  • Spaats reformed into his Ball configuration as sensors detected non-aperture registered personnel outside of the testing courses. The rolling droid moved through silent corridors, hunting Twilight with ruthless efficiency.

Ana stared up towards where Wheatley was "Ok, I'm sorry for calling you that, But who is Her? Now isn't exactly the time for the Pronoun game, if you didn't already realise that."

  • Wheatley groans. He didn't like the nicknames people were giving him.

But Ana's question snapped him out of it.
"Oh? Her? She's..." Suddenly, Wheatley looked very nervous. "...one of the robots here. It's nothing important."
    Your being suspicious, Tully writes.
"I-I'm not!" He yells. "I'm just....don't want to talk about it. Let's keep testing. It's this way."
He zooms ahead, leaving them alone.
"Uhm..." Tully cocks her head and keeps the portal gun close to her, a bit wary. "Oooo-kay..."

  • (Good lord, the Cereal Based Puns are amazing!)

Spaats arrived near the door Twilight was hacking "Non-Authorized Personnel. Cease all movement or Lethal force will be authorized."

Ana grimaced "Well, Thats not ominous at all... Oh well, Lets get moving I guess?" She started to walk in the same direction as Wheatley had raced off, keeping half an eye open for whatever he had found so terrifying.

  • (Did these come from Wheatley's name or what? It took me a while to get where these were coming from...)

Tully shrugged. She was still very unnerved, but there was no use in just standing there.
After a while of traveling she noticed a room with a large button, a closed door, and a strange cylinder tube thing linked from the ceiling.
"I..." ..think this is the testing chamber.
To confirm her theory, a voice came online,
Cube- and button based testing are important tools in testing chambers- even im apocalyptic situations.
As the announcement went out, a cube of some sort dropped from the tube.
If cube and button based testing caused this apocalyptic situation, do not be alarmed. The chances of this happening twice are very slim.
    That's reassuring, Tully groaned.
She looked at the cube, and then the button. It clicked in her head almost immediately.

  • Twilight turned around and her eyes widened. She had just finished hacking the door and it creaked and sparked, opening a crack wide enough for her o slip through. She backed up and slipped through and hid on the other side, trying to get it to shut.

  • (and to think crush started it. I guess he's surprisingly clever when you give him the chance...
And yes, ever heard of Wheaties, the breakfast of Champions?)
Crush followed the two, looking around warily. He listened to the robotic voice.
"So, her, if she's got her own chamber, is she important?"

  • (OOOOOH I JUST REALIZED IT WOW IM TERRIBLE-)

I would think so, Wheatley referred to her like she was royalty or something Tully wrote. She knelt down and tried to pick up the cube. She stumbled at first, but got herself up amd started off again. She placed on the button and practically fell over, panting heavily. Possibly decades of sleep didn't do well for the dexterity.
The door opened halfway, shot a burst of sparks, and then opened all the way.
Tully clapped her hands together, rather proud of herself.

  • (I know of Weatabix)

Ana shrugged "I guess She must be. Not feeling to good about following this moron into this place, seeing as he almost got me stuck in a pitch black room with a skeleton..."

Spaats enunciated "Unidentified Indivual. You have not complied, Lethal Force Authorized" The two pairs of Browning 7.7mm machine guns opened fire, spraying the doorway with a hailstorm of metal.

  • Twilight screamed in surprise and ducked for cover behind broken debrie And finally got the door to shut with a loud creak and slam. She panted.

  • Spaats gave an electronic sound of disgust "Report on Target Designation 5504. Subject has Temporarily Eluded Elimination. Search and Destroy Tactic Selected" He folded back up and rolled away from the broken door.

Ana had heard the gunshots then the scream and was looking around worried "Ok, I can't be the only person who heard that, right? Do you think it was that Droid from before?"

  • Curiosity compelled him, and he reached for the box. He lifted it with one arm, even juggling it, before setting it back on the button. "Better let me do the heavy lifting from now on," Crush smiled at Tully. His eyes widened as he heard the .303s "Those sounded like gunshots. Do they have guns to keep us from escaping?" Crush asked.
(Now, would those be British .303s, or American 30 Cal? Yes, I know my guns; I play a WW2 Air combat sim game, and yes, they have everything from British Vickers K .303s to the 20mm Hispano Mk Vs, not to mention America's .30 and their big ol' Ma Deuce 50 Cal Browning M2.)

  • (War Thunder? And I did say Browning 7.7mms, So yeah, Brit .303s, The same gun almost all Brit planes seemed to be armed with until the Hispano's became common.)

Ana shrugged "There were guns on that Droid that made us test, back before we got the portal gun. Maybe thats what it was? But then... Who or what was it shooting at?" She reached out and struggled to lift the box, getting it an inch or two off the ground before having to drop it "Ok... Thats heavy..."

  • (yes, WT, that game by Gaijin. I would ask if you play, but you probably do, guessing by your knowledge... Your favorite plane is the Spitfire series?)
"Yeah, let me do the lifting. Not to be rude or anything, but I think I'll be the heavy lifter here." Crush said, looking through the door.

  • (Oh, that. 40mm Vickers cannons. they nerfed that so hard... It flew well, but they gave it the flight model of a P-39 (figuratively), it's so wobbly. I loved it too, but it's just unflyble for me now. I prefer the Me 109s, they're sleek, fast, good turners, have good armament (Minengeschoss!), and climb like a MC202.)
(Anyway, what's your profile on that? I'm Spudbob there, too.)
