"'Someday' is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you." —Timothy Ferriss
Originally, this was supposed to go in the "About Me" section of my profile; however, it said it was too long. I wouldn't blame it. The following text contains a large blurb about myself, whilst the last two paragraphs have my role-play and activity information.
Bonjour, je m'appelle FadedFury mais je préfère Fury. That was french for "good day, my name is FadedFury but I prefer Fury." However, either Fade or Fury is fine. I will attempt to not bore you with my biography. I live in EST and I go by feminine pronouns. I speak mostly English and I'm attempting to learn French. I am a homebody who appears to only leave home for high school or to go on some usually small trip. Considering this, I often have quite a bit of time on my hands, in which I usually spend writing or on the internet. However, I would love to visit another country at some point in my life and I am contemplating on living somewhere in Europe.
I do not watch too much TV, which is likely the explanation as to why I am not into very many fandoms. Instead, I will often watch videos on youtube, which are mostly made up of animators and other artists, as well as music related channels and a select few gamers. While we are on the subject, music has rapidly become a large part of my life and I am into a wide variety of bands, songs and genres. In case you are interested in what sort of people I am subscribed to, here is a link to a list on google documents. The list has been included to basically act as a conversation starter. On a side note, I do not ship anything.
I do like to read when I have the motivation to, as well as delve into the very few web-comics that I am interested in - which consist of "Wilde Life", "Headless Bliss" and "Ava's Demon". When it comes to books, I am open to just about any genre as long as it contains an interesting plot and good story writing. The books I have read most recently are The Winter People by Jennifer McMahon and The Boy Who Drew Monsters by Kenith Donohue, both of which are very interesting reads that I would definitely recommend. Other books that I have quite enjoyed in the past consist of A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan, the Wolves of the Beyond book series by Kathryn Lasky, and Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions (otherwise known as What If) by Randall Munroe. The books I am currently working on would be The Sight by David Clement-Davis and The Bone Season, as well as its sequel The Mime Order, by Samantha Shannon. Lastly, the only graphic novel that I have ever read would be the Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children, in which I am working on getting the actual written book series. I've also read my fair share of astrological, dream interpretation, animal, and other informational books. Considering this, I do love to learn about all sorts of peculiar and not-so-peculiar things in the world around me - space and animals especially fascinate me. I also like to gather enormous quantities of absurd facts.
I am open to conversation, whether you would just like to chat or have a pending question that I will answer to the best of my ability. There is not much else I have to say other than the fact that I am somewhat of a role-player. This activity I engage in is merely to better my writing skills and keep them from getting rusty as I plan on becoming an author. However, I have almost completely dropped role-playing in order to focus all of my attention on working on a book that I have been planning for years. Nonetheless, as this website is a home for a portion of the role-playing community, I assume that I must provide you with some necessary information given that you have managed to read this far. I am a semi-advanced to advanced role-player whose activity is prone to fluctuating dramatically due to circumstances outside of the internet and/or a loss of inspiration (otherwise known as "muse" nowadays) for a random period of time.
I am mostly a one-on-one role-player, and I am open to forming private role-plays with other users. However, large group role-plays do not suit me as of this time. In the past, I had shown up around the main game non-traditional role-play section of this website under the username "homeless royalty". Even though I have since vanished from that portion of this website, I may or may not reappear there in the future. Concerning what I am interested in role-playing, I will do almost anything with the exception of the following plots for reasons that range from making me feel rather uncomfortable to the plots usually being incredibly cliche: completely revolving around any form of sexual relationships, slice-of-life, highschool, master x slave, bands, youtubers, furries, most fandom related role-plays, zombie apocalypse, and those that involve incest and pedophilia. Here is a link that will lead to a character hub of mine (currently does not exist, please do not click on it as it will take you nowhere). From there you can read into the forums of whichever character you like. If you have found a character of interest and have a plot in mind, or would like to do one of the plots I have already set up, then feel free to pm me. Just keep in mind that I am accustomed to writing longer posts - anywhere from three to five or more paragraphs (however, I am adaptable) - and that my activity fluctuates. Therefore, if you aren't bothered by usually slow role-plays or would actually like to role-play with someone who wouldn't mind your own lack of activity, then feel free to pm me.
