"What is... what is being an angel like? Is it any different than your life as a human thus far?" He asked, glancing in her direction.

"Hmm, it is kind of tough to describe how it is. It is different and you you can't feel any negative emotions. You just understand each other and its all piece, but... You are also given jobs" Neveah said trying her best to try and explain so he could get an idea.
-
"What kind of jobs could one get as angel?" He asked, continuing on doing what he could to know about the blond next to him.
-
"Typically, majority of the angels want to a guardian, others want to archangels, and so. If you are a guard, you are chosen to watch over a human, and you pretty much carry their sins in a way" She explains as she called to any information that she may have lodged in her brain. These things were just stuff, that for some reason, she already had knowledge of. Involuntary.
-
"Huh...." he hums, looking ahead of him before her again. "That's interesting. Angels are more complex than what I was taught as a boy back in hell. Then again Father always did try to twist things into his vision."
-
"You'd think that once you are in the after life, things would get simple. But, no. Things are complicated" Neveah replied vaguely, not wanting to share a piece of information wit him, since she had a feeling that if he knew, Cross wouldn't be pleased. "Anyways, how is life or whatever you call it, on the other side for you?"
-
Cross shrugs. "I've been born as a demon, raised as one. But if I were to compare it to what I've seen here on Earth, there's similarities. Hell, there's even a monarchy of sorts with Grandfather as a king of the underworld."
-
All Neveah does is hum in rely as she thought over what her new demon friend had said. " I used to wish things to not be so divided, but than... When I uh, died, things sort of made sense in a way and I understood why things had to happen. And why the world had to be the way it is today." The young angel voiced her thought to her friend as she continued on walking
-
"There has to be balance in the world. Demons can't exist without angels and vice versa. This whole potential war brewing for a very long time now is stupid. If either one of us is gone, then the fabric of reality as we know it is ripped apart which means God has to start all over."
-
"God doesn't want a war to happen. He doesn't comment on what is happening, and the oracles and archangels take control for him, while he just watches. It's obvious he knows what is going to happen and is letting everything take its course, but it still frustrates me that he hasn't said anything" Neveah ranted as she flailed her arms around and made hand gestures when she talked.
-
"I hate that he's willing to let everything to be destoryed just because He doesn't want to take away 'freewill' from anyone. If this war happens, none of us will survive unless He does something about it."
-
Neveah remained quiet as she sighed and rubbed her face to try and calm down. She was feeling various emotions coursing through her and had to calm down in order to sort them and figure out what they meant. Neveah didn't like that way he spoke about God, but she blamed it on being an angel since she felt protective over God. "Let's change the topic shall we? Let's talk about something that won't work us up"
-
He sighs, calming down a bit. "Yeah... let's change the topic." He agreement softly. He couldn't help but act like this when it came to the coming war and how God is handling this.
-
Offering a small smile she grabs his hand and says,"Truce?" Neveah was hoping that this small act would be able to calm him down, since talking about the upcoming war is a touchy subject of sorts.
-
He gave her a nod, slowly meeting her gaze. "Truce. No more talking about that subject. It is now taboo to utter a word about it."
-
Neveah giggled and nods her head. Wanting to hold his hand a bit longer, Neveah keeps on walking and takes in the amount of daylight that they have left before she had to leave. I wonder when I'll be able to come down here again... Hope I don't take too long
-
"How often do you have the ability to visit earth?" He asked, glancing at her as they continue the stroll.
-
Neveah just shrugged her shoulders,"I have no idea. This is my first time ever coming down here, so I don't know when I'll be able to come down here again" The young angel sighed and her eyes dulled a bit and showed her emotion that she was feeling
-
He frowns. "It could potentially be years before you can return with permission. Time runs differently there so it could be a long time before I could see you again."
-
Hearing him actually say it out loud, made the deal that much more real. All though it would fly by fast for her in her time, she knew that the time in Earth was slower. Neveah didn't want to miss a chance having to spend time with Cross. "I'm not liking this" She whimpered slightly and dropped her hand from his.
