    Va'al-kren. (Randomly popped into my head.) Kren could mean people in their language and their planet could be Va'al. So, they are Va'al people.


    Pronounce it however you want, as long as it's guttural!

    Whoops I thought it was just you guys. I think the idea sound so really cool!! I've been kinda watching like... I'm hyped and I'm not even a part of this.

    Make sure Mick has phantom sensations! Those really just confuse me honestly.


    People who are even born without arms can have phantom itches on their nonexistent arms! No one really understands why...

    I have another idea for names :3 human name for Aliens: 'The Fire Breather'. This is because when an Alien has a human captured, it brands the human's neck with a symbol or animal. Sometimes the branding goes wrong and the branded ones get that power, a small sort. This is rare, so the group of branded ones is small. They call themselves Aneemalous Symbolous. Also known as in English, Branded Animals {Made that up X3}. The humans travel from place to place to keep from the Aliens or Fire Breathers.

    i like the idea of the branding thing! maybe they could even insert some sort of tracking chip thing into the people they enslave. that way, if they escape or get to far, they can track them down or like paralyze them or something


    ehh, not sure if i like the ability thing. that sort of complicates things more


    just realized i've majorly overused the word 'thing' in this post... we seriously need to start naming these things...

    I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that, but the idea of somehow giving humans powers (via implants?) sounds kind of intriguing. Maybe they use them as weapons or something or maybe some people in the group can have them!

    Yeah! Some of them have different chips. And the only way to tell them apart, since the Aliens {Fire breather} are color blind, is to give the different symbols and animals on their neck :3

    sooooo, whatever the aliens 'brand' us with...


    ...it somehow reacts with our bodies in a way that the aliens didn't expect. maybe its weak in some, but if you're able to channel it right, you can become more powerful? oohh, and then we ca use it against them in the end! OOHH, and it'll even give us a chance to reverse-engineer some of their technology! i definitely think that whatever they brand us with should be some sort of mechanical tracking device thing, or maybe even a combo of a symbol and a device

    Hmmmmmmmmmmm...I really don't know about the Fire Breather part though...I think they'll just call them aliens or by whatever they call themselves. It's not like they would have time to come up with a name in the few months the war lasted.


    As for the branding, it could be used to label the prisoners to see what camp they would be sent to based on their skill set and implants. Like someone who was strong, and had an implant that made him stronger, could be some sort of hard laborer. I don't think the animal part would work, since their animals (if they had any) wouldn't be like Earth animals

    I never really thought my idea would turn into such a brainstorming session!

    Anyway! What kinda of technologies should the humans have? The aliens have these implants that they brand us with that give us certain, sometimes strong, abilities, mostly for use in their prison camps. But, humans have like advanced robotics systems? I know about a lot of experimental real-life tech! I.e, a jet pack that grants super speed, exo-skeletons that make you super strong.


    Some characters could even be sentient robots!
