"You mispronounced 'great,'" Tendaji chirped.

“I meant that it’s so bad it’s good.” He murmured, kissing her nose.
-
She closed her eyes, her cheeks now dusted with pink. "Thank you! I do my best."
-
“At least I know that you’ll keep me laughing for a long time.” He told her, chuckling softly in amusement at her adorable blush.
-
"And if it stops, you know something's wrong," she added. "Unless we're in combat! Then it's just me, focusing."
-
“Mmhm, and I’ll be looking forward to even the corniest jokes you have up your sleeves.” He said.
-
Tendaji beamed. "How insensitive. Don't you know pirates can't buy corn? It's so expensive... It's like, a buck an ear! We can get six for that price."
Hey, he asked for it.
-
He snickers. “I did say corny so that’s what I got.”
-
Tendaji winked at him. "Ask and you shall receive."
-
He smiles. “And how much does that include, hm?”
-
"...Ask and you shall receive, within reason," she corrected. "It depends on what you want."
-
He chuckles. “Well I’ll hold off a request for now. We need to settle into our home first and get used to raising dinosaurs.”
-
Tendaji narrowed her eyes. "What on earth were you going to request?"
-
“A family... with you.” He replied bluntly, showing how serious he is about it.
-
Tendaji was quiet for a moment, but seemed a bit shocked about the offer. "...When we get used to the dinosaurs, you will receive what you wish for."
-
He hums, nodding. “That’s fine. It would be for the best to wait until then.” He murmurs, offering her a smile.
-
Tendaji smiled lightly, looking up at the ceiling. "...A family... One of humans and dinosaurs, essentially. I'm sure they could be trained like pets."
-
“A likely possibility.” He said, grinning softly. “It’ll be interesting to see how that turns out.”
-
She snickered as a thought occurred to her. "...Let's just hope they don't flock to me, as animals tend to..."
-
“I’ll likely be the opposite. They run from me if I come close, most animals anyways.”
