  • So you know the plot.. Here's my character ^u^

    Faceclaim- Shannon Rose
    [1] - [2] - [3] - [4] - [5]

    This is Lily M. Brookes. She is twenty three years old. She is five foot four inches, and weighs one hundred and twenty pounds.
    ~~~~~~~~~~
    Lily loves girls that are taller than her. She loves brown eyes, they're just such a turn on to her. On the other hand, she doesn't really like weirdly colored contacts. A big no-no if you're trying to get in good with Lily is to be rude, or sexist. Just.. no..
    ~~~~~~~~~~
    Lily loves romantic gestures, cute nicknames, and taking walks with her significant other. She hates any summer-ish activities, like swimming, because she likes wearing long sleeves to hide her scars.
    ~~~~~~~~~~
    Lily is a shy person. One thing to note when getting to know her is that she hates every thing about herself. She hates they way she looks, the way she talks, her quirks, honestly everything. She loves compliments, but would never purposefully fish for them.
  • Alright then.
    I'll get a picture later, is that fine with you?
    ~~~~~~~
    Becca's favorite eye color happens to be light blue or emerald, because she just finds it pretty, much like gems are to her. She really dislikes too obviously dyed hair, such as blue or red.
    ~~~~~~~
    She really loves it when others decide to take the first move and start flirting with her instead of her making the first move, but she usually might do so if she gets too impatient with her crush. She loves cropped tops.
    ~~~~~~~
    Becca is quite the sociable one on the other hand, but she isn't completely satisfied with herself. She feels like everything could be better, but it's still her fault for everything she dislikes. Even when she gets complimented, while she tries to look cheerful she doesn't truly feel what she shows she does.

  • That's fine. I'll start ^u^ If you don't mind I will be the one letting the neighbor borrow her shower, I think it suits Lily's personality. Also sorry about the scar thing in my first post. I forgot to cut that out after using her for a different roleplay lol --

    Lily sat at her couch with sweatpants and a white tank top on. She had just finished a long day at work and needed some time to relax and rest her muscles. Naturally, she was surprised to hear a knock at her apartment door.

    Lily got up and walked to the door, taking a look through the peephole. Once she saw the beautiful shining face of her neighbor, Becca, who she happened to be madly in love with, secretly, of course. Lily was much too shy to say anything.

    Lily quickly opened the door to greet her neighbor. "Hey! What's up?" She asked curiously. She had never really had a formal conversation with the girl, they had just waved and shared looks, so it was odd to see her knocking on Lily's door. With a towel? And a change of clothes..?

  • OOC: Yeah, I don't mind at all. ^^

    IC: Becca was waiting for her once she had knocked on the door until she opened up, grinning awkwardly at her followed by her familiar to her neighbor giggle before she tilted her head, trying her best not to waver as she asked, a light red blush appearing on her cheeks. "H-Hey, Lily. I know it's rare to talk to you, but... My shower has a few issues and I really need to get ready for a date, s-so... Can I please borrow yours?"

    She asked and having done so, she bowed her head and upper body just slightly in hopes it would help get her pity enough to be let inside to use it. "I even brought my clothes and a towel over so I don't give any mucus or possible skin conditions." She then said in a caring tone to remind her of a trait she was known for, always trying her best to make sure the others were alright.

  • Lily nodded and stepped back from the doorway to allow Becca a way in. "Of course!" She said a little too excitedly. "I mean, you can always count on me. The shower is right down there.." She said pointing to the left of two doors. "I have plenty of soaps and stuff, and don't worry if there isn't much left. I'm going shopping tomorrow anyways." She said gesturing for Becca to enter.

    "I'm making dinner, if you haven't eaten and aren't busy you could stay.." She said running her fingers through her long blonde hair. She had to wonder, though, if this girl was even a lesbian. She kind of assumed, but it wasn't really her place to ask, yet. Was she single? Who knows.. YET. There might be a chance for Lily.

  • Becca nodded and even was driven to the point where she accidentally squeaked from he happiness, seeing she had such a good neighbor for no apparent to her reason. "T-Thank you! I won't take long, I promise!" She said, before hearing her other suggestion.

    She made her way to the bathroom as she told her back, in response to the last question she had decided to ask. "You can call the date busy and it would be a shame if I were to miss it, so I'm sorry! But I'd love to eat here, honestly." She replied, closing the door behind her to start changing before getting in the bathtub.

  • Lily watched her go into the bathroom, not moving from the front door. She held a smile until Becca was behind a closed door. Lily sighed and shut the front door, walking back to the couch. Lily was of course saddened by the rejection, but was especially disappointed because Becca was going on a date! What luck.

    Lily leaned back in the couch and un-muted the silenced television. She could hear the water running in the bathroom, and started to daydream of her and Becca together, maybe even a pet. Yes. A cat, or two. Lily wished she had a cat, but she worked a minimum wage job from eight in the morning to eight at night five days a week, and would hate to neglect it that much.

  • Becca quietly washed herself as she looked around Lily's shower, trying not to make any noise if possible just to not bother her any more than she already had, her cheeks a dark red as she thought of just what she was doing as of right now in Lily's house, to be honest. Not only did she knock on the one one neighbor she didn't talk to, her door of all people, she also asked to borrow the entire bathroom for a few minutes...

    She was wondering how she could make up for it, actually, and she let out a sigh as she got out of the bathroom, quickly changing into her new clothes as she kept feeling like she was guilty of this. Stepping out of the bathroom, she noticed that with how much she had dozed off, she was too late already to get there in time and without any misunderstandings popping up. She took a deep breath, before sneaking behind Lily and tapping her shoulder. "H-Hey, what was for food again?" She asked in an innocent manner as she giggled awkwardly, rubbing the back of her neck.

  • Lily jumped off the couch, having forgotten already that Becca was using her shower. She had gotten lost in thought, and having lived alone for almost two years, she wasn't used to hearing other voices.

    "Hey Becca, again.." She said nervously rubbing the back of her neck. "Dinner? Oh I was just going to make some quinoa fried rice and Korean beef.. It's my favorite." She said pointing to the thawing meat on the kitchen counter. "I hope you're not vegan, but if you are the quinoa is fine.." She said smiling at Becca.

    "I though you had a date?" She said remembering the disappointing 'no' she had received only half an hour before.

  • Becca laughed awkwardly as she shook her head at her, holding a hand in front of her just to show her that she had 'misunderstood' things, or rather Becca hadn't just made things clear. "W-Well, I'm already too late for the date, so I thought why not sit here and have dinner with you instead... Since you offered, I shouldn't let it go to waste. But I'm not vegan, so don't worry."

    She said afterwards in a more comfortable way as she giggled, looking over her shoulder at her kitchen. "Well, shouldn't you get to it?" She seemed so relaxed at last, as if she had suddenly gotten right back to her comfort zone.

  • Lily only half listened to what Becca was saying. She was distracted by her beauty, and the fact that she was standing in the middle of Lily's living room, after only having a few interactions before today.

    She was shaken from her thoughts when Becca suggested she should start cooking. 'Wha-? Oh yeah! I'm glad you decided to stay." She said walking into the kitchen and gathering supplies. Lily was truly glad Becca was here. Even though they weren't, and possibly would never be, a couple or anything, Becca's company made her happy.

  • Becca just looked at Lily oddly when she realised she was close to not listening like that, sighing and shaking her head at the other female once she started cooking, giggling in the meanwhile.

    "I think I'm glad I decided to stay too, I have a feeling it's going to be pretty good~." Becca sung as she winked at Lily, before she started looking around the room, quiet while doing so.

  • Lily started sauteing the onions, and listening to Becca sing. "Oh by the way, don't open the door next to the bathroom. It's a closet, and I did not do a good job filling it. I will most likely all fall on you." She said a bit loudly so she could get the message across to the other woman.

    Lily finished cooking the meal withing the next 15-20 minutes, and put the meal on two plates, in equal proportions. Lily brought the plates out to the living room and set them on the coffee table. She didn't have a dinning room, sadly. Lily walked back into the kitchen and grabbed some red wine for them to share.

  • OOC: Should I make Becca really barely even strong against alcohol for the easing of the plot? ;P

    IC: Becca noticed how long it took her to be careful and had nodded at her warning without really commenting on it however as all she was trying to do right now was pass some time, until she was done, which she ended up having done by looking around.

    Once it was ready, she smiled as she saw her set it on the best sort of table that her house seemed to have, before she took a seat on one of the couches around it, and looked back to see her holding a bottle of wine. "It looks amazing already..."

  • - Sure xD Some drama maybee? Maybe she reveals secrets to Lily she doesn't remember later? draammmmaaaa xD-

    Lily smiled brightly at her compliment as she poured the wine into a couple of wine glasses. "Oh just wait until you try it!" She said sitting on the couch. "The wine is nothing much, it is of course cheap. I'm not very wealthy, obviously.." She laughed awkwardly, looking around the room. Of course their apartments looked similar, and Lily was afraid of offending Becca.

    "I just meant that uhh.. most of the stuff here is from goodwill." She said nervously rubbing the back of her neck. Lily didn't want to ruin this so soon. Lily took a sip of her wine, but waited to eat until Becca had taken the first bite.

  • OOC: Drama like wot? Wootwoot.

    IC: Becca kept nodding at her, listening with interest visible in her eyes, as if glimmering. She looked around once she mentioned wealth, realizing how cheap the apartments looked after all.

    She is right, we live in so cheap apartments either way... Hm. Then noticing how she wasn't eating, she realized Becca must be the one she was waiting for before she quickly started eating, for Lily's possible hunger to be solved faster.

  • Drama like.. maybe Lily knows that Becca is gay now? or.. something juicy that Becca forgets she tells her and then is super angry/embarrassed when she finds out lily knows? just a little sumthinsumthin to keep the plot rolling ^u^-

    Lily smiled at Becca, and hoped she was enjoying the meal. It was an easy recipe, but the healthy ingredients cost a bit extra. "It looks like you're enjoying it?" She stated/asked as she took a bite of the good-smelling meal.

    Lily was subtly eyeing the girl sitting next to her, considering this might be their last encounter. They hadn't spoken before now, but Lily hoped a friendship would blossom, at least. Lily took a few more sips of the wine. She enjoyed it, and hoped that Becca would enjoy the drink too. She really wanted to impress her crush.

  • OOC: More likely Becca flirts with Lily due to her drunkenness and she shows she's a lesbian like that? o3o

    IC: Becca nodded at Lily with a wide grin plastered on her face, obviously happy to see that she was getting that idea on top of everything else too. "Of course, it's really good!" She said, honestly but also in attempts to cheer her up.

    Once she was done with the food, which was quite the bad choice, she accidentally hurried and drank all of the wine on her glass at once, and considering her low tolerance of alcohol she could quite easily get drunk like that. The fact she was full helped a bit, but... Still not enough to prevent her from actually getting drunk. "Yea', 's pretty good." She said after looking down at the table for a while, having lifted her head to reveal a light red tint on her cheeks and her slurred voice as she smiled and closed her eyes.

  • - that sounds good xD I'm not great at plotting lel -

    Lily watched as Becca drank all the wine at once, wondering what her tollerance was like. She was a thin girl, so she hoped Becca would be okay. "Becc-" She tried to stop her, but it was took late, and her words were beginning to slur.

    Lily held back an amused laugh, and took Becca's glass. "Are you alright?" She asked, a warm smile stretching across her face. Lily took a bite of her food, curious of what she might say in this drunken state.

  • OOC: Meh, anything can do. xD

    IC: With a small delay, Becca looked at Lily and nodded slowly, her head losing its balance and falling down a bit before it shot right back up, as she told her. "Yea', why wouldn' I be sweetheart?" Sweetheart? Hm. Something surely suspicious I could never have the slightest idea of what it is was happening to Becca due to her low tolerance.

    She then dropped her head again, looking down at the table and starting to trace her fingers on the table's surface in a heart-like pattern as she hummed lowly, puffing her cheeks out.
