It was a beautiful sunny day and Perry felt like going to the beach. Trouble was she was stuck in an office building with a hoard of zombies battering against the only exit, trapping her in. Her only weapon was an empty pistol and her trusty metal bat. Which wasn't very helpful in taking on a clumped together bunch of undead. Not by herself. Perry's back was against the door feeling every bump and smash against the door. She couldn't very well stay like this forever.

A noise sounded just outside of the building. It was hard to decipher from all the banging, but it sounded perhaps like gunshots- three of them. The banging on the office seemed to cease, causing an eerie silence for a few minutes. Whether if it was safe or not to come out it was not for certain. That was until a force pushed against the door as the handle turned. The force on the other side attempted a few times before stopping. A knock came to the door, a light one.
"Hey, uh, I'm assuming someone is on the other side, yeah? I mean, there would be no other reason why a big bunch of zombos were grouped up here, right?" The voice sounded of that of a female- a young one. Maybe a girl in her teens. "I mean, it doesn't matter if I'm talking to myself or not, I'm just here to see if maybe I got myself a new friend. The names Zoey. You should totally let me in before I get mauled to death."
Hadn't she just admitted that she possibly could be on her own? If she was half-sure that someone was on the other side, why did she stay if she was so concerned about her well-being? There was an uneasy feeling that perhaps whoever this girl was on the other side, she wasn't quite right in the head.

Perry was cautious to feel relief and tensed up farther when she heard a voice. She had her bat ready but did open the door. The zombies lay unmoving scattered around the entrance rotting and their foul smell filling the air, which the baking Sun was not helping. Perry probably didn't look much better with her short brown hair being disheveled and dirt smearing her clothes and skin. "I suppose a thanks are in order." She said looking at the young girl, Zoey. "So, thanks. I'm Perry."
-

A sudden silence sharply filled Sage's ears. She tensed, her calloused hands gripping her crossbow tightly. Her green eyes flitted to the bodies before her, the bodies that had once been full of life mere hours ago. Her dark brown hair stuck to her sweaty face, she fought for breath. The arrow she had been reloading was frozen in place. She quickly regained herself, her military training kicking in. She faced the door, weapon readied. She slowly opened it, peering around the hall.

"Oh, don't worry about it." The girl shrugged, twirling a revolver in her index finger from the trigger. That was probably a dangerous thing to do, but she didn't seem to mind in the slightest, dropping the powerful pistol and looking down at where it had fallen onto the bloodied, rotten floor. "Oops." She muttered to herself before she turned her attention back to Perry.
Staring at Perry was a short girl- perhaps about 4'9" with sandy blonde hair that was loosely braided and rested over her shoulder. Her attire was rather simple- and if anything, looked like she was some military wanna-be; a black tank top, camouflage cargo pants and black combat boots. She wore a dark brown leather belt around her waist that seemed to hold mostly weapons and ammunition, but other some other junk that was indecipherable; it almost looked like things she had created herself for some reason or another. Their purposes and whether they worked or not was up for debate. Staring up at Perry were two different-colored eyes, an icy blue one and a hazel green eye. To top off the girls appearance, freckles heavily sprinkled across her face, and on her shoulders and back.
"But anyways, it's nice to meet ya Perry! Didn't actually think I'd find anyone in this hell hole. I mean, it's America. People will start dropping like flies if McDonalds weren't open for a week." She scratched her cheek. She gave the other a cheeky grin as she picked up the gun and stored it in its proper place in her belt. "I kid, I kid. But really, it's good to see another survivor out here."

Jacob Dawn
It had all happened so fast He felt he had no time to think. How it all started for them? The Dawn kids were home alone watching tv and playing violent video games when they heard loud screaching. It was the neighbore from across the street she was banging on the door and screeching to be let it. She was bleeding from the arm when they helped her in. Apparently her boyfriend had bit her. They had wondered if she was doing drugs and just been attacked. She wound up bleeding out on the floor as kat tried to get hold of a emergency services and angel called there mom. No reply from either, but death didnt stop the neighbore. She had come back trying to eat the youngest. Aries had taken guns from his fathers weapon cabnet and shot her. They had decided to go into town to look for there mom but all they stumbled upon was more chaos
Arieth Dawn
He thought he could handle anything that war had to throw. He was so wrong, what he was seeing nothing at military school could of prepared him for. He felt the fear raising up in him as he tried to keep a eye on his siblings and out for zombies. Angel was still trying to reach there mom but they feared the worse. They preyed she was simply with there father a military man. The city usualy crowed was soaked in blood. Each sibling had at least one weapon. Tetra had a bowe knife. Angel had a swored they found and kai some sais. Mean while loki had automatic bow and jake has two pistols, i had the sniper rifle. -
Ic: A man who's face was concealed behind some aviators and a bandanna, came walking out of a nearby building, his black leather trench coat flapping a little as he walked, from the front view it looked like his shirt was a size or two to big on him, same goes with the jeans and the only thing holding that up was some brown suspenders that he was wearing, his boots where a little old looking, the double stitching was coming out in a spot or two, he was holding a shot gun with one hand pointed at the ground. He started looking for wherever the gunshots had come from, he decided that anyone who has a gun and knows how to shoot it would be pretty good company, especially now that the dead were feasting on the living.
-
OOC: The apocalypse has been going on for at least a year, sorry I didn't really make that clear did I?
IC: Perry stepped out of the building and into the dirty street. In the distance there were zombies staggering about but they weren't of any trouble, yet. The girl seemed frightfully careless but Perry was interested anyway for Zoey was the most lively thing she's seen in weeks. Perry started walking down the road. Staying in one place too long in this world meant death. "Is it just you then?" Perry inquired wondering if she should be on the lookout for surprise guests.

『i』『c』:"Eh? Yeah, it's just me." She had followed the other out into the open street, surveying the surrounding area for any undead that had caught attention to them, or any survivors. She swore she had heard another person perhaps in the office building but that could have been anything-- a zombie, a rodent, her head... Anything was pretty much possible. "I mean, my parents are a thing, but they work for the government so they don't haaaaave to get involved." She stuck her tongue out in distaste, taking a moment of silence. "Wait- I take that back. My DAD would. That's it though. The goverment SUCKS." She groaned.
She started walking down the street, assuming that Perry would follow her, her arms stretched out as she locked her fingers behind her head. "You know, I was super excited to live on my own. Like, just living in an apartment, get to do whatever the hell I want... I wasn't expecting to have a full-blown apocalypse. I mean, I'm not COMPLAINING or anything. It's like a huge get out of jail free card for murder, but still kinda blows."
What an unsettling statement. Either this girl was one of those extremely edgy kids who listen to Black Veil Brides, or she was genuinely a mentally unstable teenager who killed their cat to see how it felt.

Sage listened to two voices talk, and when silence followed their leaving, she realized how it would probably be much safer to follow with a group, rather than be alone. She gathered the few arrows that were stuck in the heads of the corpses around her.
"H-hey, wait," her voice was hoarse and quiet, but she quickly slipped out of the building without much trouble. Her quiver bounced against her back as she dipped behind an abandoned car. Her eyes swept the area, ensuring she was safe, before she stood up. "Uh, excuse me?" The girls were too far, so she sighed to herself and hurried to catch up. -

Loki Dawn
He helped his youngest sister along, She was a 15 year old though much shorter then most. Despite the situation he was optomistic theyd find there mom alive. He had crashed his bike or else hed be using it to get his sister to a safer area. She hated being babied but he was scared to loose any family right now. She was more helpful when it came to knowledge then fighting senss she was there book worm The moans of the dead filled the air. "We have to get the pharmacy" tetra said. They had made a sort of usefull hide out that seemed to keep the zombies away for now but they new they couldnt stay there they had to collect the nescasitys before moving on to keep searching.Ooc: oh by the beach thing and office thing i thought she was surprised by it. Then ill try to keep up with this one.

Angel & Kat Dawn
Jake looked at his sister, "the pharmacy is there down the road. But theres alot of zombies." He stated, the city was huge with so many people licing here and coming and going it made for alot of zombies. The twins glanced at each other "i wonder if theres anyone even alive" said kat "im shocked the zombies can even walk youd think with that much lard they would be rolling" angel said. Loki frowned imagining a scene much like indana jones but instead of running away from a bolder there would be a very fat zombie. "Angel quit giving people nightmares" jake scolded making her roll hed eyes -
Perry suppressed a smile and rested her bat on her shoulder. Backstory unlocked. With Zoeys exuberant way of talking, Perry barely had to speak at all. "Yeah, it blows." She replied repeating the extremely underwhelming phrase about the mass destruction to their race and society which basically doomed them to a life of fear and misery that would likely end before they were 30. She would admit that using the phrase lightened the load of it all. A voice made Perry spin on her heels. It was just a girl with long red(?) hair but the undead wasn't the only threat in the world. She held her bat nonchalant by her side but was ready in case the girl tried to rob her. Perry also angled herself to watch Zoey, just in case.

『i』『c』:Zoey pulled her revolver from her belt, spinning the chamber with her thumb as she noticed Perry's alarm to the new person. She peaked to the other girl who had began to approach. "Oh, hey, today is just our lucky day, isn't it?" The girl let out a soft laugh of amusement. "I mean, two people in one day? We just might have an army by the end of the week!"
That was an exaggerated statement- and Zoey knew this- but she was still rather surprised that she would meet so many people at once. For months she had seen absolutely nobody, and suddenly... people. She wondered if it was because she was in the wrong parts of towns for so long. Who knew?

Erik Monro had indeed been prepared for 'the end of the world'. His parents had been one of those "Apocalyptic prepare people". At the time he had obviously thought of it as stupid, that nothing of the sort could happen. How wrong he had been, Though he still thanks everyday for the preparation. Unfortunately, his parents had died within the first few months of the apocalypse and everyday he would think of them. Thank them silently for teaching him everything he knew. Erik, like many other survivors hid in the shadows, stayed alone because none could be trusted nowadays. He had already made the mistake of helping a young child no more then 12 but the kid eventually stole all his better supplies leaving him with nothing.
At the very moment Erik was wearing everything he could to hide his identity. A large black face mask covered the lower half of his face while a larger bandanna was tied around the top half covered with a black hoodie however he had another space to see. His skinny jeans, however not practical was all he had left in the pants department and wasn't one to steal from the dead. Erik had been watching the group from afar, hiding in the shadows, observing the situation. His hand slid across the graffiti covered wall, he legs slowly following after his body, edging ever so slightly. He could easily spring from behind, kill them and take everything they had, yet he couldn't. He stood frozen in place, standing just outside the shadows, he was able to be seen from any angle. -
Finding a branch she could actually reach, Sky jumped, grabbing hold, and began climbing with small grunts and sighs as she went. Upon reaching a comfortable height, the 15-year-old girl set her backpack in front of her, eating some berries she'd found in the forest.
"K, so... forest is here. River is that way," She began as she pulled out a canister of water. "Beach is way over there. Behind me is that cave."
Thinking, Sky pulled out her bow and an arrow, aiming at nothing in particular until a rabbit caught her eye.
"Oh."
Tying a string to the end of her arrow, she took aim at her new target and fired.
"Boom, headshot!!"
Her voice softly echoed through the forest as she tugged on the rope, bringing the kill to her. The arrow was pulled out and Sky grabbed her knife to begin skinning tonight's dinner. -
Is this still open?
