  • [center][fancypost= width: 450px; text-align: justify;][size=11][font=timesnewroman]Sweetophelia needed to see who was still active in BlizzardClan and while she had a good idea of just exactly who that list included, the tall Ragdoll had decided to call for a formal semi-high position/high position meeting nevertheless. After all, activity would not be all that she was interested in discussing. For the time being, the new BlizzardClan leader remained sitting, her face set in a placid expression. While she was excited to be leading BlizzardClan after serving as vice-leader and then deputy for so long, the new position came with more responsibilities than enjoyment.

  • [center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 375px;][font=andale mono][align=justify]As it would happen, Riddlersgame was the first to appear, the lanky tabby seating himself near the new leader after realizing no one else had come yet. He didn't really know what to expect from this meeting, as he didn't remember ever having to attend one in the past, but he supposed he would find out soon enough.

  • [center][fancypost= bgcolor= opacity: 0.5; borderwidth=0px; width: 450px;][font=times new roman][align=justify]Pierce, like Riddler, had no idea what to expect from this meeting. Still, he was antsy to attend it. Arriving soon after Riddlersgame, the serval hurriedly sat beside him and turned his attention to Sweetophelia, head cocked curiously to the side. He had a feeling not very many people would attend - Blizzardclan had been awfully quiet recently, but he was hopeful for at least a few.

    #A9BCF5 for speaking
    The little trainee approached the group next, lacking her normal excitable luster and instead just came to a halt in the corner, her small form hunched slightly. She brought her sapphire orbs up to Sweet for only a few moments before dropping it to her paws, sniffling slightly. Given that most of the members that had left Blizzardclan recently had been her family, Etherealpup was not exactly in a good place.

  • [center][fancypost= width: 450px; text-align: justify;][size=11][font=timesnewroman]She was expecting two or three more high positions to arrive but Sweetophelia was interested in starting the discussion as soon as possible. The first days of leadership were immensely crucial, after all. Once they arrived, they should be able to easily catch up. "Welcome," the newly named leader acknowledged the ones present. "We first need to address the fact that we currently have no official medics in BlizzardClan. To my knowledge, the only member to be fully trained in healing is Kamari. Is this true?" Otherwise Sweetophelia would simply have to request aid from one of their allies - asking to borrow one of their medics to help train the new generation of BlizzardClan medics. She thought that RiverClan or BloodClan would be good candidates for such a proposition.

    Mack shuffled in blankly, taking a seat. He wasn't in any certain mood, only a kind of numbness that washed over his dulled frame. His colors always dulled in such emotional circumstances, although he wasn't sure he was feeling any kind of emotion right now. The deaths of people he knew fairly well had hit him for a little while, but soon his grief turned to something like a deep depression that was going to be incredibly difficult to overcome, if at all. Still, as a deputy, the male had to serve his clan. He didn't care if he felt like crap, he had to keep going. Dulled neon eyes, glazed, flickered over his clanmates, a neutral frown upon his lips.

  • ...Çelina

    By the time Çelina had arrived, it seemed Sweet had already begun the first topic of discussion. Oh well, better late than never. As the canine settled down beside Mack, her ears perked in interest at the new leader's question. Kami might become the Clan's medic? The femme was very excited for her friend but did her best answer as calm as possible. "I believe so. She has helped with my studies on occasion and has always been able to answer my questions." She'd never seen the feline in action, but maybe someone else gathered could vouch for her in that regard.

    [font='baskerville old face'][align=center]KAMARI DEERLING

    [font='baskerville old face']smart - awkward - kind - nerdy - shy

    [align=justify][font='baskerville old face']Kamari was slightly late, which she was never proud of due to being her goody-goody self, she usually was one to arrive early to meetings like this rather than late, but nevertheless she knew that being late was better than not being here at all. What had surprised her though, was that the moment she came over, they seemed to be discussing her. Mari was feeling pretty awkward, but happy about it all at the same time. She had no idea what to even do with herself at this point, so she just sat down and kept quiet, not wanting to talk about herself or anything. She didn't want to seem greedy or anything, no matter how much she would love to step up as medic - if Sweetophelia felt she fit the part, that is.

  • [center][fancypost= width: 450px; text-align: justify;][size=11][font=timesnewroman]Glancing over to Kamari as the brown tabby approached, Sweetophelia arched a brow when the female in question said nothing herself. Shrugging it off, she decided to shift the focus of the conversation onto the next order of business. "As you know, the clans - not just BlizzardClan - are all experiencing a decline in activity. This makes me question whether or not it is so necessary to divide our hierarchy and duties into so many ranks since theoretically I don't see why most Paladins would not be able to do the basic role of a Combatant and vice-versa."

    Blinking, the BlizzardClan leader continued on with her point, "I wanted to propose an idea to you all. Should the Head Combatant and Head Paladin ranks be abolished? Or should one of the two branches itself be dissolved entirely and then we can delegate the duties of the other to the remaining branch? Recently our ally, RiverClan, has abolished their Head Riverguard and Head Lifeguard ranks, and they have roughly the same numbers we do. I see that there is no reason that a Combatant or Paladin could not function without a direct superior specific to their division seeing as they already take orders from deputy and above, and because they were promoted in the first place for displaying a degree of leadership amongst the rest of their clanmates." While she valued basic discipline in herself and her colleagues, Sweetophelia also placed value in high positions who could think for themselves and make time-sensitive decisions when necessary. They couldn't be babied forever after all and she already had some degree of confidence and trust in all of the high positions, which was why they already were or would be members of the BlizzardClan hierarchy.

    For the guide, can I receive the link to everyone's main account?

  • [center][fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 375px;][font=andale mono][align=justify]Riddlersgame glanced over at Kamari as she entered, long tail wrapping across his paws. Yes, it did seem the younger feline was the prime choice for the position.

    And as for Head Paladins and Head Combatants? Rid's roleplayer remembered before they introduced the Head Paladin, and Paladins had been able to function fine as well. "I think that would be a wise decision," he agreed simply, giving a slight nod in a rushed post since river had to go to school.

    Mck nodded in agreement as well. "With the amount of people we have, it would be wise to abolish those ranks. At least for now." He murmured, although it appeared his mind was completely elsewhere. Still, he had to participate in the clan's activities and complete his duties, no matter how sad he was.

  • ...Çelina

    Çelina listed carefully to Sweet's next subject of conversation. The wolf didn't have much of a preference either way, but she supposed it wouldn't hurt to get rid of those ranks. After all, their duties weren't much different. Silently, she nodded her head in agreement.

  • [center][fancypost= bgcolor= opacity: 0.5; borderwidth=0px; width: 450px;][font=times new roman][align=justify]It did seem Blizzardclan had too many ranks for their amount of members. Pierce had to agree, Sweet's idea was probably best. He nodded his agreement, saying softly, "That does seem like a good plan." Many of their clanmates had disappeared, and it seemed pointless to have so many ranks and no one to fill them in.

  • [center][fancypost= border: 0px; width: 440px; text-align: justify; font-size: 13px; line-height: 13px;]With the amount of clanmates that they had lost, Kamari had also noticed that the ranks were nearly empty now. Trying to fill that many positions would be tough, so she supposed it would be best to take them out. The tabby nodded in agreement, supposing that the 'head' positions were hardly necessary anyways.
