  • Enza Mitsugu
"Tch, annoying brat. Stop moving." He raised the gun to the coughing man's pale face, his expression one of looking fierce as he then pulled the trigger and immediately blood had splattered forth as the body had went still, another one of the dead to become merely nothing more than to cool in the cold night. He raised his free hand to his face as he then wiped the blood away that had so splattered upon his face. The target had been eliminated successfully, he needed to get out of there soon. Enza Mitsugu thought of this as what should be expected of his kills, he was always successful and always accurate. After all, all twenty-nine of his years of being alive, he had been trained in the art of assassination and had been always been successful no matter what the situation was, so this was simply another kill under his belt and he would get paid for it, a means for survival. In his mind, those who were not able to defend themselves weren't suitable to be alive and would die immediately. The weak would naturally be killed off, the strong would survive. Enzu from long ago and determined that he would be strong enough to survive.

I have to get back now, the client should have the cash. He closed his eyes as he heaved a sigh, moving away from the dead body and walking calmly out of the alleyway that he so cornered the poor individual. He walked quietly down the alleyway, moving upon the sidewalk as he kept towards the darkness so he would not get spotted. The small amount of people that had so walked among the streets was clear that he wouldn't draw attention to himself, of which was good. He didn't want to draw too much attention towards himself after all, it would complicate things of which he certainly didn't need to happen.

Eventually, he found himself at the familiar building that belonged to his client, he had been told beforehand that his client didn't want to meet him until the job was done and so obeying it completely and succeeding the mission he had followed such orders with care. However, instead of a building or an abandoned place that he had so originally expected, Enzu was greeted with the sight of a mansion. He couldn't say he was surprised, it was expected as the rich would always have money to throw around, especially more so if they had an enemy they so wished to eliminate. Dabbling in affairs that would cast them in a possibly horrid light he found was a trend that happened often and it wasn't a situation he had been particularly new to, in fact it consisted of majority of the work he had so fulfilled as of late and certainly nothing would surprise him anymore.

As he so reached the front of the mansion and had so let himself in without any hesitation, he had closed the door behind himself as he silently crossed the floor of the mansion until he froze as soon as he sensed a presence of someone nearby, immediately he had turned a hand coming to his waist where there was a dagger so concealed as his eyes narrowed, heavy dark circles under his eyes even more so pronouced with the fierce expression upon his face as his eyes fixated upon the figure that he had spotted at the other end of the room, unsure whether it was a friend from foe although he was certainly prepared to dispatch them if they so showed to be threatening.

  • Mito Sugiyama ~

Mito is a cheerful young man, though with little regard for others. He is childish and selfish, often acting out against others due to his hot-headed nature. His money, which is inherited from his parents, he uses rather carelessly at times, an example as using it to assassinate his enemies and keep Enza around merely to toy with him. He has gained a reputation of being a brat due to this, as well as gaining quite a few enemies as well. However Mito is very manipulative over people, and often will keep people from lashing out against him due to fear or worship over his authority. He is either loved or hated among others. Mito is very friendly and flirtatious, and loves receiving attention, though some of it is ill-intended. However Mito is extremely affectionate towards others and sympathetic so as long as he believes this is returned in his regard as well. He values trust and loyalty among those he grows close with, and does not care for wealth or social ranking.

Mito had been waiting patiently in his study for the return of his hired assassin. The cold night did not prevent it from being an intriguing one, ending an enemy always had Mito on the edge of his seat. There were always so much that could go wrong. Mito did not want to have his enemy catch on before he could be killed. Recently, his business was growing into a messier one, with quite a few competitors threatening him for his position. Not wanting to deal with himself, he hired this assassin. Mito jumped at the sound of the door opening, knowing that the assassin had returned. Mito exited his study and slinked towards the entrance, peering at Enza from the dark doorway. He had a wide grin spread across his face, "Why that didn't take long at all!" He laughed, coming into the light for Enza to view him better, "I'm impressed, I've heard this man was constantly on edge. How'd you get him alone?" He questioned, however he quickly dismissed it with a flick of his hand. "Actually, I don't want to know. But anyway, how about you and I get acquainted? Perhaps we should have a drink and discuss your payment and future?" He suggested, nearing him but keeping a careful distance in case the man broke out his hold and lunged for Mito.

  • Enza relaxed slightly as his gaze had recognized Mito, his client and had lowered his hand from the dagger he had so concealed. He found this man's cheeriness however to be annoying, grating and altogether a nuisance. So, in his mind he deemed that he wasn't going to stick around long, or rather he refused to. "I already had taken care of the target you sent me after, just give me my payment so I can leave." His cold words certainly seemed to be brimming from impatience and the icy chill to his eyes were tinted with the telltale sign of annoyance. Enza was never one for conversation, and he wasn't going to lower himself enough to ever converse too much with a client. After all, his family business of assassination could get him in quite a few deadly situations, many of which were oftentimes too close for comfort. All in all, he didn't trust this man, nor anyone within the deadly business he do dealt with, and he certainly wasn't going to allow himself to be lured into a false sense of security.

So, now it was the long silence that so spanned out at Enza stared blankly at the man before him clearly expecting his payment so that he could leave. He made no movements towards him or any movements to the door behind him, after all that would be foolish of him would it not? He already had made his demand, he expected for it to be followed through, and even if this man had placed a careful distance between them, he could easily cross it if he were provoked enough to. He certainly had no sort of patience when it came to social situations, which made him quite the anti-social one in the family of Mitsugu. His siblings, and his parents all had in their own way charisma, luring people into lowering their guard before going in for the strike. He on the other hand wasn't as sociable, instead he took to just killing and when he was done, demanding the payment and then leaving. He didn't make acquaintances and he had no sort of insentive so anytime in the future.

  • Mito frowned at Enza's cold response to him, he knew that assassins had to be indifferent to the emotions of others, but he hoped he could toy around with him a little longer. He reached in his pocket to pull out his wallet, holding it between his two fingers. "Yes you are right. You earned your pay." He said, looking through his cash for the right amount. He would have written him a check however he'd rather not have sign anything that may eventually be traced back to him. He returned his wallet to his pocket before heading closer to Enza, placing the money in his hands. He lingered his hands on top of his for a moment, "I do hope you'll take a moment to at least speak with me for another job arrangement." He said, moving his hands to his wrist and giving him a tug. "I'm certain you'll be interested, there is a good amount of money involved." He said with a grin, motioning towards his study. Mito's eyes were bright from the excitement of this man, he was always curious what type of life assassins lived, though he was certainly letting his guard down at the moment. He had closed the "careful" space between the two of them and was open for an easy attack.

Though rich and rather "powerful", Mito was not a good representation of the Sugiyama family. Childish, aggressive, and vulgar was the complete opposite of what the Sugiyama family valued in the heirs. His parents had previously been known to be extremely professional folk whom knew how to handle stressful situations without any bloodshed, thus gaining few enemies during their time. Mito, however, acted brashly when addressed with any form of threats. In comparison to his parents, he was a disappointment and a gained a great deal of distaste among others. This is why he felt the need to hire a man to do his killing for him, as he could never personally win in a fight. He'd easily be slewed if he was challenged by another. As often as he threatened and verbally attacked others, he was quite the coward. He could never personally own up to his threats, and instead used others to maintain his position.

  • Enza had raised his hand expectantly for the appropriate money he would receive, although his eyes narrowed dangerously as Mito had lingered his hands on top of his. He didn't much appreciate this man's foolishness, and due to the threatening glare he was giving this client, he wasn't in any sort of mood to entertain such childishness. However, his attention was caught for now the enticing thought of getting more money was certainly interesting to him, and if there was another job he could perform he would certainly do so if it meant more pay. After all, the world practically runs on money, the more money he would receive, the better off he would be. His gaze flickered down to the man's hand that had now moved to his wrists in which a look of distaste clearly shown on his face. Yes, he was interested in more pay, but if this man so insisted upon doing such irritating things, he would make sure that he would not cross such careful boundaries.

So, in a swift movement with his free hand he soon came up with a dagger to whom was his current client's jaw, deadly intent in Enza's gaze as he said icily, "I will listen. But do not touch me." He then ripped his hand away from his grip and had moved forward towards the direction of the study that Mito had pointed to, hidding the dagger back within the concealed pockets he had upon his body as well as the money he had so received. Clearly, crossing any sort of boundaries with Enza was asking for him to gut anyone in just mere seconds, if he had so been inclined to it would be quite possible that he would have killed Mito in that moment if he had wanted to. However, the only thing that saved him was the promise of more money, so Enza of course had spared him reasonably so, just to listen to his request for now.

  • Mito was taken aback by Enza suddenly holding a knife to his neck. He swallowed a lump in his throat, and silently listened to Enza's comment. "O-Of course, if that's what will make my guest most comfortable." He said in his cheerful tone, although beginning with a noticeable stutter from fear. He took a deep breath and returned to his happy and overly-trusting attitude towards this man. He knew that so as long as he could offer his wealth, Enza would remain passive. However he'd have to maintain his interest, or Enza would likely turn on him quickly.

He led him into the study and motioned for him to sit, while he leaned against the desk. "Now Enza, I do think that the two of us will work together well if you are open to the idea." He said with a wide grin, "And I've been in search of a reliable bodyguard, someone who will listen to my orders and protect me if needed." He explained, breaking eye contact with him and tracing his fingers along the side of his desk. Though this being partially true, as much as he needed to protect himself from the dangers of his rivals, he also hoped to explore Enza's life and use him for entertainment. "I am willing to pay good money for protection, so as long as you are interested" he smirked.

[sorry had to rush :c ]

  • As Mito had so motioned for him to sit, he had done so although he clearly hadn't relaxed a bit, his sharp eyes remaining heavily upon the male before him in which he listened in silence to his offer, remaining icily quiet throughout what he thought was a ridiculous speech as he so tilted his head slightly. However, as soon as he had finished with what Enza found to be quite the irritating smirk upon his face, his hands itched to go and take the dagger he had with him and plunge it into the man's face. Was he to be treated as if he were to be mere entertainment? A joke? He was an assassin, not a bodyguard and certainly he wasn't going to submit himself to some pompous, rich idiot who could simply think he could bribe him with money. The Mitsugu family still had its pride, and Enza certainly had some pride to him as well and so his lengthy icy silence seemed to draw out as what was now a frigid stare had turned into an icy glare.

"...I don't think you understand my profession, I do not work as a bodyguard to anyone. All I do is take out undesirable targets for clients, nothing more." His eyes narrowed threateningly, the dark depths burning, however part of his mind still had reasoned that this certainly would pay good money if he so agreed. Though, he would have to deal with this client on a twenty-four seven watch, which certainly he found would already wear down his thin patience. He closed his eyes, the dark circles seeming slightly more prominent as his brow furrowed, creasing in what one would see as irritation, something that seemed to happen quite a lot for Enza, "...How much money are you willing to give me?" At least Enza hadn't taken the opportunity to rip his head off, he seemed like he was holding himself back from choking him or doing anything worse as his hands were tightly clasped before him, though very much tightly as if he were restraining himself.

  • Mito frowned at the male's cold stare, "God I get you're an assassin, but would it kill you to lighten up?" He said jokingly, hoping that he made the connection between his "kill" joke and his profession. Though seeing how uptight he was, he doubted that he would find it funny. Though he knew of Enza's capability to end his life, he was still pushing him. Not only that, but he wanted to include this man in his personal life, as he would be in his home and near Mito often. He'd be able to kill Mito easily, as there were many vulnerable positions open for Enza to attack him. Though he wasn't worried about Enza killing him. He knew that so as long as he could offer Enza his wealth, he would remain interested.

But at this moment he didn't make any movements towards Enza, or attempt to tease him any further. "Well you will be taking out undesirable targets whenever I need it if you are employees for me. And you will continued to be paid for working and training around my mansion? Isn't that a good deal? You will also be provided with proper room and board, so you won't have to worry about not making enough money to make by." He pointed, staring at Enza's face. His dark circles fit in with Enza's appearance, giving him a tired and cold appearance, fitting for the assassin. "And I'm willing to pay quite a bit for your service." He added with a smirk.

  • Mito's joke was only received with severe silence, as it obviously was clear that Enza found such jokes unfunny, or perhaps it was more that the fact he was expecting him to be more serious about such things. So, the only thing he received from Enza was the icy glare that seemed to become more intense than before as he was very much considering the option of skewering the man before him with the dagger he had concealed. He almost wished he still had the weapon in his hand, but at least his attention had so been turned away from the joke and towards the main subject of what Mito had been offering to him, which he listened to with care. It certainly didn't sound like such a bad deal, at face-value but to him he clearly found the flaw already within this. Even if he was provided a room, given pay, and would guard this person before him wasn't that a role sounding more like a butler or servant than anything else? Giving the man's attitude before, Enza could only deduce that he was childish and was trying to use him as a toy to entertain himself. And he certainly wasn't going to deal with such an insult.

His eyes narrowed as he met Mito's gaze, unspeaking for a few long moments and as much as he still wanted to attack the man before him, he closed his eyes as he said icily, "No." The blatant refusal was a bit surprising, considering that all of the benefits that Mito was providing him, it was insane for him to refuse something that clearly had no faults to it. But, his stubborn pride wouldn't allow him to budge, no matter how much money was being offered. He wasn't going to be a docile servant to obey at any command this man so decided to give, and he certainly wasn't going to cause any sort of embarrassment to himself because of it. But, the cold 'no' he had given certainly didn't describe any sort of reason for his refusal whatsoever and clearly Enza wasn't going to give him one. The man had moved to stand up and leave too, so it was clear that he seemed a bit more irritated than before.

  • As cold as Enza acted to Mito, the young man remained intrigued. He was like a bratty child who could not be rejected. His eyes glistened with sanctification as Enza shot him down, Mito immediately positioning himself closer to Enza, "Please cooperate with, I believe the two of us could potentially relate our businesses well." He said, not touching him but offering his hand again, though for more personal reasons this time. "The pay is well and you will be able to access all sorts of resources, what else could a man of your trade desire?" He said, motioning his hand as if to represent the mansion. "I will be out of your hair most of the day, as I have other more important duties to attend to besides having you serve me. And I have other servants to wait on me for other personal jobs." He pointed out, trying to have the man reconsider his decision.

Though he wasn't certain how successful his convincing would be nor how Enza would react to his attempts. However he was sure that Enza wouldn't be as foolish to kill him in his study after having an appointment with him. He leaned towards him to say softly to him, "Remember how rich and powerful my family name is. It could do wonders for your assassin business if the two of us partnered together," He started, "As well as how bad it could be for you if you tried to hurt me." though seeming to finish on more of a warning, as he knew that Enza could end his life at any given moment. Mito certainly wouldn't be able to defend himself against a trained assassin, nor would any of his servants be able to save him in time, or even put up a good fight between him.

  • Enza looked over his shoulder towards Mito, the cold edge in his eyes unwavering and it more seemed as if he was attempting to stab through the man with his own piercing glare. Was he actually threatening him if he didn't agree? Enza truthfully had no cares in the world if anything horrid happened to him from killing the irritating man before him, after all the business of assassination was rather risky, it wouldn't be a surprise if he were to be killed because of angering the wrong people. So, death he wasn't afraid of. In fact, he would have laughed at his threat if he had so felt in the laughing mood. His gaze seemed to show no inclination that he was to accept the deal, instead it seemed like he was going to refuse yet again considering how stubbornly set he was on leaving. But, Enza was considering his options. Business was geting slow for him, and this would provide him a steady flow of money and shelter, not having to wonder if he had to switch to a new location due to too many suspicions rising around him and since Mito did say he would stay out of his way majority of the day then it couldn't possibly be too bad could it? He really hoped it so.

"...Fine." That was the short, one word response he was going to receive. He had a feeling the man would badger him about it until he relented or he killed him due to being irritated far too much by his persistence. The persistence was admirable, though if it wasn't directioned towards him he would have found it so. However, to him all he could see that the man whom was now his employeer was childish and annoying, he hoped that he could have the patience to deal with him.

  • A wide grin spread across Mito's face upon hearing Enza's response. He hadn't been expecting him to accept, considering his gaze seemed to hold so much aggression towards him. He found the possibility of being attacked by the man higher than him agreeing to work for him. Though he would make no objections to his decision. He clasped his hands together, "Wonderful! I'm so glad you made this decision!" He said cheerfully. He hadn't been completely lying about being to busy throughout the day to harass Enza, he would have to leave him alone many times throughout the day to deal with other business. Though he was certain to make time to get his money's worth out of Enza, putting special time aside to get to be one on one with the other male.

"Why don't I show you to your room? You can place all of your personal belongings in there." Mito suggested, heading over to the door again and opening it, motioning for him to follow. He knew that if he tried to drag Enza along with him, he risked Enza attacking him, as Enza looked as if he did not have anymore patience to deal with physical contact from Mito. "Though we can also discuss any other concerns you may have, I'm certain we can clear them up. I have a good feeling you'll really like it here." He stated, though the purpose of his statement seemed to be poke fun at Enza instead of concern for other issues they may have.

  • Enza's eyes narrowed at Mito, though he didn't respond. He couldn't particularly protest again going to the new room that Mito was providing for him, he was quite exhausted due to the day's events and he certainly would need the rest. Besides, he'd much rather go to sleep rather than talk about useless subjects he had no inclination of talking about. The statement of Mito implying he would like it there only made Enza give him even more of an annoyed glare than he had done a few moments ago. He wasn't even going to bother responding to his statement, he could already tell this was something he'd have to endure in silence and if he wanted the money Mito was going to provide him it certainly seemed he would have to put up with all the nonsence that was coming out from his mouth. At least Enza wouldn't have to constantly be roaming the streets from location to location, for now he would have a set location to remain in until he felt so inclined to leave which was becoming a tempting option for him now. Yet, he mutely shadowed Mito as he followed after him, though it certainly was eerie how quiet his footsteps were, if it wasn't for his gaze seemingly attempting to burn a glare through Mito's back, it would be quite possible that if he so wanted he could easily become undetected.

  • Mito turned back to gaze at Enza, whose gaze still held so much hatred for him, while Mito's face still held a playful smirk. He knew that Enza was not entertained by his attitude, but Mito still persisted. "You've already seen the entrance, so we'll just skip that." He said as he hurried up the stairway to the second floor, where all of the bed rooms were located. "My bedroom is at the end off the hall on the left. As for yours, I've picked the convenient location of the one across." He said cheerfully, walking down the hall and opening both doors. Either way, as Mito's bodyguard, Enza's room would need to be close. If anyone where to try and break in during the night, Enza could easily access him to protect him from danger. "Though I should warn you, the walls are rather thin here, so I suggest you act quietly at night, so you do not disturb anyone. However, I doubt you'll have that problem." He said in reference to how eerily silent Enza constantly acted, hardly ever speaking a word, as well as his footsteps being so quiet.

  • The playful smirk of Mito's was somehow making Enza's irritation spike more than before. Was this simply a game to him? Then again, judging by his actions so far he had already acknowledged the answer-- of course it was a game for him with only benefits, ensured protection and probably bothering Enza and finding it entertaining and he would simply have to endure it as much as it so bothered him. Though, as soon as Mito had shown him the second floor bedrooms, his expression turned somewhat sour upon seeing he would be staying in the room across from him, and upon mentioning the thin walls he had closed his eyes and took in a deep breath and exhaled. So, it would appear that he certainly couldn't murder Mito during the night if he pushed Enza's patience too far. Though, this thought only came to him considering he was agitated at the moment he only nodded his head in response to acknowledge his words, "Of course." He had forced himself to calm down and be polite, he had agreed to this after all so there was no point in acting disgruntled over everything that the other male even let slip from his mouth.

  • Mito wasn't too worried about being murdered in the night by Enza anytime soon, as Enza was being paid well and would be given little interaction with Mito during the day, which would hopefully ease any anger he'd pent up prior to the night time. But Mito would lock his doors and inform his other staff if he was concerned about Enza, so they could at least restrain him if they noticed him trying to break into his room. "We have plenty of other workers living on this floor, so you'll likely be seeing them about." He commented quickly motioning to the other half of the hall. He had gifted Enza with a better room in comparison with the other staff workers, though he did not point that out to him. He certainly would recognize that a while after living in the mansion. The other workers had small rooms, often shared between two of them, while Enza had a rather spacious room and was left alone. Mito moved to the other half of the other half of the hall, bringing him to the end and opening the door, "Supply room, if you need anything, you can get it yourself." He said, moving back to the middle and down the stairs, as he did not expect Enza to comment or question. He pointed opposite of the study, where they had came from, "Kitchen, dinning room, and exit to backyard are that way." He started before moving his hand back towards the study, "Study, entertainment room, library are that way," He explained giving him a second to take it all in, "If you'd like I can take you to the courtyard to show you where you can train and whatnot." He offered.

  • Enza had followed Mito quietly throughout the mansion, finding that the tour was certainly not as unpleasant as he had already put his mind to believe it would be. Instead he had begun to fixate upon the layout of the mansion so that he could begin to possibly learn every single turn and pathway there was to the large building, a common habit of his. After all, if he were to be a bodyguard it would make sense for him to be able to find his way around the building. Though, as he moved after Mito in silence as his gaze turned about with very slight curiosity. However at the mention of the courtyard and training, his attention had certainly been fully caught, his gaze focused completely upon Mito as he said simply, "Yes." The one word response to that seemed calm, but he seemed quite pleased there would be a place for him to keep his skills sharp.

  • Mito responded with a simple nod of his head before pivoting on his heels and heading towards the door to the courtyard. He opened the door leading to a decorated area, clear of furniture besides a training dummy, weapons, and greenery. Surely Enza could make use of this area somehow. "I know it's rather simple right now, but feel free to change it to your liking." He said as he walked over to gather the weapons together and place them together neatly, "If there is anything you need me to purchase for you to improve it, just let me know." He offered with a grin. Surely there were still specific things Enza would need to make his settlement here easier. Once he gathered the weapons together, he walked over to the more nature filled part of the yard, "Certainly someone like you will enjoy this area, it's quiet and peaceful, no one really has a need to come back here ever." He explained.

  • As Enza followed Mito, he took in the area with care. He had to admit, it didn't stand even close to the Mitsugu family training area in the main household, but it was suitable enough for him to train. In fact he felt a bit grateful that there was even a place for him to train, it was as if the one important thing that he needed without a doubt had been satisfied fully. He glanced over towards him, for once not glaring at him although it was mainly because he was still taking in the area he had provided him within the courtyard that he found that it made Mito slightly less unbearable but it wasn't enough to fully allow Enza to have a good opinion of the other male. He still found him irritating, and the grin he would put upon his face made Enza particularly annoyed. However, he didn't say anything as he looked over the weapons with care and seeing the good condition of them, he found that he was satisfied with it. There would be improvements later on that he would suggest, but for now Enza was satisfied with the small courtyard Mito had provided for him. "I see." He looked about for a few moments only to add, "That certainly is convenient." He found this to be all too convenient especially with the weapons already laid out and the courtyard being already designated to him, he couldn't help but still remain suspicious.
