  • "After years of police work, we officers often can't help but be influenced by the cynicism we feel."

    {Scratching the Surface}

    Name:
    "Detective Evan Tully, of the Police Department here in town."
    Age (Mental, Physical, Chronological/Biological):
    "Well, they're all one and the same, I guess. 34."
    Sex/Gender:
    "Male."
    Body modifications (Tatoos, Piercings, Scars, etc):
    "They're not allowed on the Force, something I agree with."
    Physical disorders/Cronic illnesses:
    "Nope. Have to be healthy to be a Policeman."
    Original species:
    "Human. What else would I be?"
    Initial rank:
    "Well, we on the force start out as Cadets..." Police Officer

    {Going under}

    Mental disorders:
    "Well, aside from a little stress, a little PTSD, and a little depression, I'm as happy as a clam!" Extremely Depressed, but won't show it.
    Traits (3 positive, 3 negative. Neutrals are optional):
    Very brave, courageous, kind, and helpful. Alone, though, he's very depressed and guilty over every life he's taken as an Officer. He knows he can't save the world, and he hates himself for it. The ends do not justify the means for him.
    Personality overall (1+ paragraphs. Remember though, quality over quantity):
    Usually a very kind and cheerful man, he's often seen around the office with a cup of coffee and a smile, and wants everyone to be just as happy as he is. He's considered the pride of the Department, and everyone says he's next in line to be Police Chief when the current one retires. But he doesn't have a family, and years of keeping the peace have taken their toll on this happy soul, leading it to the darker edges of despair. At his apartment, he often sits in his chair, a shot of whisky in his hand, and stares at the gun on the table, wondering if he should just end his misery now. He's good friends with his old partner, Alexander Anderson, and they're the only person to see this darker side of him. it's usually them that keeps Evan from ending his own life. But, every morning, the Detective wakes up and puts on his uniform, grabs a cup 'a Joe, and heads to the office, cheerful as ever.
    History (Optional):
    "Well, my record shows. I was a Jail Guard in my early 20s, and boy did they like me! I never did any prisoner wrong, and they all preferred me to any other cop who came in. Needless to say, they weren't very happy when I told them I had gotten a job here as a full-time cop. that was probably about 27 or so, so 7 years on the force here. It's a nice place, although some weird stuff happens a lot. Records of people showing up at the hospital with neck marks... But vampires don't exist, right? probably just some wannabe nerd who likes to go on rampages and try to be cool. My old Partner, Alexander Anderson, and I were on a case a while ago. I told him to drop it, but he wouldn't. We eventually let him go, and He quit the Department. The shrinks here have labelled him as insane, but I don't know..."
    Family:
    "My father, Gerald Tully, and my mother, Hannah Tully, both live in the farm, a good day's drive away or so. Didn't need them worrying about me. And I got a little sister, too, Abigail, who lives with them still, since she's only 16. She says she wants to visit me, and how could I say no to her?"

    {What makes your heart beats}

    Sexuality/Romanticity:
    "Straight. Got nothing against the LGBTQ community, though."
    Crush/Boyfriend/Girlfriend/Colourful friend:
    "Not yet. Don't think I'll ever be ready for that."
    Former relationships:
    "I had a sweetheart in high school, but we went our separate ways."
    Status:
    "Single."

    {This is your originality}

    Roleplayer's screen name:
    Spudbob
    Activity/Muse level:
    Again, very high.
    Other shenanigans (Character related or not):
    Y'know, I'll probably make his Sister, Abigail, too, one day. After all, Vampires love sweet young teenage girl blood, right? :3 Additionally, I'll probably make her as a Hunter, under the tutelage of Alex.

    *Ahem* Also additionally, I will get Bob's position on Alexander and Evan having been old partners, and if Abi would be his student.

  • "I love being a teen because you don't have all the responsibilities of an adult yet."

    {Scratching the Surface}

    Name:
    "Abigail Tully, but everyone calls me Abi."
    Age (Mental, Physical, Chronological/Biological):
    "Silly, aren't you? Physically, I'm 16. Mentally, I'm probably, like, 18, but my older brother says I still act like a kid."
    Sex/Gender:
    "I'm a girl, what do you think?"
    Body modifications (Tatoos, Piercings, Scars, etc):
    "My brother'd kill me if I did."
    Physical disorders/Cronic illnesses:
    "None."
    Original species:
    "umm, human, Are you an idiot?"
    Initial rank:
    "Is this the Military? I'm a normal person!" Hunter Aide, hopefully of Alexander.

    {Going under}

    Mental disorders:
    "nope!"
    Traits (3 positive, 3 negative. Neutrals are optional):
    +Like her brother, she's always cheery, and helpful, and brave. She thinks not of herself when rushing into danger, or at least would like to think so, since she never has run into danger.
    -Acts like a brat every now and then, especially when she thinks something exciting is going on. Likes to disobey her brother, and has a knack of landing in trouble, due to a mixture of bad luck and not thinking things through.
    Personality overall (1+ paragraphs. Remember though, quality over quantity):
    The teenager that is Abi is a wild and crazy creature that doesn't quite understand life yet. She doesn't get that her brother does the stuff so that he can keep her safe, and just thinks he doesn't want her to have fun. She's bossy, stubborn, and doesn't seem to care for her own life, while entertaining delusions of grandeur that aren't happening.
    History (Optional):
    The only other child of Gerald and Hannah Tully, she's a far cry from her much older brother, who's more than double her age. She lived a life of freedom, as her parents by now were too old to really keep her in check. When she failed some high school classes, they sent her to Evan for the summer, hoping he might be able to instill some discipline into her. She's just reached the city, and is hoping to start a new life there, away from her parents.
    Family:
    "My older brother the dickwad, Mom, and Dad. Grandpa and Grandma already bought the farm, I mean, they bought it for... ah hell, they died before I was born."

    {What makes your heart beats}

    Sexuality/Romanticity:
    "Just trying out some new ideas" Bisexual
    Crush/Boyfriend/Girlfriend/Colourful friend:
    "There was a cute boy named Ashton Crutcher at my high school..."
    Former relationships:
    "I can see it now, 'Girl looks for new love in large city!'"
    Status:
    "Single Pringle, and ready to Mingle!"

    Roleplayer's screen name:
    Spudbob
    Activity/Muse level:
    Above
    Other shenanigans (Character related or not):
    With Britishbob's agreement, I want her to become a sort of Aide to Alexander and help her delve into the deeper things going on in the city.
    Anyways, Does this City have a name?

    The post was edited 1 time, last by Spudbob ().

  • Great!
    I'm sure Abi will run into Alexander sometime. Maybe she meets a couple vampires of the Lambs and Alex teaches her how to kill them to protect herself?

  • I'd like to reserve a blacksmith, please.

  • Okay. Both blacksmiths are reserved. I'll be adding the approved characters so far to the list and no, there's not a roleplay thread. Yet. Also, I'll be creating a discussion/plotting thread that I'll be linking on the first post, so be aware of that. And yes, this city has a name. The roleplay actually will go all around the world, but it will start in London, just because I was dumb and didn't plan this beforehand. I've been thinking about setting this around the Country and City of Swansea, in Wales. That's up to you folks. I think I'll put up a pool in the discussion thread when I'm done creating it.

  • Also, I've told this before. They operate in the greatest discretion protocol ever. There are vampires out there that claim to be part of the Lambs, but in reality, the true Lambs rarely even leave the outskirts of their HQ. It would be far-fetched to think Abi will 'meet' them, rather, she would find those fanboys who claim to be Lambs, even though they've never had any contact with them.

  • Explains how Anderson found them. Any true member of the Lambs wouldn't brag, so these little brats boasting would primarily the ones he runs into. I assume Servants are the most likely to leave the HQ to get things?

  • Yes. Only those who have orders from either the Advisors, Orwin himself or the Lord, however. Orwin also commonly accompanies them to make sure they don't screw up. They go fetch supplies every two weeks around 2am, with Orwin giving the Servant in question a vial that makes their body create waves that interfere with cameras and such, making recordings of them useless. Given how he's constantly refining this vial in question, not even cameras built for countering his strategy will work.

  • Alex? Alexander wouldn't warn her away, he'd probably end up looking at her as a form of Protege. If anything it would be Sophia who would be more likely to try and keep Abi out, seeing as her history with the Black Lamb isn't a fully trusting one.

  • The vial increases the electric signals sent by the body to a degree that it interferes so much with both video and normal cameras, that most if not all that is captured by them is completely overrun by an irreversible static effect, that makes it impossible to make details out of it. Sorry, but that is something he developed off a dead body, while he was studying the neural system of the humans (It is different from the vampires's, explaining why they don't die after taking the vial, because let us say that to disrupt nearby electronic devices to that point, one's body should have some reaaaaaally serious amount of static runing through it, like, it's pretty much lethal to humans. It does affect vampires, as they become dazed, almost paralyzed for about half a hour after taking it, but they don't die).
