  • He was the most feared Alpha in the entirety of all North America. Out of the 15 packs that lived in that area, his territory was the largest.
He had become the youngest Alpha in the history of werewolf kind.
At 16, he had slain his entire family.
He had everything at his fingertips, except one thing.
    His mate.
He had scoped the continent for 6 years, looked far and wide for the single life that would make his complete.
    But he couldn't find her.

Pacing across the entrance of the pack house, he runs his hands through his hair. He lets out a low menacing growl of frustration.
"Where is she? I've looked everywhere and have found nothing. Tell me Pierce. How does an esteemed Alpha such as myself, have everything, but feel so empty inside?" he growled loudly, his hair a wreck, and his eyes rimmed with dark circles. An Alpha could only go so long without a mate before he lost his mind. His first beta Pierce growled back at him.
"Maybe she doesn't want to be found." Pierce said smoothly.
Zander's face filled with an indescribable rage. His blue eyes started to fleck with red.
"I will find her if it's the last thing I do!" and that was the last thing he howled before his bones cracked, and he shifted into a large black wolf.

What happens when big bad Alpha Zander meets the one the moon goddess paired him with?
Will he be willing to lose everything for love?

OOC: In this roleplay your character will play his mate.
You will have to provide a picture of her wolf form and her human form.
You also have to have a description of her background and how she finds Zander.
Please respond with a paragraph or more ^.^

  • Background: Fay Hendrix was born in a pack in the Montanan wilderness. Her father was pack Alpha. He was a cruel and heartless leader that was greatly feared by his pack members. Fay had been abused by her father since she was a pup and she had no mother because her father had killed her for trying to protect Fay from one of her father's vicious attacks. After the loss of her mother Fay had become distant and much less outgoing. She feared her own death so she decided to leave the pack. One night while everyone else was sleeping she crept away into the woods. She ran away to the train station where she boarded. She rode all the way to Minnesota where she got off. She felt safe away from the pack, but she wasn't. Her father was tracking her and he wouldn't stop looking until he knew she was dead. Fay stayed in Minnesota and many months later her father found her. She had been running in the woods when she was abused by the pack. They beat her almost to death. The only thing that had saved her was the kindness of her mother's best friend. A she wolf who had declared her dead, although she was not. They had left her in the forest to rot away, but she had been found by another pack. The alpha was named Zander. He helped her and she has been with his pack since.

OOC: Just wanted to let you know that I am still getting used to the new format of the website so sorry if things take me a little to figure them out

  • OOC: I'm with you there. I am so confused with this new format :D

Pierce jumped in the way of Zander's growling wolf body
"Zander, stop it. You will find her, and you know you will. You are the most feared Alpha in the country and any pack would grovel if you snapped your fingers. Get a hold of yourself mate, and then go find your girl." Pierce said calmly, backing Zander into the corner.
Zander breathed heavily as he tried to get a grip on his raging emotions. His eyes started transforming back into the subtle blue eyes he's had since birth. His fur started shortening out, as he transformed back into the tall handsome man he was. He had to find this girl, needed to find her. The fate of the pack depended on it.
"Oh and Zander?" Pierce said, turning to face his Alpha. "I know one pack you haven't checked yet."
"And which one is that pierce?" Zander replied.
    "Your own pack."

  • Fay groaned and covered her head with a pillow. "Quiet down will you", she mumbled irritated at being awoken by what sounded like growling coming from downstairs. Awake now, she sat up and stretched her long body. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and crossed the room to her dresser. She pulled out some clothes and changed into them. She went over to her vanity and looked in the mirror. Fay gave a soft laugh at her crazy brown hair that was sticking up in several places. She brushed out the tangles, smoothing it out gently. Finishing her hair she gave a nod of approval and headed towards the kitchen. On her way she passed the house entrance where she saw the alpha Zander and first beta Peirce. She nodded to the two quickly, they looked tense and she didn't want to interrupt so she slipped into the kitchen. She started making herself a sandwich.

  • Zander narrowed his eyes at his beta, and looked out of the window. Pierce was right of course, like he always is, and Zander couldn't do anything but agree.
"Fine. I want all the unmated females in front of the packhouse before lunch." he said gruffly. Pierce nodded his approval, and went off to who knows where. Zander sighed, and opened the door to the house. He slipped inside, and heard his stomach growl loudly. He rolled his eyes at it, and walked to the pack kitchen. Cereal it is.

  • Fay looked up from her sandwich making to see Zander walk into the kitchen. She had heard what he had just said, but didn't mention it. The alpha male made her feel nervous, but she supposed it was because she didn't know him. She looked back down at her plate with a price of bread covered in peanut butter and the other half way smeared with jelly. She finished spreading the jelly and flipped the sandwich together. She cleaned her mess then went to the table to eat.

  • The alpha narrowed his eyes at the female, but ignored her anyways. He got down a bowl and fixed his breakfast. He grabbed it and walked to the table as well. He sat down quietly, but every so often he looked up at the girl. There was a peculiarity about her he couldn't put his finger on. Something about her eyes drew him in.
"Excuse me. What's your name?" of course Zander didn't know the lower ranking wolves name, as he already had so many to look after.

  • Fay ate her sandwich quietly. She saw Zander sit at the table as well, but paid no mind to him until he asked her name. Her green eyes flicked up to his blue ones, "Oh, Fay Hendrix sir" she said taken by surprise. She continued to keep eye contact wondering if he would say anything else.

  • Zander visibly flinched at the sound of her voice. He had already gathered that she was beautiful, but beauty didn't matter to him. But her voice was like soft bells ringing. He couldn't help but wonder if she was the one the moon goddess had gifted to him. He narrowed his eyes at the notion of her staring eyes.
"Are you mated Fay Hendrix?" he purred. He tilted his head in question.

  • Fay saw the male flinch, she wondered why, but gave no evidence of having seen it. She saw Zander's eyes narrow and she looked at her plate. She heard him ask if she had a mate and her eyes widened. She raised her head enough to look at him, "No sir" she replied trying to remain respectful.

  • Zander smirked inwardly at the notion of how visible it was that she was nervous. He stood up abruptly and clapped his hands together.
"Good. Then you will be at the meeting." he said, walking back into the kitchen. He pause when he reached the side of Fay's chair. He Stood there before leaning close to her face, but not actually touching it.
"And you better not skip it." he breathed, and then walked out of the dining room.

  • Fay flinched when Zander clapped his hands together unexpecting the sudden noise. When he came to her side and leaned in her breathing quickened. She tried to hide it the best she could, but something about him just set her nerves on fire. She listened to the alpha carefully when he spoke and when he was gone she breathed a sigh of relief. She looked at the table, smiled and buried her head in her hands trying to hide the smile.

  • Zander straightened himself up, and walked to his magnificent room to get ready. He briskly set out along the long corridors of the pack house until he reached the wooden door to his room. He opened it quickly, and slammed the door behind him. He took in a shuddering breath to calm his heart rate. He slid down the side of his door, and ran his fingers through his hair. There was something about that Fay girl that he couldn't quite put his finger on. He ran his hand down his face, and stood up. He had to get ready for this "meeting" of his.

  • Fay cleaned her area and walked back to her room quickly. She would have to look presentable for Zander at this meeting he was calling for all the unmated females. She looked at herself in the mirror and gave a small frown. Her hair was wild and her face was bright red. She took a few slow, deep breathes and pretty soon her face returned to its natural ivory. Focusing on her hair she pulled out a straightener and attempted to tame the brown mass of tangles. After a while of work her hair was straighter than it'd ever been. She was pleased with her work and left the room.

  • Zander walked to the bathroom and took out his styling gel. He styled his hair so it was parted and swooped over to the left. He stood back and sighed, knowing his hair wouldn't get any better from the mess that it was. He stepped out of the bathroom and walked to his huge closet. He opened the white doors, and searched the clothes for a suit.
"Ah here we go." he said, taking it out and admiring it. He stripped off his clothes, and quickly changed into the black suit. He walked over to his big mirror and checked himself out. He nodded in approval and set out to leave the room.

  • Fay slowly approached the meeting area, feeling nervous. 'What would happen at this meeting? What if she was chosen? What did that even mean 'chosen'?',she thought to herself. She looked at the few other females that had already arrived. She approached them with a kind smile and waited for the meeting to start.

  • Zander walked briskly to the meeting place and took a deep breath in before he entered. He kept his eyes on the back wall, ignoring the lined up females. He waltzed to his throne-like chair, and seated himself upon it. He looked out onto the sea of faces, and caught the eye of the fair Fay Hendrix. He felt himself shiver with some unknown emotion. He shook it off and looked at the other people at the meeting.
"I'm fairly sure you females all know why you're here." he heard a low murmur of agreement to his statement.
"I need a mate. Now I will call each of your names and you will come up and we will touch. If I feel the pull of the mate bond, I will try to make you mine. If you not, you will be sent back to your daily lifes. The first name, Amelia Aaron." his deep voice rang out, and he saw many females lower their eyes in submission.

  • Fay caught the alpha's eye before he had called out the first female's name. When he looked away she looked down. Her palms were damp with her nervous sweating. She rubbed her hands on her pants to calm herself. She took a deep breath, raised her head, and drew herself to her full height. She best look confident in front of everyone. She waited patiently for her own name to be called.

  • It had been what felt like thousands of names. Zander was more and more frustrated every time a new name was called. He yawned when the next female had stepped in and quickly did the "touch test" to see if she was the one. He knew that she wasn't, and waved her off immediately.
"Send for the next one." he said with a tone of boredom in his voice. A guard stepped out of the room that they were in and grabbed the list of names.
"Fay Hendrix." the guard said, and stepped back into the room. Zander straightened up for the female and waited patiently.

  • Fay had sat down, tired of standing for so long. When she finally heard her name called she jumped up. Her nerves suddenly returned and she felt her heartbeat race. She took a breath and followed the guard into the room. She found Zander sitting in a throne like chair. She walked towards the male, "Alpha". She gave a courtesy and waited for him to make a move.
