Burst looked around at the small town they were passing through. "Is this the largest that your people's towns get?"
I need help! Can you help me?

OOC:
IC: Pyrite gave a laugh as they left the town's main road for the highway. "No way. We're an hour or two from any bigger towns, though. And several from the big cities. This is rural North Carolina here."
-
"So you say there are towns up to three times bigger than the one we passed through? And what are we traveling along right now?"
-
OOC:
IC: "Oh no they're waaaay bigger than three times," Pyrite chuckled. "And this here is called a highway. It's just a quicker road than the back roads, usually."
-
"Interesting. So you are saying that they are planet sized," she asked
-
OOC:
IC: "God, no," Pyrite chuckled in surprise. "Geez, not nearly that big!"
-
"So a continent," she asked trying to get a mental image
-
OOC: sorry for the delay!
IC: "Much smaller than a continent," Pyrite corrected patiently.
-
She paused for a time to think. "Not planet sized, not a continent. So a small state?"
-
OOC:
IC: "Smaller," Pyrite guided, trying not to grin.
-
She starts to think once more. "Thirty percent of a state? I'm really loosing things to compare," she said
-
OOC:
IC: "Nah, a state could be made up of a lot of cities," Pyrite chuckled.
-
Burst made some kind of exasperated sound "I give up. I could guess for a year and still not get the size of a large city right," she said looking out the window noticing the scenery had changed since playing twenty questions.
-
OOC:
IC: "Do y'all have planet- sized cities in space?" Pyrite chuckled curiously.
-
"One planet is a colony. And to answer your question, yes. Most colonies are gem hubs, or in your vocabulary, cities," she said
-
OOC:
IC: Pyrite frowned at a thought. "What about the wildlife? Did those planets have life on 'em?"
-
"Some of them used to," Burst said with a nonchalant shrug. "Most of the time it was nothing but flora but sometimes the planet had fauna too."
-
OOC:
IC: Pyrite frowned. "What happened to it all?"
-
Burst looked at Pyrite with a confused look. "What do you mean, what happened to it? It's gone, dead. All of it. We needed the planet more than the plants did so we terraformed it to our standards."
-
OOC:
IC: Pyrite's frown deepened. "The plants obviously needed it," she pointed out.
