  • [fancypost=background-color:transparent; border-width: 0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px;]The Heli chirped cheerfully in reply, flashing Andrew a toothy smile. "No problem!" He hummed, glancing back up at the scene before him. When he looked back down, he noticed Andrew had his eyes closed. "You afraid of flying?" He mused, chuckling quietly. The air around them was starting to cool down rapidly; they were nearing his territory quite quickly. Caelus didn't want to get caught while he was with Andrew, since midair combat would endanger both of their lives. Gliding around the thin spires outlining the larger ones, the Heli chirped quietly when the cool air hit his face. Small snowflakes began to rain from the sky like glitter, and the jungle trees were quickly replaced by barren, snow-covered ones.

  • "N-no, I'm just not use to flying like this. I've always been in some kind of aircraft." He said. He felt the cooled air hit the skin on his face, causing him to shiver. Opening his eyes to see the transition between the two biomes. He felt a rush of fear seeing how high they were above then and instantly closed his eyes again. He felt felt the light snow fall hit his skin and melt upon contact.
"S-so, he ling tell we get to our destination?" He asked, stuttering from the cold.

  • [fancypost=background-color:transparent; border-width: 0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px;]Caelus squinted his eyes and gazed off into the distance, tilting his head to the side. "We're almost there, just a few more minutes," he chirped, quickening up his pace. The Heli could feel the Earthling shiver due to the cold, and grumbling quietly, he tried to speed up further. "There are warmer areas in the North, I'll take you there," he hummed, veering off to the left. A series of mountains could be seen in the distance, and billows of steam could be seen rising into the air. This area wasn't frequently visited by Heli, because creatures lived there.

  • "Alright" Andrew spoke. He was happy to hear they were almost there. He was also happy to hear that there was warm places up north. He began to think about that. Where they like the hot springs in Japan? He knew the winter in japan could be a bit brutal and that's how the Makas lived. They lived by swimming in the hot springs. He could feel the warmth get closer as they reached their destination.

  • [fancypost=background-color:transparent; border-width: 0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px;]When they reached the destination, Caelus gently set Andrew on the ground before landing himself, folding his wings to his back when his feet touched the ground. The stone underfoot was hot, almost to the point of discomfort, but it felt nice due to the frigid air around them. "We're here," Caelus chirped cheerfully as he approached the Earthling, extending a hand out to him. The Heli was visibly uncomfortable due to the heat directly touching his feet, and after a few moments he began to subtly squirm due to the uncomfortable feeling. He was used to treading over snow, not hot rocks.

    • Andrew's face lit up ad he planted his feet on the ground. He was so happy to feel the Earth beneath his feet. He also enjoyed the warmth given by this place. He noticed Caelus he could tell he was uncomfortable. "You ok?" He asked. He felt concerned for his newly met friend. Maybe this was the best of him.

  • [fancypost=background-color:transparent; border-width: 0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px;]It's totally fine!

Caelus was caught off guard yet again, and freezing up, he chucked quietly. "I'm...fine," he chirped in response, forcing himself to stop fidgeting around. He didn't want Andrew to worry, since that would lead to issues. Glancing at his injured arm, the Heli slowly approached him and gently grabbed it, lifting it up slightly. "Ouch..." he hissed, examining it from multiple angles.

  • Andrew tensed at the others touch. The cut was still pretty sore. The redness of the wound took up half his upper arm. He hoped it hadn't gotten infected. "Yeah, I got this from the crash" He spoke. "I also have several other cuts, bit this is the worst." He hoped it would stop bleeding, or he would probably bleed out, "um, gotta extra cloth or something? I need to stop the bleeding."

  • [fancypost=background-color:transparent; border-width: 0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px;]Caelus hummed in response when Andrew mentioned cloth or anything to stop the bleeding; he always kept bandages on his person when adventuring. Blood attracted creatures, and not all of them were friendly. Rummaging through a small bag strung around his right shoulder, he fished out a roll of bandages, then slowly began to wrap up the bleeding wound. "I have supplied back at my camp, but it's far from here," he sighed, gazing off into the distance. His wings twitched subconsciously, yearning to be used.

  • "thanks for patching me up" He thanked Caelus. He was lucky he was prepared for a situation like this. He could tell this place wasn't for Cealus it was probably to hot and the rocks were very warm to the touch. He stood there enjoying the warmth for a few more moments then turned to Caelus, "ok, let's go," Andrew said.

  • [fancypost=background-color:transparent; border-width: 0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px;]Caelus was takes aback. "Do you not like the warmth?" he inquired, tilting his head to the side. Why did the human want to leave? Did he notice his discomfort? The Heli made a curious noise in his throat, then fell silent. "Well, if you want to go, let's go then," he sighed, and fluttering back up into the air, he let his arms hang low. A bewildered expression was upon his face.

  • He knew Cealus was confused, but didn't explain himself. He enjoyed it here but the other obviously didn't. He felt bad watching the other shift around trying to get comfortable. The hot rock probably would have burned the others "feet" and He didn't want that to happen.

  • [fancypost=background-color:transparent; border-width: 0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 11px;]When he didn't respond, Caelus' bewildered expression remained, and became more apparent. Without another word he hooked his arms under Andrew's shoulders and took off, leaving the warm mountains behind. Occasionally, he'd glance down at the Earthling, the confused look still upon his face. Eventually, the warm air completely disappeared, turning frigid once again.

Below them, various tall, spire-like buildings could be seen. Upon closer inspection, one would notice they had only three walls, the fourth replaced by what looked like a giant doorway of sorts.

  • Andrew sighed. He could see that the others confusion only grew. He finally answered him. "If you're wondering why I said to leave it's because you kept shifting around. I felt worried that the hot rocks may burn you," he said. As the heat disappeared he was a tiny bit more tolerant to the cold air now surrounding him. He forced himself to looked down, only for a second theimitdeitly closed his eyes once more. He saw a small glimpse of the buildings below him. They were strange from what he saw. They were fundamentally the same as back on the earth, but with strange twist.
