  • Crush walked over to her, and picked her up again. "She's fine, Wheatley," he translated, shaking his head. "She'll take a while, so I'll carry her again, I suppose." At least her breathing was steady.

  • Wheatley glanced from person to person. "Oh, this is my fault, isn't it? I'm so sorry, luv..." He shifted around, uncomfortable. "Oh, Twi...a-at least she's okay. Right?" He tried to gather semblances of his previous optimism, but he seemed pretty shaken.

"Mmmm..." Tully murmured, unable to keep her eyes off of Twilight. A panic attack, huh? Boy, could she relate to that one. Her anxiety attacks were usually triggered by less severe memories and weren't as...catastrophic, but they still felt like the worst thing ever. Tully rummaged through her head- maybe she could give some pointers or something? This would be the time where therapy would be useful. Probably.

But that wasn't the issue here. She grabbed her notebook and wrote on it- "Should we wait for her to wake up? " and showed it to the group. The letters were incredibly shaky, and it appeared like Tully had put a lot of time into writing them properly.

  • Crush looked at the unconscious Twilight in his arms, and shook his head. "Nah. Best to try and get this Neuro-Sh!t done before she wakes up. Then we don't have to talk about it, ever again."

  • "That would be for the better, I suppose. The...." He seemed a lot more hesitant saying the words now that he saw what the event caused, "...neurotoxin chamber shouldn't be too far from here. But there's a locked door, over there. I'm assuming there's not a lot of ways to open it with a portal gun.."

Wheatley trailed off. The event seemed ripe for some sort of joke from him to make the situation a bit brighter, but he seemed a bit out of focus.

Tully walked over to the door, and looked at it inquisitively. As soon as she got close, a green light on it flashed, and it opened. She gave Wheatley a confused look.

"...ah, I guess it wasn't locked then. Well done, then! Let me just, go on ahead for you there..." Wheatley wheeled ahead of them on his management rail. "Up ahead of here should be the...Bring your Daughter to Work Day projects.." his voice faltered a bit at that. "So if we see those, we'll know we're on the right track."

  • (half of me is glad twi isn't conscious but at the same time back story reasonings. XD but I'm not sure if she would have a project there. Or what it would be)

  • "'Bring your daughter to work' days?" Crush asked, hoping to maybe understand more about the situation. "The sickos who worked here had kids?" he paused as he rethought his insult. "Actually, forget kids, they had lives?" It may have been insensitive, but the football star had never really been one for sensitivity. "I wonder what crazy things they did to their children."

  • Twilight slightly stirred in Crush’s arms but didn’t wake. Her pale face was slowly regaining its warm pink tinted color. Her breathing had reset to its steady pace with each breath.

    (Hm. Should I wake her?)

The Turret looked around before speaking up. “Idaho is famous for their potatoes.”

  • "Potatoes? What the hell do potatoes have to do with this?" Anna sighed, before seeing a large amount of... Potato Batteries "Oh. Thats what Potatoes have to do with this." She shrugged, giving each science project a cursory glance "That... Wow. Really? All those projects, and their pretty much all Potato Batteries."

  • (I don't care.)

"Hm. too bad most of them are dead," Crush noted, feeling Twilight shift in his arms. At least she was looking much better, not as pale. "Oh, there's one that... wow, it lived." He expressed a bit of amazement at a potato that had grown almost impossibly. Leaves were everywhere.

  • Twilight slowly blinked her ocean blue eyes awake. "H-Huh?" She winced, her eyes adjusting to the new light and struggled to bring them into focus. Her eyes stared at the vines all over the place before spotting the huge potato and the banner behind it. Bring your d- She held back the urge to puke again, which she was pretty sure Crush was thankful for. Man. It had never been this bad before.... So why was it coming back to haunt her now? When they needed her but she can't even think about, uh, it, or she'd have another attack...

She changed her gaze to a small lemon powered device that was still active. Was that-? She slowly tilted her head for a better view. She saw her poorly child written name in the corner of the faded paper. She felt a small smile tug at her lips. "It feels like that was yesterday, doesn't it Wheatley?" The exhausted girl spoke, her voice weak, cracking a bit, and strained but fear, uncertainty, and longing somehow seeped into her tired voice.

  • "oh, you're awake, are you?" Crush said, unsympathetically. Then he grinned. "Just teasing. You okay?" He asked, pausing the forward momentum they had gained.

  • "It does, doesn't it..." Wheatley murmured longingly. "Wait-Twilight?! Oh, are you alright? Do you need anything?"

Tully gave Twilight a smile and began to give the projects in front of them a look over. There were certainly a lot of potato projects. Whoah, one of them had a potato that was certainly overgrown. It seemed to stretch out into the ceiling!

She glanced at the one Twilight had made and smiled a little, imagining Twilight as a child. She hoped Twilight had a better childhood than she did growing up.

  • Twilight smiled softly at Wheatley. “I’m fine for right now Wheatley. I will let you know if I need anything. I promise.” She told him. She smiled back at Tully, grateful for her silent reassurance.

She noticed her looking at her lemon. “I made that such a long time ago.... well it feels like a long time ago.... I’m not exactly sure how long it’s been since it’s happened but I was around seven or eleven I think.” She informed Tully. “I meet Wheatley for the first time not long after that...” she trailed off, trying to focus on her memories of meeting Wheatley. And not what happened soon after.

  • Crush remained silent. As long as she hadn't heard of his vicious remark against the scientists, he figured he should be smart, and avoid speaking for a while. Hopefully, she wouldn't hear of it.

  • Twilight looked up at Crush. “Hey crush? Could... could I try walking? It probably won’t go well but... I really wanna look at the projects better.”

  • "Huh?" Crush was so focused on keeping quiet, he almost missed the question. "Oh, yeah, sure. Here." He bent his knees a bit, and rolled her so she could stand, or at least try to.
