  • (Finn's looking at the trooper's shock weapon thinking, 'why didn't I get one of those?' XD)
"Okay, let's get number 8 here then!" Tetra yelled, moving to stand at the door, avoiding puddles like the plague. "I don't know about you, but I usually sleep for 9 hours. It's not as much time as you think..."

Chip looked at Tetra, and nodded. "Tetra makes some good sense. what, 1, 2, 5, and 6? So that's..." she paused to look around for a second. "Iroh, Myself, Mentalist, and Rowdy. We should get going through door 5." She reread the rules, just in case. "Okay, where in here does it say that 4 people have to stay behind? It says, '3-5 people may enter a door' and that 'People may not enter the Numbered Door after another group of people if the Puzzle Room is still activated.' So once the puzzle's solved, there's no restrictions on who enters a door now, is there?"
(Great, I feel like she and Lucky are going to be, like, co-leaders. And probably one of the 4 to stay behind if need be.)

((Oh yeah, Lucky would definitely stay behind if someone needed them to cx Plus, 9 doesn't change a digital root. So it would be kinda odd.))

"That's if there's a puzzle behind Door 9, sweetheart. What if it just leads out? That means Door 9 will never disengage." Rowdy grumbled, though he did truly hope that Chip was right. He hoped that they wouldn't have to leave anyone. That would just be... cruel. Then again, if those people were to be 'eliminated', that would be a lot swifter than dying from drowning, right? He shook the thought from his head and went up to the Door 5 scanner, placing his hand on it and then simply stepping back. "Eterna, then. Sounds good to me." That provoked another thought in his head. If someone was dead, their bracelet would come off. Could you then use that bracelet to go through doors as long as you activated it and deactivated it like the others?

"There shouldn't be, but just incase, we should leave the exit door propped open if we can, just in case we need to get back. There's several floors to this ship, that means it's very likely that some paths will overlap." Lucky answered, nodding at the thought. Sure, they'd be through and the puzzle would be complete, but wouldn't they have to reactivate the door? If they left the exit door propped open, at least that meant anyone could now go into the room.

  • "I'm going to keep calling you Goose." Tetra muttered, uncaring, leaning up against door 4. "So, 9 doors, right? well, then we know the location of 2, numbers 4 and 5. Would that mean that the closer to the top we get, the smaller the number, or the opposite? If we can find out where the 8 Puzzle doors are, the 9th one shouldn't be to hard, right?"

Chip smiled, but refused to face the truth. "Nah, we're all getting out. I'll find a way." She splashed in the puddles as she pressed her hand over the indent, watching as a second asterisk appeared, and her jewelry beeped. "Hopefully there's something good behind this door..." 2 and 6, so they needed One, Iroh and Five, Mentalist, to open the door.

((Recap: 2 and 6, Chip/Dueces and Rowdy/Gold, respectively, have exited the starting rooms. Everyone is now scanning to go through a numbered door. 1, 2, 5, and 6 are going through five, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 are going through 4. Speak now if you want to go through a different door?))

  • (Nah. Orion will go through the door she scanned. She's probably too afraid to do anything else, the dork.)

Orion was hesitant. "Are we sure all of this is right? I mean, I don't wanna make all this worse, but I'm too afraid that I'll, I mean we'll mess up, and I don't wanna see what happens if-when we do. I'm a bit afraid." She kept stammering over her words, like she was hiding something.

"It would probably be safe to assume there are only nine numbered doors, yes. Though zero never pointed out how many existed. He just said there were several numbered doors, and that we needed to find a door with a nine on it." Rowdy said, rethinking the paper in his head. Something in his stomach stirred, like he was probably being too off chart with that one. He personally didn't feel too comfortable around any of these people, especially that one with the dyed green hair. They bothered him a lot, but it was perhaps because he thought he had seen them before. But then again, he did live in a big city.

"I like your optimism! Hopefully it'll rub off on others." Lucky smiled at Chip's idea of making sure everyone got out. Yes, that optimism is what everyone needed right now to keep things going. "It is a bit scary," Taylor answered Orion with a nod, but smiled to help comfort her. "But we'll never get anywhere if we don't try."

"Yes, we wouldn't want things to get much worse than they already are. We already have to worry about me and Chip getting hypothermia." Rowdy grumbled, rolling his eyes, though most of it was said under his breath and unheard. He honestly was being so crude because of all the insane stress that had hit him in the face within the last few minutes.

((If you want, you can simply say Kayla scanned for now? That way everyone can open the door.))

  • (hey, wynaut.)
Tetra watched Kayla scan the door. a fifth asterisk appeared, and with a sigh, Tetra put his hand on the lever. "Ready?" he asked the other four people he was going in with. He swore, if this room was full of that liquid, he would rather die from explosion than go in there.

Chip shrugged, grabbing at her drying hair. "It's not that bad. it's warm, so it's gotta be in the tropics somewhere, right? We can sunbathe when we leave!"

"Ready. If anyone hesitates to go in, no one go through. We don't want to leave someone behind and end up killing ourselves in the process." Taylor answered, nodding as they looked to the people around and back to the door. "We'll also have to deactivate our bracelets as soon as possible."

Rowdy grumbled to himself, but nodded well enough. He supposed she was right, but he still felt unsure. It could have just been the worry from the doors, though.
