Swiftclaw
The leader of QuailClan stretched out his legs. He was one of the only decents left of Quailfur, the original leader of QuailClan. He was also one of the only cats to have lived in the old territory and has traveled through the city to the new territories. His mother, Marshwhisker, was the last cat from the first generation of QuailClan. The raccoon like tom knew he will make QuailClan strong. He would honor Quailfur as long as he is alive. He even knows Quailfur is watching over him because he keeps spotting a blue eyed quail outside his den every night.
Lakeshine
The silver and blue tabby she-cat stretched. She didn't understand why all the clans refused to eat birds, well she knew FinchClan did anyways. The idea of killing a bird, taking some feathers, and not eating it was odd to her, but nonetheless she followed whatever Swiftclaw told her. Lakeshine didn't want to get on his bad side anyways. She sat up and looked around the rocky camp.
Hillclaw
A black tom with brown paws came back from hunting with a mangled rabbit hanging from his jaw. QuailClan were messy hunters. This most likely happen because of the second leader, Frozenrain, the tom to rule over QuailClan before Swiftclaw. He was a rouge cat and had thought himself to hunt. Hillclaw also knew that Marshwhisker was his sister. The tales he was told were horrific. Marshwhisker, Quailfur, and Frozenrain had stolen FeatherClan kits and starved them inside a hole until their mother joined QuailClan. Hillclaw remembers her name was Charcoalcoat. He shivered at the thought of this such event happening again.
Moonpaw
The smokey black tabby apprentice groaned and called out. "Spiderpetal I want to go to the training gorge! I want to fiiiiight!" This particular tom was very battle hungry. He tries his best to be on every patrol so hopefully he would get a chance to battle and kill cats. QuailClan had no rules about killing cats. He loved it.
Marshwater
The elder layed on the highest rock in the camp, watching over the clan. Her blue jay wings' feathers ruffled in the breeze. This particular she-cat had taken both wings and attached it to her flanks as if they were her real wings. FeatherClan believes no matter what, Marshwhisker will fade away because her feather freind doesn't have its wings. The whole purpose of the feather freind is to attack part of the bird's soul to you, that way when you die the souls will connect and you will be dragged along with them to StarClan. Marshwhisker thought this was bull crap. She was proud of her strength and her beauty
Pinebreeze woke with a small yawn, standing up as she blinked the drowsiness from her light greenish-amber eyes. She stretched, arching her black back to loosing the stiffened muscles. Shaking out her fur, she looked at the sleeping cats around her. She nudged a few of them to try and wake them up for patrols. One of these cats was her brother Volewhisker, who used a dark brown paw to swipe at her--claws unsheathed--which she easily dodged. She growled a small warning to him before turning and exiting the den, her ears pulled back.
Volewhisker muttered something to himself as he stood up after his sister woke him up. The claws on the paw he had used to swipe at her were still unsheathed as he thought, You won't think so highly of yourself one of these days. His tail twitching angerly, he kept his posture low as he followed his darker-furred sister out of the den.
Spiderpetal twiched her ears amused hearing Moonpaw calling. "Let me eat something first, you need too as well. Then I'll make sure we are not needed."she said, swiping her paw across his ears lightly."If they don't need us I'll take you right to the gorge for some training alright?"she said amused.
Thundercloud swished her ears feeling irritated. The she-cat was rather bored and felt like doing something. She gave her chest a few licks then got up. Quickly she slipped out of camp and raced off. Maybe she could find something to do that was exciting.
Moonpaw flattened his black ears and slid down so he was laying down and lashing his tail across the rough wild grass. "But that's not fun! I want to be like Quailfur! He went days without eating and he still managed to kill FeatherClan's leader Crowstar!" His brown grey tea lit up in excitement
-Lightningstrike of FC crossed the border-
Lightningstrike smelled the fresh air of the moorland. Ive missed this... three moons as an apprentice in QuailClan was amazing. Actually, spending my kithood in their camp was amazing... I hate FeatherClan. My mother, my brother's... not to mention Im a son of some rouge. So my mother gave me up and sent me away because she was ashamed of me... Swiftclaw was like a father to me. I admiered him... I wonder if he will take me back... Not even realizing it but the dark grey warrior was nearing their camp
Spiderpetal lashed her tail."Well you are only an apprentice. Now eat or you can stay and clean the elders."she hissed. Though she was impressed with her apprentices energy. Pride surgered through her, she would make sure he learned a lot. Thoughts filled her head of what type of training would be best for him.
Thundercloud was to busy leaving camp and wanting to explore that she hadn't noticed Lightningstrike at first. Then his scent filled her nose instead of hostility curiosity filled her eyes. Quickly the she-cat made her way over some rocks and spotted the Tom. Swishing her tail she leapt down near him."Hello there."she said eyes narrowed faintly. Though she was curious she wasnt mousebrained, fighting might happen. Her orange eyes roomed over the males pelt taking in his appearance. She wouldn't admit outloud, but the Tom was rather handsome.
Lightningstrike's neck fur rose as the she-cat approached him, and that was when he realized he was walking straight to QuailClan camp. "Oh! I'm Lightningstike. You might remember me, I was Lightningpaw, before I went back to my mother's clan. So, heh, you are you?" The usually aggressive tom felt more lax now that he was in QuailClan territory
Thundercloud watched him and listened. She did know a bit about him. Though not much."I'm Thundercloud."she said calmly, then tilted her head."So why are you here now?"she questioned him.
Lightningstike narrowed his eyes and looked away, suddenly growing sour. "I hate it in FeatherClan. There are so many rules and I get nagged at Everytime I train quote on quote, too rough. I guess I've been missing life in QuailClan I wandered over the border."
Thundercloud nodded her head understanding. Then she walked around him her tail flicked under his chin."Hm why don't you try to rejoin Quailclan then."she said. Her eyes glinted with amusement knowing it wasn't that simple. You couldn't really just go from clan to another. Though she wouldn't think it would be too bad for Lightningstrike to join them again.
⋆ violetsoul sighed, licking a paw. the medicine den had been quiet lately, which was a blessing of course, but it did leave violetsoul with a dearth of activities to complete. the ragdoll she-cat groomed her fur, humming a tune. she gazed around the medicine den, eyes passing each herb and noting the groups that seemed down. some of the herbs had been in that den for moons on end. of course, another blessing since those herbs happened to be herbs for serious infections and ailments. violetsoul stretched, gave a shake to her fur and padded slowly out of the med den, blinking her icy eyes at the midday brightness.
(Thunderclouds response is a few posts before)
Moonpaw grumbled and bounded over to the pile of dead rabbits laying under a flat stone. The stone was placed so the prey would be protected by scavenging bits, the hot sun, and rain. He grabbed a small brown rabbit and chewed on it.
Lightningstike looked at the she-cat with curiosity. "I made a promise to my sister before she died that I would care for FeatherClan."
Spiderpetal watched him amused. She stretched then sat down after grabbing herself a rabbit.
Thundercloud nodded her head some."I see."she's murmured. Then she had an idea."Hey why don't you come back tomorrow and I'll show you the territory."she said. She figured he would have to head back soon before he was missed.
Moonpaw shoved his face, litterly, full of prey before he came over with strips of meat hanging from his jaw. "I'm ready to go!"
"I'd like that.... Well, Thundercloud, I can't wait until tomorrow." He turned around, ready to go, then looked back at her
-once you reply to him he will cross back over to FeatherClan-
