  • :) Indeed! I'll be putting my typing skills to the test as well! I don't have a computer to access currently, so I'll be typing from a phone instead!
Not to be rude Alastoris, but are you by chance Irish like your character? Not to pry or anything :3

OOC: Let's go, then...I'm bad at first posts like this so...Huh. Only doing Ahera for this because listening to Lamb's She Walks is giving me his inspiration(X)

IC: The sun glistened off of skyscrapers as it rose, leaving the glass and metal shining in one's eyes. The cool morning air foreshadowed the coming of winter, a storm being forecast for that weekend. An individual worked his way through the crowd, Hair tamed by his cap and giving suspicious glances to everyone he passed on the sparsely populated streets. It was early, no doubt the city would get moving soon. 'So would the Unnaturals,' He thought, 'Good.'
His eyes moved to a large building, checking the street twice, he crossed to enter. His workplace, his trapping lab...But, it benefited the pale man. He could run blood tests here, tests on them.

  • It was a tad bit chillier than James Merrio would've liked. His blue eyes gazed at the ground below from his twenty-fourth floor balcony, considering things as the sun rose to meet the sky-line. He'd not slept much, he never did, due to the loud environment...The lack of rest didn't bother James much, though...
He let his gaze drift to an individual he liked to gaze upon every now and again, the bouncy yellow hair hidden by a a cap today, but it didn't make much of a difference, as James liked to make a habit of studying people so closely he could know them just by their walk cycle, or how their morning routine went. James knew that most mornings, this blonde went in early, almost at sunrise or just after. He never stopped for coffee or anything, just went loyally to work, and went loyally to home. There are times when James would spot him outside past his bedtime, but adults were adults, and they were allowed some liberties. Once he knew the bouncy blonde wouldn't be coming out early(another mental process...) James turned and went inside his own flat to get ready. Settling on a nice, mist grey top and black jeans, he flipped on the TV and plopped on the couch with food. The news reports bored him for the most part, nothing crazy. Everything the same, it frustrated the black haired male to the point that...Oh. A pillow was across the room now, best mind his temper...Hum...
    "What to do today....Hm?"

  • Ooc: (XD The best part is that I also have a character named James! Alright, first post!)

    Ic:
In one of the small town squares in the city, five people were quickly rushing around together with boxes and other sorts of things. "James, set that down over there! Emilia, bring that box here!" A short and odd looking older female with a messy tuft of black hair on top of her head. The cloak she wore made her stand out, as if she were some sort of weird occultist or something, and practically covered all of her body. Behind this group was a semi-large sort of dark colored tent booth, with mysterious and mystical designs on the purple cloth. A large sign was right next to the small opening, saying "Sapphire & Co. Mystical Mysteries" in Times New Roman font. The people carrying these boxes though seemed a bit younger, about the average age of teenagers. Two girls and two boys of different sizes. "Is this all Sapphire?" James, a quite large Hawaiian-American young man asked her while wiping the sweat from his brow after setting down the last cardboard box. Emilia, a small pale girl with a large amount of red hair rolled her eyes while putting up some little decorations inside the tent. Sapphire seemed pretty content with how the tent looked, staring at it with a smile. "Alright kids, lets start setting everything up so we can get this business rolling!" She exclaimed with a grin, though Lucas, the eldest of the teenagers, let out an annoyed groan at the cheesy sounding line Sapphire had made.

  • In Character : Kim & Dai

It was as if the apartment was a pocket of warmth inside an ice bubble. Kim had moved every blanket and pillow she could find into the living room, joining the free forms of her sleepy reptiles by the fireplace. She'd woken up far too early, the heating having broken in the middle of the night. Now that it was fixed, she was just too tired to even leave the nest she'd constructed in a frenzy. Her iguana seemed to watch her smugly from where he basked on the warm stone in front of the fireplace, a blanket tucked around him. At least he was living the good life.

"Martyn! Martyn we have to go! Martyn...Kim! Kimball get up! Our shift starts in twenty minutes!" Ah yes. Dainan. The teen was one of those horrible morning people. He'd even pressured her into taking the midmorning shift at the cafe. But...he was a good kid. A little too sporadic. But she didn't care about that. Sighing, Kim peeled herself up from the mess of blankets and walked over into the kitchen. Dai was sitting on the counter, his bookbag slung over his shoulder and his dog's leash gripped tightly in his hand.

"Alright, alright Mr. Birdy. Just let me get my jacket," Kim told her roommate. Dai simply rolled his eyes, jumping down and checking Wydygan's vest as she threw on her biker jacket. And, miraculously, they managed to get to the cafe on time even when they were stopped to chat with the landlady. The duo managed to clock in on time, waiting patiently behind the counter for customers to take notice they were now open. It helped knowing that no one really came in during the morning for anything but pastries and coffee. Not as many folk stuck around to ogle the few people as they worked or Dainan's service dog.
