OOC: hahaa sorry I'm doing these in such short chunks I think i'm coming down with something I've got a fever now

IC: Someone walked into the cafe, tired. His tall figure first seemed intimidating, but the kind smile of Johan Lee revealed just the opposite. He considered over his options, breathing short and light.

  • // I'm thinking about making a brother for Percy if that's alright? I had meant to do it sooner but completely forgot.

Percy woke to the sound of her alarm blaring. She reached out from under her blankets and slammed the side of her fist on the device. It shut up quickly. She should get off her butt and get ready. But, God, was she comfortable. Percy just wanted to roll over and try to go back to sleep. She had spent much of the night engrossed in a book, too busy to notice how late the time was getting. By the time she finally did curl up and go to sleep it was already five in the morning. Not her brightest moment, and she was defiantly going to hate herself for it later, but she'd probably do it again. She squeezed her green eyes shut, the dark circled beneath her eyes seemed ten times darker with the assistance of smudged day old makeup. She should really get into the habit of taking it off before bed. It was just so much more effort than Percy wanted to put in. And yesterday's makeup can be today's makeup if you tried hard enough.

  • // Thank you! I'm just gonna type a quick thing up for him while I've got the chance.

Jason returned from his morning jog to hear the alarm clock being beaten. His paused a moment, listening to the grumbling that followed before sneaking into the small kitchen of their tiny apartment. He knew his sister had been up half the night, they shared the single bedroom after all. When he went out for his jog she was just crawling under the covers. Honestly, he wasn't that surprised. He gave his shoulders a soft shrug at the thought and busied himself with making breakfast and coffee. He was the oldest, he had to make sure she ate at least.

  • Sapphire sighed as she watched the four teens begin to set up the inside of the tent. Although it was their first time in this city, it was a scary experience not only for the kids, but for her as well. "Sapphire we finished setting it up! Looks as good as the Queen herself!" Lucas called out quite loud in his heavy English accent. The 18 year old was usually a bit out a loud mouth, and didn't seem like he came from some posh English family with a maternal German side, yet apparently he did. And even worse is that he looked nothing like an ice skater in training. If anything he resembled some British punk that did all sorts of bad things, such as underage smoking, drugs, drinking, and who knows what else. Especially with those darn piercings covering his ears and chin, and those ripped up clothes he had! Sapphire sighed while she began to hear on into the tent, James coming out with a tired and cold look. After all, the poor 17 year old was wearing a tank top in chilly, early morning weather. "Stupid cold weather...Knew I should've grabbed a jacket..." Sapphire began to set up the table inside, smiling while she took a seat on the opposite side. "Now to wait..."

In Character : Kim & Dai
    ~_~_~
Kim was, of course, perched proudly on the counter next to the cash register. She'd tied the cafe's signature, blue-feather-patterned bandanna around her neck and thrown her pair of sunglasses up on her head amidst the mess of silvery-brown locks. Her bright eyes surveyed the empty cafe, taking in the cabin-like asthetic of the place before turning to look back at her four or so coworkers. "We all ready to go?"

After a nod of confirmation from them all, Kim happily watched as Dainan flipped the "We're Closed" sign over to "We're Open!" before writing out a "Pets Welcome" on the chalkboard sign next to the door. Of course, Dai was quick to shuffle inside and take up residence by the counter where his dog was lying down on the other side. The duo (and dog, technically. Wyd brought in a lot of revenue for being so fluffy and cute) had been working there since Dai graduated, and because Kim was the manager, she had been able to win a battle to allow pets inside (she loved it when the landlady would bring her cat during lunch hours). They were across from a park too, so anyone who'd been out in the chilly weather was welcome to bring their furry friends (or human friends too) inside for a warm drink and a snack. Kim was pretty darn proud of the work she'd put into the cafe, and Dai had thanked her for it plenty of times. Especially since now they could bring his service dog Wydygan to work, and even her iguana Lemon during the hot summers.

Hearing the ding of the doors open accompanied by the bark of Wyd, Kim looked over and smiled at the man who walked in. "Good morning!~" she sang cheerily, waving to him before sliding off the counter. "Welcome to Bluebird Cafe! How can we help ya on this fine day?"

IC: "Wow, you are sure cheery." Johan let himself a constricted chuckle, pondering still, "Sorry, My mind isn't the best in the mornings...Just a coffee, please? Hm, Lisa(One of the members of the retirement home) might want something..." the last part was muttered.

Across the little square she went. Ji-Yoon stopped to looked at this little tent being set up, and decided...'I'll take that risk.' She has some extra money for once, maybe a reading would do something. So, she approached, "When do you think this will be entirely set up?" a brow rose in question, her purple hair falling over her shoulders, accentuating the fact that her eyes...really shouldn't be that green.

  • Sapphire peered up from the wooden table she sat at, looking a bit surprised with how a customer had already shown up while they were in the middle of the process of fixing up the inside of the tent. "Oh uh well... We have to set up some things in here, but if you want a reading now I can do it for you." The older woman said while motioning for the purple haired woman to sit on the chair opposite of the wooden table which sat horizontally. Sapphire kept an eye on this... Odd looking woman, especially with how odd she appeared with purple hair and super green eyes.

  • Kadisa
He rose slowly, and got up and dressed sluggishly. The late twenties male noted the text message on his phone, but didn't look at it until he was ready.
'There's a weird tent in the square. I'm going to go check it out.'
he didn't need to reply, so he just sent a 'k' in reply.

James got shoes and a jacket on, all matching his original outfit, and went outside. It was a short trek to the town square, where he usually found some interesting things. James looked at the women near the tent, and decided that was his interesting thing for the time being, and pulled out his phone, pretending to play on the dark screen as his gaze truly watched the others. He was trying to get noticed, obviously.

IC: The young lady paused, "well, I can wait. It's still early, I wasn't expecting you to be set up already." she delivered a smile, "do you need any help?" she cocked her head nicely.

  • Sapphire
Sapphire shrugged at the young, purpled haired lady. "We just need to put up a few more trinkets and make it look more mysterious if you catch my... What do kids call it, my drift?" She questioned, an annoyed sounding groan coming from Lucas in the distance while James was trying to hold back his low giggles. "But it would be a great help if you could so uh..." Sapphire got up and picked up one of the boxes and opened it up for the young lady kindly.

    Corina/Cory
Outside a couple feet away from the tent, Cory was just looking around at the city with a bored gaze, once in awhile messing with her short black hair that she had put up in a small ponytail. Although it was early, already a customer had come to Sapphires oddball business where she would read your fortune like reading a fortune slip from a Chinese cookie. It was like a guess of sorts, but at least the tent caught city folks eyes and was unique. Cory though stopped with her sky gazing as she noticed another person passing by while their phone out, messing around with it. "That's... Odd..." She muttered while watching him closely with her tired brown eyes, occasionally peering away to see James talking with Emilia about some violin shop he had found on his phone.

  • If he heard the comment, James Merrio didn't show it. He continued to play with his phone, jumping considerably when it rang. He answered it, and proceeded to converse in a different language.

Kadisa continued to go about his day, and eventually, reluctantly, left the building to go to work. On the way, he passed the little cafe, and glanced inside at Johan. He knew the large man, more because of what he was than anything about personal acknowledgement.

  • Cory had tried to ignore him, yet she just couldn't shake off thst uncomfortable feeling that he wasnt really well... Normal, per say. Like something just made her feel off when looking at him, that is, until Lucas swung an arm around her shoulders out of nowhere and make a cheeky comment. "Whoahoho that guy looks cute. Got an eye for him eh Cory?" He asked a little too loudly, which caused Cory to scowl. "Lucas knock it off. And don't say that out loud!" She told him while grabbing the thin Brits arm and pulling it off from her shoulders.
