  • "Mm... I'll try not to." He murmured, pulling Nev in for a good hug. This gives him a chance to remember her scent and her warmth until they can meet again, however long it'll be before her return to Earth."

  • Neveah took in his warmth and burned the image into her mind so she could still remember him. "When I leave it would be best if you removed my scent from you... Don't want anyone finding out that we are friends" She was saddened at the thought of having to hide, but she also didn't want a war to happen.

  • "When aren't angel safe?" Releasing him from the hug she offers him a soft smile and steps around him to head back to the spot where he had descended from. "Don't worry too much, I'll come back and find you" She had tilted her head to the side and send him one final reassuring look.

  • 2 DAYS LATER~

Neveah had been kept busy for the last couple of days, in between getting assigned and speaking with the oracle and a few higher ups. Everyday, Neveah always had the pendant that Cross had given her and even read the book. She was amazed at his writing skills and felt that she learned something new about Cross, like discovering a hidden treasure. 'Wonder what he's up too'

  • Cross had spent that time, continuing to write his current book. Now that he got to meet Nev, he created a new character like her to interact with his book counterpart. He waits for her return, glancing at the sky often in hope to find her returning.

  • "Ooh good! I caught up to you on time~" The young oracle announced as he used his wings to cut short the distance between them. " Nev, you are all cleared. Apparently someone put in a good word for you that HE approved of your position." WIth a sweet grin he handed over a folder to Neveah that held all the information of her human.

Feeling ecstatic, Neveah released a loud squeal and jumped on her feet. The oracle laughed at her excitement,"Shouldn't you be heading out for your assignment?" At this Neveah nodded her head quickly and her mind was plagued at the thought of seeing Cross again.

  • Similarly to before, Cross sat under a tree in the park where he first and last saw Nev. Oh how he hopes that she'll come through the same gate and meet him there. If not it's just a matter of waiting for her to find him through that necklace of his.

  • With her heart quickly pumping in her chest, she flew to the heaven golden gates. She gave a small curtsey to the guards and stood at the edge. Grasping her necklace she thought,'I'm coming Coss' Neveah clasped her hands over the pendant encasing it in her hands and allowed for it to lead her towards him. "Found you"Neveah whispered under her breath when she descended to the park.

  • Barefoot once again, her small feet touched the ground and folded her wings before making them disappear. Her smile widened at the sight of him, and seeing him again made her realize that she had missed him more than she had thought,"Told you I'd be back! I wasn't going to be away for too long:"

  • Neveah closed the gap between them wrapping her arms around his waist. "I read your book by the way. You are an amazing writer" She compliments and lifts her head to shoot him a smile to prove she was sincere

  • "Can't wait to read it" She loosened her hold on him and pulled back," What have you done while I was gone? Oh and how long was I gone? "She asked as she tilted her head confused

  • Neveah inwardly winced at the thought of having so much time pass by. All that time passed quickly and Neveah felt compelled to make up for lost time. "Wow... You weren't in any trouble right? I'd hate for something bad to happen" The angel asked worried and felt the doubts plague her mind at the thought of someone catching him

  • "Sorry if I'm being a bit of a worry wort. I just got worried for you and was scared that we might of been found out and that the demons might of done something terrible to you. Something that I don't think I'll be able to deal with if you were to get hurt" Neveah rambled, her thoughts released the bottle of doubt that she had kept at bay. She felt everything spue out of her in one breath.
