  • The cashier just shot him a weird look and punched in the order, telling Leenalee the amount cost. She took out her bag from her side and handed him a few bills. " You won't regret trying these" She cheered, when the guy from the counter got their order ready and handed it to them along with the pie. "You can choose where you'd like for us to sit"

  • He shrugged cluelessly, frowning just slightly as he looked around the store, kind of happy to see so many people around the cafe but really clueless since some seats were left but in the middle of everybody, randomly placed tables at that. "U-Um... I... I don't know, maybe... O-Or we could... U-Um..."

  • Noticing that he wasn't able to make his mind, she lightly bumped her arm against his and nudged him towards an open table, that had just been cleared out. "It's okay this one just opened" Leenalee said with a smile as she walked towards the table and placed their drinks on the table before taking a seat.

  • He nodded quickly, 'unblocking' from the small confusion he got just trying to decide, quickly following her with a big smile and sitting right ahead of her, looking down at his drink and leaning in, sticking his tongue out just a bit as if he was going to drink like a dog, before he stopped and froze for a second, coughing and then grabbing onto it with his hand to lift it and take a sip. "..." He didn't say anything, blushing slightly.

  • Leenalee scrunched her face in confusion, when she caught his dog like actions. She hesitated on retrieving her pie," Ozzy... You remind me of a small puppy" She voiced, not being able to take her eyes away from him. Almost as if she stared a bit longer, than she would be able to find out why he behaved the way he did.

  • Ozzy felt his back stiffening when she said that, opening his mouth in a laid back manner as if to speak before he quietly closed it again, starting to laugh awkwardly as he raised his other hand and rubbed the back of his neck. "R-Really? T-That's good, hahaha... I guess..."

  • His reaction seemed to confuse her even more as she slowly unboxed her pie and took a small bite out of it. "Umm okay... So uh, Ozzy why don't you tell me about yourself?" She asked wondering if small talk would help him relax and maybe spill a few things about himself.

  • Ozzy nodded at her and tried to think of stuff he wouldn't find abnormal to say, even though he messed up with his wording. "U-Um, I'm... Ozzy, and like crowds.... I-I'm human.... Um... I really like meat too."

  • Leenalee found it rather odd in the way that he spoke. It peaked her interest, and wondered if it had to do with the fact that he no friends, so no one was able to teach him. "Ozzy but what about your family? Got any relatives?" She wondered, hoping if she knew their names, than she could know why he looked oddly familiar to her.

  • He nodded at her with a wide grin before he snapped out of it again, chirping happily as he started swinging left and right like a swaying ship on his chair. "Yeah, dad and mom are alive! Aren't yours too?"

  • Ozzy tilted his head at her as he let out a curious noise like a pet would, more specifically a dog yet again, kind of like a... confused whimper? He yawned, asking her afterwards. "Hey, hey, why are you smiling Lee? Can I call you Lee? I know you said I could, but it's... okay if I do?"

  • "Yes it's okay for you to call me Lee.~" She giggled and took a sip from her drink that easily warmed her up. "And I'm smiling because I was thinking about my family who are at home. I'm just really happy to have hem in my life"

  • Ozzy nodded at her quietly, blushing just slightly as he realized how much she must love her family as well, leaning in his drink again and taking a sip quietly before he just looked to the side, at all of the people walking down the street or sitting by them due to the cafe's popularity. "... Yeah..."

  • Sensing a change in atmosphere, Leenalee steered the conversation. "So Ozzy, are you still feeling cold, or are you feeling better now?" She hummed, hoping the change in conversation will do the trick. She was finding it difficult to read him, since he appeared to be all over the place with his answers, but it was obvious to her that he was hiding something.

  • Ozzy turned back to her and laughed awkwardly, not having noticed how she changed the conversation as he shook his head, stretching his hands and his legs before fixing himself on his seat again. "O-Oh, nah, I'm good now! Thanks a lot. Um... Do you want your coat back? I could do with it for a bit more, but y'know... Whatever you want though, Lee!"

  • "Can I have my coat back? I'm gonna need it to go back home since the temperature is gonna start picking up." She said remembering when she checked the news on the weather.

  • He frowned, nodding slowly as he took it off and handed it over to her with his frown growing. "Do you have to go right now..? Please tell me you don't..."

  • She shook her head at the misunderstanding. "Oh no! Sorry if I gave you that impression, I'm not leaving so don't worry" Leenalee added a smile to ease the tension, since she noticed how saddened he had seemed. "You're stuck with me for a while, since I don't have to head hope until 6 ish and it's 4 ish so we got plenty of time"

  • Ozzy nodded slowly, feeling better now that he knew his first friend wouldn't be leaving so soon. They had so much time they could spend together, but it was still cold and he had no coat, meaning... he might have to let her know of his secret if he doesn't want to run away suddenly.
