She watched him, "Ah, uhm what are you drinking?" She questioned curiously. She would go off to mingle eventually once she got settled in the environment.

She thought for a moment, "Hmm, I'll go for the weak wine." She smiled s little, "Maybe I'll try some of that later tonight." She said

He nods and asked the bartender to pour a glass of wine for Rose before handing it to her. "Here you are."

She smiled and took the glass, "Thanks." She said before taking a small sip. "Huuh. It's... interesting." She said and looked st the glass in her hands.

"How does it taste to you?" He asked, drinking his scotch.

She took another sip. "It's good, I don't know how to describe the taste but I've never tasted snything like it," she laughed a little

"I've had wine before so I'm pretty sure I know what you've tasted there. Wine is not for me though. I prefer scotch and certain beer."

She nodded a little, "Ah, guess wine is more subtle then other kinds?" She asked

"It's more depending on what you prefer. Some prefers wine while others would prefer vodka. Now that's some strong stuff."

"Right, that goes for anything really." She said and smiled, "Well I'm going to go mingle so people know I'm here." She said and turned from and walked away to a group of coworkers. "Hey guys, I made it." She said, a little nervous since some of the people in the group she didn't know

Celia happened to be one as she is a rather tall woman with chocolate brown hair and icy blue eyes. While they didn't meet face to face before hand, they have chatted a bit in the elevator. "Rose! You look absolutely stunning!" She chimed, taking the other woman's hands. "It's me, Celia. We've spoke in the elevator."

She widened her eyes a little in surprise, "O-oh! Why thank you" she said with a blushing smile. "I just hope I didn't overdo it." She said, not one for being the center of attention. "You look nice too"

"Why thank you~, my girlfriend seems to agree." She chuckles. "I think you did just enough my friend. It is a formal event after all, even if it doesn't seem like it."

"Oh I didn't know you had a girlfriend, did you bring her here?" She asked. She wasn't familiar with gay people besides that there were a good amount in college. She took another small sip of her drink.

"She's around here somewhere, probably being flirty with everyone she talks to." She said, glancing behind Rose to see her girlfriend flirting with the bartender as she got drinks.

"Oh?" She questioned, "She's sounds fun." She giggled and little and smiled. "I, personally, have never really been one for dating. Parents were a little strict."

"You're an adult now so you should have the freedom to date and put yourself out there Rose. My parents and I don't even speak anymore because me being gay is like a disease that needs to be cured for them. No point in trying to convince them otherwise."

Ic Rose listened, "Yea, I'm just not sure about how I can 'put myself out there'." She said with a small shrug, she wasn't in any rush. "But that's a shame with your parents." She understood why they'd think that but she would never do that if she was a parent.

"I'm sure you can figure out a way. Everyone is different when it comes to dating. You could potentially do online dating, letting someone set you up for a blind date or simply ask out someone you're interested in," she said with a small smile.
