabbing one and giving it to him, "How about this one?" she said with a loving smile, it was a thinner present and didn't look like it contained much.

He glanced at her for a moment before slowly taking off the wrapping paper to see what's inside.
