  • Sophia walked down the corridor, wishing she had a gun, longing for the comfort of a firearm. Hell, even a Kolibri 2mm would've been better than being unarmed in a potentially hostile environment. At least with a weapon, she could bring threats down, but as it stood she would have to incapacitate anything with just her hands, which was not something she particularly wanted to do.

Iroh looked between the two doors, debating internally before turning to the others "Dochira no doa?"

    Translation: "Which Way?"

  • (What, that little teacup? XD)
Tetra rushed after Lucky, and scanned his bracelet next, breathing a sigh of relief. "Alright, which door do we go in?"

Chip heard the remark, and translated, "He's asking which way, I think. I listen to a lot of songs, and I even read translations if they're in another language. I think that phrase, Dochira no doa, is in a song I listened to and it was asking someone the way in the translation."

  • Orion practically slammed her hand on the DEAD and sighed in relief when it beeped in response, and the skull on her bracelet returned to its regular overlay of 3. "Phew..." She breathed deeply for a moment, focusing on calming herself down. Once she didn't feel her heart beating out of her chest (metaphorically, of course), she tuned back in to the conversation. "Uhm...where to go..." She looked around a bit, examining the hallways. "It wouldn't be good to split up when we rely on each other to get through the numbered doors, so...." She seemed to be lost in thought.

"Eh, if it's unlcoked, go for it." Rowdy said, not waiting for an answer. He simply tried to open the door, happily finding that it was unlocked.
"Perfect, there you go." He swung the door open, but didn't enter, and inside laid the First Class Cabin, fancily decorated and beautiful, even with a piano. However, the exit door looked like it was locked oddly.

"Well..." Lucky said, wiggling the doorknobs of each of them. "It looks like... this one is locked." They indicated the double doors with the Mars symbol engraved on the handle. When they tried the other two, however, they opened fine, and seemed to be rooms that were supposed to be laid out symmetrical opposites of each other. "I suppose we could go into either. There's no exit inside them, so ithere's probably something to be figured out."

  • "A Piano!" Chip cried as she dashed inside the room. She quickly sat down and her fingers danced along the ivory keys, a grin lighting up her face. She winced, as it was very out of tune, but it still sounded just as sweet as anything. Soon, Elton John was playing, as she adjusted the keys to their out-of-tune state, hitting a G where she'd normally hit an A Flat.
(Anybody not see this coming? I did. from the moment I read that the First-Class cabin had a piano, and she was going through that door, I knew she'd do that. XD)

Tetra shrugged. "Long as they're both high and dry, I'll go anywhere."
(Poor guy; I'd hate to see him locked in a freezer, where he'd have to use his greatest fear, Water, to escape. Ironic, funny, but still empathetic.)

((I imagined that she'd be over joyed to see the piano c': And well, let's just hope he doesn't walk in the freezer in the kitchen then xD))

"You're overly excited." Rowdy managed a chuckle, though he was secretly impressed at her skill with the instrument. His eyes laced around the room, trying to find out anything of interest. Most of it was just amazement about how much money could be in one room- and the thoughts to pilfer it, though he'd have to avoid getting caught by the others. He walked over to the bed, and after noticing the pillow looked odd, lifted it up to find a score plate with 'A' etched into the bottom. It didn't look like it was worth anything.
    "What's this?"

"Well, then I suppose either way would work." Taylor smiled, picking a random door and walking into the room with 'B92' on the metal plate outside. Eyes flickering around, they realized what the room was.
"It's just a cabin meant for guests." They spoke their thoughts aloud, and then pointed out the matches on the table.

  • Chip turned the tune to something soft, so she could hear what the others were talking about. She stopped playing to stand and take a look at what Rowdy had found. "It's a score, like in music." she informed him, grabbing it from him without thinking. "it looks like it was part of a song." she dashed over to the piano again, and played the 4 notes. Nothing. "Maybe there's more?"

Tetra went into the room. And grabbed the matches. "Rowdy might want these." he muttered to himself, remembering the cigarette case the boy had found in his pocket. He went into the door, finding an almost exact copy of the room he had just left. creepy.

((Yes, Orion is in Door 4 with Tetra, Lucky, Sophia and Kayla. Chip, Iroh, Mentalist, and Rowdy are in Door 5.))

"Hum. Yeah, then there are probably more around here that make something when it's put together." Rowdy shrugged, giving her the plate since she seemed so fascinated with the Piano.

Lucky wandered past the cabinet, somewhat concerned that it looked mostly empty to them, and into the bedroom. Well, that would be helpful!
"There's a map in here!" They called, pulling it down from the wall.

((//rushed, bell is about to ring!!))

  • "Great. Does it show which door is where?" Sophia asked, jogging through the door a short time after Lucky "If it does, we can work out where we are and which way we have to go."

Iroh was doing... well, nothing. He had followed the group into the room, but beyond that he had done little after deactivating his bracelet. He couldn't understand any of the others and as such was somewhat useless for the situation at hand.

  • (Guess I should keep this going)
Chip looked around, even going into other rooms. she opened a dresser, pushing the clothes aside, and to her surprise, she found another plate! the two plates didn't fit together, though, so she guessed that they were missing another piece. "keep looking. there's gotta be more pieces."

Tetra mumbled, eyes shifting around in this creepy look-alike room. one of the differences was that there was a candle on the desk, which tetra thought odd. It wasn't lit, but it looked like normal wax. He opened a door into a dark room, and glanced back at the candle, fingering the matchsticks in his pocket. Adapting, he grabbed the candle and lit it with a stick, careful to save the others for Rowdy, should he ever find some cigs. "And god said 'let there be light'," he muttered as he stepped into the dark room, the candle lighting it up well enough.

  • "Wonder if there's any windows..." Orion murmured to herself. She missed seeing the stars more than anything right now. She glanced at the map for a long while, trying to remember it in her head, but she realized the others had moved on and rushed after them. It was awfully dark, it reminded her of staying outside at night, and in a way, it was sort of conforting- until she realized her situation again and went right back to being nervous.

(Just realized I haven't posted for Orion in a while. Hopefully this doesn't lack substance or anything, still grasping what's going on.)

"No, at least, not numbered doors." Lucky answered, looking it over as they took it down from the wall. "This looks like maybe it was a map before the ship was renovated for the game... and, to be honest, it looks like B Deck floor blueprints for the Titanic." The person answered, offering to hand it to her so she could see it. He then looked around the rest of the room, finding a key in the vanity drawer.

"Got it," Rowdy called back, and began to search around the cabin as she asked. After walking down the hall, he stopped before two doors. He raised an eyebrow at a gorgeous vase, trying to measure up its value. It certainly... looked expensive. The boy picked it up, turning it over in his hands.

  • Tetra set the candle down on the vanity, where it lit up a fair bit of room. He tried pulling on the Vanity drawer, finding it locked. Dam*. He looked around, and his eyes landed on a shower curtain, which sat in the middle of a bed. He picked it up, curious as to why a shower curtain was in the middle of a bed...

Chip glanced at the Vase. Rowdy seemed to be eying it. "What did you do before you arrived here? Were you an appraiser?" She asked, returning to the room Rowdy was in.

After finding nothing else of use in the other room, Lucky trailed into the opposite room, finding it somewhat odd that it looked like the opposite of the one they had just left.

Rowdy was startled by her voice, almost dropping the vase but skillfully catching it before it hit the ground. He smiled lightly, letting out a nervous laugh.
"Sorry, startled me." He rubbed the back of his head with his free hand. "Uh, yeah, an appraiser. This is probably a three hundred dollars vase."

  • "Why do all these rooms just look the same?" Orion groaned, thinking aloud. "I'd like if there was a window somewhere..." She sighed, glancing at her bracelet. She just wanted to see the night sky.

  • "Hey, need some help here!" Tetra called from the dimly lit bedroom. His smallish size couldn't carry the shower curtain itself, he needed someone else to help carry it. "I wanna hang this up in the bathroom, where there's actual light. I think there may be something written on it."

Chip shrugged, finding no use in the pretty thing, as she walked back into the first room. She wouldn't have thought of checking the fire, if it hadn't been for the crackle of wood in her ears. She sat cross-legged in front of the fireplace, entranced by the dancing orange and yellow flames.

  • "Ah!" Orion instinctively ran after Tetra, gripping onto the curtain with all of the strength she could. "S-sorry, I'm not that strong..." She mumbled, unsure if anyone could hear her. She pushed forward. How dimly lit it was didn't seem to bother her at all. She did stay out in the dark a lot..

Hey, guys! c': Sorry to butt in but I actually just broke free of my exams and the drama that ensued afterwards so I'll be able to come back to the roleplay if that's alright. I don't want to just throw myself back into the story without asking first, though, so if rejoining this late into the roleplay bothers anybody I don't mind not hopping in just yet. ouo
