Henry didn't like Americans during his time because he thought they were uncivilized and immature
He did admire their government though so there's that
But he didn't like anyone in his time including the people in his own country because they were too stuffy and lied to each other a lot (at least his family/friends did)
Except Queen Victoria
He thought she was great because his daughter sort of idolized her and he thought it was cuteClearly though he has nothing against Americans now
