Sweetophelia didn't truly have any family in BlizzardClan or anyone else for whom it was imperative to inform in private, and so the Ragdoll had come to conclude that there was nothing else holding her back from going public with the news. After all, even if she chose to remain silent on the matter, the reality of the situation would have become clear to all observers in due time. A swollen stomach wasn't exactly easy to hide, especially not when she possessed the body of a domestic feline, a typically slender species.

Stepping outside of her home, she glanced around, her words slowly coming to her. Now that Mary was gone - mysteriously disappeared - there were no medics remaining in BlizzardClan. She would have to seek out Kamari and hope for the best. "In case you were wondering, I'm going to start picking up a bit of weight soon. I'm pregnant again." It was awkward making such an announcement to her clanmates but at least this way she could avoid the future weeks of awkward beating around the bush as clanmates sought to figure out whether or not she was pregnant without insulting her sudden weight gain. In truth, Sweetophelia was quite pleased to be expecting children - her twins were already grown at this point - but her happiness had been diminished in light of the recent developments.

  • [center][fancypost= bgcolor= opacity: 0.5; borderwidth=0px; width: 450px;][font=times new roman][align=justify]Pierce's ears swiveled to the sound of Sweetophelia's voice. Turning his head, he slowly wandered over. Gaining weight? He hadn't been around her enough to notice if it had already started. He eyed her stomach momentarily before looking back up at the Ragdoll's face. I'm pregnant again.

He was shocked by the absence of sheer disappointment, jealousy, and anger coursing through his veins. The one thing he could think was, Ugh. Seriously? The serval gazed down at her, eyes almost emotionless. The passerby might view his expression as bored, which could be a real shocker to Sweet, as she knew how protective he had been of his friend, and crush, Riddlersgame in the past. Instead, he watched the she-cat silently. Eventually, he blurted, "You're serious?" It was a question, though it came out as more of a statement. Well, then, Riddlersgame and Sweetophelia were having children. Why was Pierce not raging right now, not crying?

What if he was getting over the tabby?

Another thought popped into his head, this one strangely unrelated to his previous question - what would he be to these kits? Would they view him as an uncle, a brother, or just their father's weird friend? Huh. Guess he wouldn't know till they came. He would have said more, maybe even congratulated Sweetophelia on her growing family, but for some reason, he didn't. It wasn't envy or fury, or that he wanted to offend Sweet, he just didn't feel like it. Weird. Instead of speaking, he stared at the pregnant female standing in front of him, not making a sound.

  • Wisteria's whiskers twitched as the news was told. At first, she was confused. Okay, so Sweet was going to get fat, so what? Personally, she wouldn't announce that to the Clan. Then, after a bit of thinking, and her past self murmuring something connecting pregnancy to kits, the child bounced up. Still technically a kit herself, she was excited to have more friends to play with.

"Oh! When are they coming? Will they be big enough to play with? Can I be their friends?" childish questions, of course. But the most important ones to her.
