    Okay I'm here so lemme explain


    I read a book that had these characters called 'inquisitors' and they couldn't die. The only way to kill them was by removing these spikes at the back of their head.


    What if the aliens experimented on the captive humans and created these sort of elite warriors to annihilate the rest of humanity. The chips or brands send these signals to the brain that makes them sort of reset and upload the data from the brand/chip into their memory, wiping any previous ones so that these 'elite warriors' are pretty much robots, slaves to the aliens will. Later on, maybe a few of us can have characters that remember or something.


    Anyway, these elite monkeys are only created after the concentration camps start, and then the rebels start seeing these humans but they're hostile and really powerful and it kinda throw them off a bit.


    I don't know just throwing that out there. Maybe it's good maybe it's awful. But I definitely think it should be set with advanced technology and I will try to brainstorm as we go :)

    biotech! lots and lots of biotech! i want bionic arms, legs, eyes, implants, the whole shebang. i want a full robo-cop transplant to be very real and very possible. i want hover vehicles. badass cars that charge in minutes and accelerate beyond anything close to what we're capable of now. i want heat-sensing, night-vision glasses that are about a expensive as the modern-day laptop. i want comm devices that fit in your ear. i want a sort of banking system that activates through brainwaves alone, as numbers and fingerprints quickly grew dated and unreliable. and i want holograms. lots and lots of holograms.

    also, we should have some sort of robotic-surgery machine, or radiology tank that help cure/prevent most sicknesses like in prometheus or elysium love matt damon

    it was the aim of the game my friend


    OH that sounds so cool. Mmmm I'm not really a space or sci-fi person normally but I'm ready to punch a wall this is actually really invigorating.


    What about any advanced weaponry/armory? Maybe not plasma blasters or lightsabers or anything, but maybe some energy focused or radiation guns? Deflection shields/armor? What if later on, while trying to figure out how to take down the alien-things, they start to consider some sort of 'black market plague', that was really popular for a while and a lot of people died because of it, but it was banned (for obvious reasons) and became really hard to find, to take out the alien-things. Or even if it's not that, some sort of weapon/disease/weakness/etc that they have to go try to find and repossess so they can launch an attack, but at the cost leaving the concentration/labor camp survivors on there one/having to split up because some of the group doesn't want to leave friends/family/just people in general? What about one of the alien-things turning traitor and disclosing information to the rebels?


    I'm brainstorming guys I'm brainstorming- and I promise I'll try to think of technology but I can't promise anything great from me I'm not the most technical person

    Hover cars?? This is about aliens, not a fantasy world!


    But yeah, anyway, I'm obsessed with augmenting humans with mechanical things. I was going to go into biomechanical engineering but noooooo! That's a super rare major to find!


    Directed energy weapons are lasers BTW!


    We could totally do some kind of armor too, but I don't think the banking thing would matter.

    I was just teasing! Hover cars may not be realistic, neither is an alien race taking over the entirety of Earth.


    I mean, we have all this money dumped into roads and highways and we are gonna throw it all away because we don't want our cars to touch the ground? Mhhhhhm.


    Those cars are neat though! We can use those and hover ones! Maybe hover cars could be like today's super sports, not everyone can afford one.

    Very honestly I'm not that much into the alien scene (Though the Combine are badass af) but I'll join you guys if you make a thread.


    Also, I got an idea, how about a apocalyptic Wolfenstein-ish thread?

    He used to scare me as a kid. When I would go to my great grandma's for holidays (from OH to WV), the way my parents took (fastest way) went right past the aforementioned TNT factory...AKA Mothman's house...
