  • ❝ luna noctcaligo — warlord, healer ❞

Luna was in pain, the beginnings of a raging headache pounding on her skull. How they managed to defeat the demon was still a partial mystery to her but the rush of victory was in her veins, mingling with the tiredness that settled heavily for in her bones. Her use of magic seemed to burned her life force away until she was a hollow body

Golden eyes flickered over to Victorianpaw, the wolf's words faint but the tiger could understand the meaning of them. The fury in her stomach burned bright, her face morphing into one of utter disbelief.

"Quite child!" Luna snapped, "you know nothing of war and strate-" her words of rage melted into the air, slurring together until she couldn't speak so she began to stumbling towards the cub. Heavy legs buckled and Luna's golden eyes rolled back into her skull as she laid motionless at the feet of the advisor.

  • Has Jonathan ever mentioned his hatred towards Cipher? For those who did not know, Cipher had drugged him months ago and did absolutely horrible things to him. They were acts that Jonathan would never forgive. Even if Cipher somehow legitimately apologized for what he did, Jonathan wouldn't give him the forgiveness he would hope to receive. Cipher would never deserve forgiveness, for what he did could not be fixed with a simple 'I'm sorry'. "Everyone," The wolf would growl with aggravation, as he quickly padded into the scene, "stop!"

"We will not be keeping Cipher as a capture. Not once in WindClan have we allowed captures, and I am especially not bending the rules for him," The timber wolf would say with rather disgust, as he looked over towards Cipher. "I want Cipher out of here as soon as possible," He added on, as he glanced towards the unconscious body of Bill Cipher. Surely if they kept him, the Cartel would fight back for their leader, and they wouldn't stop until they got him. Actually, they probably would continue to bother them for weeks, and the wolf would rather not have that. He had enough of the Cartel and Bill Cipher.

At the sound of his leader's growl, Atticus cowered away in fear, ears flattening against his skull and his tail curling between his legs submissively. He immediately regretted his suggestion, it was idiotic of him to think in such a manner, he should've followed everyone else's opinions. Hearing the commands given by Jonathan, the veteran nodded in comprehension before speaking in a voice that was hushed from the way he felt taken aback.
"Y-yes sir, s-sorry, sir." He dipped his head respectfully over to his superior before sending a glare towards Cipher's way. "Who's going to take him back?"

Takumi's eyes widened as Luna collapsed, wondering if the summoning had done that much of a number on her. He turned to Jekyll. "Uh... do you mind helping her out?" he asked the medic softly, aware of their dislike for each other. But she was a clanmate and she needed help.

As Jonathan appeared, the boy blinked in disbelief, a tight frown pressed to his lips. "But-!" he began to protect before stopping himself and taking a breath. He flattened his ears, choosing his words carefully for once. "Jonathan, if you don't mind, I think we'd be missing out on a golden opportunity by letting him go. It's not everyday that we have the leader of The Cartel in our paws. We don't even have to lay a claw on him. Could we at least interrogate him and then let him go..? He's in a very weak state right now. He'd also make a great bargaining chip; we could return him to The Cartel in exchange for some sort of truce. Just think about it."

    Oliver Queen-Stark
    "The Arrow"

No, this was all wrong. As much as Oliver wanted to kill Bill for all the trouble he'd caused, and will no doubt cause in the future, Windclan wasn't the clan to do it.

"We are not the Cartel, and we do not stoop to their level," he explained to Takumi. "And there is no 'bargaining' with the Cartel. They'd tell us to either give him back, or face relentless raids." As right as it felt to execute one so horrible, this whole situation felt wrong.

  • "I don't think we'll be missing a 'golden opportunity' if we let him go," Jonathan would respond to Takumi, frowning as he looked over at the Advisor. "There would be no point in keeping him here. That would only cause a war between the Cartel and WindClan. And besides, this is Cipher we're talking about. He's an out of control demon that purely enjoys causing others pain. He wouldn't listen to any of us for a minute if we attempted to interrogate him."

"And there is no possible way a truce would work. You need to think about it for a second, do you really think the Cartel would be willing to have a truce with us, in exchange for their leaders return? I highly doubt they would even think of making a truce for that, as they would probably be pissed that their leader got captured by an enemy. And if somehow they miraculously agreed to a truce, they wouldn't stay true to their word, the Cartel cannot be trusted," The timber wolf would explain with a rather serious tone, before glancing at Oliver with a nod.

"My word is final, we will not be keeping Cipher as a capture," The former human would say, with an aggravated sigh.

Little nose crinkling slightly as her clanmates began to turn on her again, the white-furred wolf felt her ears flick back at another one of Luna's explosive outbursts before her head tilted to the side at the tigress's sudden slurring halt. "Luna?" murmured the advisor softly, taking a few swift steps forward as her brow furrowed in concern, gently pressing her nose against the tigress' shoulder. What the-? Seeing her clanmates now begin to argue with Jonathan instead of her, Victorianpup ignored the matter, given that Johnny had already made his decision, and instead focused on the sudden way Luna had collapsed.

Takumi frowned. To be honest, he very much would've preferred to kill the Cartellian, right then and there. An arrow to the head would probably do the trick, seeing as he was unable to hop bodies. But his clanmates wouldn't allow that if they didn't even allow captures. He shuffled his paws. "I just don't see how handing them over is going to help," he muttered, mostly to himself. If anything, it would make them look weak. He sighed. "If that's your decision, then could I help bring him back, at least?"
