my favorite julio-claudian emperor was claudius bc everyone was like "fuck this family kill them all" but then the bad guys were like "oh look at this weird guy with a limp and a stutter. he's probably stupid so lets use him as a puppet emperor" but claudius wasn't stupid and then continued on to be the guy who built a lot of the roads and aqueducts and stuff
